1980s Sex Symbol Tournament Round 05 Set 2
« on: September 24, 2010, 08:47:00 PM »
{alt} {alt}
DEMI MOORE (Age: 27; 5'5" / 9th 3-1) vs KATHLEEN TURNER (Age: 35; 5'8" / 6th 4-0)
Demi Moore has warned her rivals with a true bitchy image lately but Kathleen Turner still thinks she's bigger and stronger then the brunette. - Who cares about Demi anyway, she'll be a useless piece of shit after I beat her up - Kathleen has no sympathy whatsoever for her next opponent.

{alt} {alt}
VIRGINIA MADSEN (Age: 28; 5'5" / 22nd 1-3) vs AUDREY LANDERS (Age: 33; 5'3" / 10th 3-1)
Two slender and soft blondes promise to go at each other with no mercy right from the start. Audrey's run of success had been brutally stopped by Demi Moore and Virginia's only win came againt equally petite built Kim Delaney. - Audrey's wins were all fluke, I'm gonna rip her hair out to show how weak she really is - Virginia likes to put an image of nastier of the two but will this be enough or will Audrey smash her up instead?

{alt} {alt}
KIM BASINGER (Age: 36; 5'7.5" / 7th 4-0) vs EMMA SAMMS (Age: 29; 5'4" / 23rd 1-3)
Kim Basinger laughs off Emma Samms' swimsuit and thinks she'd better be off at a spring break party and not fighting among the real women. Emma has only one win to her name but if Kim is overconfident before the fight, she might end up on the same boat as Cindy Margolis and Tracy Scoggins were in the previous round.

{alt} {alt}
REBECCA DE MORNAY (Age: 30; 5'5.5" / 24th 1-3) vs ALISON ARMITAGE (Age: 24; 5'6" / 25th 0-4)
Alison Armitage is puzzled why she still hasn't won a fight and targets Rebecca de Mornay as an ideal opponent to finally break the deadlock. Rebecca may be small but very aggressive when it comes to beating up other women. - Alison is a dumb airhead who doesn't stand a chance once I claw into her phoney boobs - she says. But Alison has seen how Kathy Ireland absolutely trashed Rebecca in the previous round and thinks she can do the same.

{alt} {alt}
DARYL HANNAH (Age: 29; 5'10" / 4th 4-0) vs KIM WILDE (Age: 29; 5'4" / 17th 2-2)
Pure blonde delight for the onlookers here as Daryl Hannah fresh from sending Tanya Roberts into the Sheena dreamlands is willing to to likewise with Kim Wilde - There is only one wild woman in this duell and that's certainly not that dumb English bitch - Daryl abuses Kim right from the start. But will she regret those words as the blonde singer has proven she's not called Wilde for no reason.

{alt} {alt}
SAMANTHA FOX (Age: 23; 5'1" / 15th 2-2) vs JERRY HALL (Age: 33; 6'0" / 18th 2-2)
This is the greatest mis-match in terms of physical shape as the samllest fighter of the competition Samantha Fox takes on the tallest Jerry Hall. The singer's early wins seem a long time away and her confidence is probably not good either. Meanwhile Jerry Hall is feeling fine again after hairpulling Nancy Valen bald and thinks she can literally kick Samantha out of the ring in a matter of seconds. Will the height difference prevail or will the small singer end up jumping on the model's stomach and forcing her to submit?

{alt} {alt}
CATHERINE OXENBERG (Age: 28; 5'5.5" / 16th 2-2) vs BROOKE SHIELDS (Age: 24; 6'0" / 21st 1-3)
Brooke Shields caued a major upset last time around and knocked out Tracy Scoggins for her maiden victory but now faces Catherine Oxenberg whose sweet looks are very much deceiving as Marla Heasley and Samantha Fox painfully found out. The odds are even before the fight and this could well be one of the closest match-ups of this round.

{alt} {alt}
MARLA HEASLEY (Age: 30; 5'6" / 32nd 0-4) vs LYDIA CORNELL (Age: 36; 5'6" / 12th 3-1)
Marla Heasley is rooted to the bottom of the standings but has taken some wrestling lessons from fellow A-Team co-star Mr. T recently and thinks she's ready to unveil her newly discovered bitchy nature. But Lydia Cornell has quietly been doing her job and that is beating up other women. She's not taking anything for granted, but thinks Marla would need much more lessons from Mr. T to give her a run for the money.

