I imagine this gets discussed sometimes, but I have noticed a reduction in girlfights lately, and frankly it's annoying!

TopDog..the Russian bareknuckle event - started off with at least one fight on each card, I really thought my prayers had been answered..fistfighting but not in a cage, not wearing skimpy attire, sportswear or less. Perfect! But it seems to be just dudes now.

Even the weird Fight Circus event previously had more women, this new one has pretty much nothing.

I know some other orgs are stepping up and that's good, so this is partly a pointless rant and more about my particular tastes not being satisfied.

Any opinions or thoughts on why this might be happening? Do the women not want to participate. Do the promoters not see the $/viewing returns?

Organized  Fem fights in IRL have always been more of a freak show than a real challenge, unfortunately. Women's fights in Top Dog are no exception, it was more of a freak show and a warm-up for the main fights.
The same situation is in the fights of football fans. 4-5 years ago there were a lot of female fights, it was not a problem for me to find a rival to fight. But now, even among football fans, female fights have become a rarity.

with the economy "not that great" more females might be willing to fight for $$$$$$. entertainers do here in Vegas!!!
