Many thanks for all the comments and
Glamour Fights' teaser seemed to justify itself with the final score
Lesley-Ann Down (27) vs
Debbie Harry (47)A lot of pre-show bitching and abuse promised a very close fight but Debbie Harry obviously had other ideas as she plain wrecked Lesley-Ann Down into her sixth straight loss which tumbled her down to the bottom of the standings even behind the soft Julie Ege.
Byline and
Glamour Fights predicted a massive hairpulling scenario once Debbie gets Lesley where she wants her and this would probably be the case as the blonde singer is not the one to show any mercy to a fallen rival and Lesley most certainly got beaten up badly here.
Yutte Stensgaard (26) vs
Ornella Muti (48)However Debbie Harry just missed out on the biggest beatdown of the round thanks to Ornella Muti's rag doll treatment of Yutte Stensgaard. The blonde's shocking win over Linda Harrison didn't convince most of the experts to predict a follow up and Ornella was the last one to get distracted by that in first place. As a result she tore up the Danish blonde and made her feel the ultimate pain only a true vicious fighter like Ornella can apply.
Susan Anton (38) vs Morgan Fairchild (36)
This proved to be the stand out fight of the entire round as Morgan's unbeaten run came to an end as
Attaguy and
byline boldly predicted. Susan always had the physical measure of anyone around and only her tentative approach let her down in most of the fights. But against Morgan Fairchild she came out with all guns blazing an simply surprised and overpowered the unbeaten fellow blonde. Morgan didn't even have a chance to use her speed against the lanky Susan but managed to get her off the feet and knocked down on the floor. She never had the core strenght to pin Susan though and fell victim to a brutal face pounding that made her quit for the first time in the competition.
Cheryl Ladd (46) vs Donna MIlls (26)
Both women matched each other in size but Cheryl proved her record is here to stay as she creamed Donna all over the floor leaving her torn apart to pieces. Cheryl had been able to practice some wrestling techniques as Donna couldn't cause any harm to the Charlie's Angel and became an easy victim which all the experts had on the cards.
Chris Noel (45) vs Sondra Locke (25)
Another one-sided beatdown featured Chris Noel's walk through over Sondra Locke. Clint Eastwood's tips still seem to fall on deaf ears so far.
Byline had this one going on the beach with Sondra dragged underwater by Chris and barely escaping a drowning which looks like a great pick. Either Sondra needs to get Clint to her next fight to cheer her on in person or get hold of some extra weapons as right now she's causing no trouble with pure catfighting skills to the other women in the tournament.
Margot Kidder (28) vs
Lynda Carter (46)Lynda's painful loss to Carol Lynley is a dead rubber by now as Margot Kidder got sent home gift-wrapped with her limbs after a speedo slugfest where Lynda had full control and little sympathy for the fellow brunette. She didn't even need to turn the Wonder Woman powers to score a very easy victory.
Carol Lynley (39) vs Barbi Benton (31)
Barbi charged up to Carol without much hesitation and scratched the blonde's face alright but only then Carol became really upset and once she ripped the brnette's bikini off and pulled her hair out it was enough to secure her fifth win of the competition.
Bo Derek (36) vs Linda Harrison (34)
Contrary to most of the experts' opinions, Bo Derek's myth is still very much up and alive despite Linda Harrison's best efforts to cut it short. This proved to be the closest fight of the round matching Suzy Kendall and Anni-Frid Lyngstad but because of the much better records of the two fighters, got more attention (Susan Anton might think otherwise though). Linda's passion and strenght was never in question but Bo's youth and athleticism were also in demand and in the end Linda just couldn't avoid Bo wrapping her legs around her neck and after a long and gruelling fight she finally broke down and tapped out in defeat.