Demi Moore overpowered by Kathleen Turner. I agree with barbosa on this being a fight of two real tough women in a close fight. The battle centers on each woman trying to out muscle the other. Kathleen eventually wins the battle of the muscles. She finally forces Demi down and rubs her face against the stone. "Is this the first time you have ever romanced a stone?" Kathleen teases her.

Virginia Madsen embarrassed by Audrey Landers. Barbosa is undoubtedly correct in that Virginia is underrated and would prevail over Audrey. I voted for Audrey with my heart and not my head. I just love the image of a sweet, tiny woman being bullied by a bigger woman but showing she is made of tough stuff and getting the better of the bully. The cute Audrey has a lot of luck in winning this one.

Kim Basinger toys with Emma Samms. You could easily used the same logic in this fight for Emma to get the better of bully Kim. The difference to me is that Kim is stronger and a better fighter than Virginia and so would have no trouble in easily handling Emma.

Rebecca de Mornay runs into an angry Alison Armitage. Alison desperately wants a win and is even more eager to do it at the expense of a blonde bimbo. It is a blonde vs brunette nasty catfight and this time the blonde does not have more fun, nor more hair left at the end.

Daryl Hannah puts the hurt on Kim Wilde. Another fight with a large size and strength difference. NO matter how wild Wilde gets, she just can't match up with Daryl who will drop her on her knee for a back breaker win.

Samantha Fox KOs Jerry Hall. As already noted this is the shortest, albeit not the smallest weight wise, vs one of the tallest. Samantha's prowess is her ability to throw a punch and comes out with her dukes up. Jerry thinks this is stupid for Sam to want to do as she has an enormous reach advantage on Sam. Turns out Sam's diminutive size is an advantage as Jerry can't find a target to hit. Samantha moves in quickly and throws body punch after body punch until Jerry is weakened (which doesnt' take long). As she drops to her knees Samantha hits her with a round house hay maker that KOs the redheaded model.

Catherine Oxenberg. I am not sure why many think Brooke Shields is weak. In her teens she may have been a thin model. But she filled out to large boned, solid bodied woman. I do agree she is not a good catfighter while Catherine Oxenberg is. Although Catherine looks like a socialite from Philadelphia maybe she learned something form the tough streets of Philly. Whatever, barbosa said it right in that she teaches that catfights are not for models.

Marla Heasley loses a roll-around tussling fight to Lydia Cornell. Not sure where Lydia learned how to catfight but she seems to be doing well at it. Perhaps she had several fights with her costar Debra Van Valkenburg. It is an even fight with the two women locking up hands in hair and going down. Rolling back and forth it is Lydia who finally manages to stay on top. Her well shaped legs wind around Marla's equally sexy legs and spreads them out in a grapevine that has Marla tapping out.

Demi Moore vs Kathleen Turner: I would like to give the minority opinion her and say Demi is going to beat Kathleen. But Kathleen is my favorite to win it all. Demi will put up a struggle but that is all it will be, a struggle. She will struggle unsuccessfully to get out of Kathleen's grasp and legs. When Kathleen is done with Demi she will hit her with a powerful punch to put her flat on her back.

Virginia Madsen vs Audrey Landers: I might give Audrey's sister, Judy, a chance against Virginia because I think Judy is the more athletic of the two sisters. Virginia will take Audrey by her hair and wrestle her down. She will keep Audrey under her as she finally gets her in a schoolgirl pin sit on that cute, innocent looking  face. I doubt if Audrey is as innocent as she looks.

Kim Basinger vs Emma Samms: Kim roughs Emma up, no two ways about it. Emma couldn't handle the weaker Heather Locklear and Kim is much stronger. She toys and plays with Emma.

Rebecca de Mornay vs Alison Armitage: Rebecca's mean streak surfaces as she goes after the brunette Alison. Alison made disparaging remarks about ripping out Rebecca's bleach hair on her way to her first victory. Rebecca has a low boiling point to begin with and those words make her blood boil. A very nasty catfight takes place as Alison thinks she can get her first win but comes up short as Rebecca even yanks out her short and curlies.

Daryl Hanna vs Kim Wilde: Daryl shows Kim no mercy. There is not only a size difference her but a toughness difference also. Daryl uses Kim as a whipping girl to let it be known that she is just as much a favorite to win it all as Kathleen Turner or anyone else is.

Samantha Fox vs Jerry Hall: Hard to believe that I am with everyone else in choosing the vertically challenged Samantha over the lanky Jerry. But I see the Fox as a brawler and Jerry as a cream puff who will have the cream knocked out of her.

Catherine Oxenberg vs Brooke Shields: I don't see Brooke as a weak model type. She has substance. She will over power the socialite Oxenberg, sending her back to the berg with a split lip.

Marla Heasley vs Lydia Cornell: I think I am responsible for Lydia being in this tournament so what kind of gentleman would I be if I abandoned her now. The truth is I think she is just a better fighter and tougher than Marla. Marla will find Lydia Too Close for Comfort as she wraps her up and squeezes the air out of her., using her superior tits to great advantage.

Thanks for all the comments!  ;D Here's a rundown of how the fights unfolded.

Demi Moore (31) vs Kathleen Turner (47)
Both women matched each other in aggression and sheer willpower but Kathleen proved too strong for the malicious Demi and utterly worked her over in a gruelling fight. Demi couldn't catch her breath anymore but Kathleen continued chopping her to pieces and therefore state her intentions of the overall success.

Virginia Madsen (35) vs Audrey Landers (38)
Bot these slender built blondes really went all guns blazing at each other and the action was fast and furious with face-slapping, hairpulling and clothes-ripping all in the mix. However when Audrey clawed her nails into Virginia's boobs it was too much for the later's liking and Audrey did just about enough to force a submission, but she barely had any energy left to celebrate this victory.

Kim Basinger (45) vs Emma Samms (31)
There was little trouble for Kim in this fight as she used all her aggression to pummel Emma out of her senses in a straight-forward fashion. All the pundits had this scoreline on the cards.

Rebecca de Mornay (37) vs Alison Armitage (39)
This turned out to be the closest fight of the lot as Rebecca and Alison both came within striking distance of victory before one finally had to give up. The blonde decided she's going to turn the redhead's tits sideways and make her a crying wimp, but Alison for once managed to get her legs into action and clawed Rebecca in half. Both women were stuck in their holds hoping the other one will finally succumb to the pain and it the end it was Rebecca's ribs that gave way and she slumped into defeat as Alison emerged with a badly bruised rack but victorious for the first time in the tournament.

Daryl Hannah (42) vs Kim Wilde (33)
All the experts had Daryl enjoying a walk in the park over Kim, but the singer managed to deliver a few punches herself and it wasn't until Daryl decided to go 100% serious, the hard time for Kim had began. Indeed once Daryl got her claws into Kim's flesh there was always going to be one winner and Kim soon crumbled in agony while Daryl kicked her brains out for good.

Samantha Fox (41) vs Jerry Hall (33)
Despite some experts calling Samantha overrated and Jerry very much underrated earlier, there was a general wisdom involved that a much taller woman will have a really rough time with much smaller and faster opponent. This proved to be Sam's great advantage and once she started pounding Jerry's stomach (she couldn't get a good reach towards her head), the model quickly softened up and couldn't avoid a real embarrassement in Sam beating her into submission.

Catherine Oxenberg (44) vs Brooke Shields (33)
Both women are convinced they're much tougher then their record shows and while Brooke managed to give Catherine a split lip, it was only then that the blonde really charged up towards her opponent and pinned her flat on her back after a lenghty struggle. Catherine's thighs made a perfect fit around Brooke's face and the trapped brunette was forced to give up much to her anger.

Marla Heasley (27) vs Lydia Cornell (45)
The brunette is still learning the rules of catfighting but it seems Lydia has them covered in numbers already. Applying a crushing bodyscissors didn't prove that much troublesome and Marla got clawed in half before tapping out for her fifth straight loss. Lydia on the other hand will be taking a great deal of confidence after this especially considering such a strong support from one of the leading catfighting experts around, the one and only GlamourFights!

I'm no more an expert than you or barbosa or a few others on this forum, but thanks. As far as Lydia it is different things that make a woman stand out for us. As I mentioned in the 1970s poll it was the shot of Catherine Bach's cocked leg as she pushed the deputy into the car that really sold me on her legs. With Lydia it is her big, bedroom eyes. One of the best pair of eyes around.

Thanks again  :) Sometimes it's actually quite mind-boggling when an upset win happens and you have to figure out how the allegedly weaker girl won against the odds  ;) You know that well from the 50s and 60s polls as well  ;)

Even those these upsets are often improbably I kind of love them to shake things up and to test my creative juices in coming up with a reasonable explanation. It would be boring to always write that so and so won because she was so much bigger, stronger, etc. etc....
