It's that time of year again.  Hometown long-distance girlfriends are anxiously awaiting the Winter Break return of their college boy crush from high school.  Only to be devastated when he brings home with him that girl from college that he kinda/sorta mentioned a couple of times. 

Well, and was leaning on his arm in a couple of his Instagram posts.

And was sitting on his lap in one .... both of them clearly drunk.

But who he never referred to as a girlfriend.

But now she's here?  To meet his family, what?  Both the parents .... and the aunts and uncles and cousins at the family-only Christmas Eve dinner?

How are they already that serious?? 

Anyways .... what combinations will amp up the jealousy between the two girls?  Possibly to the boiling point?

1.  Hometown girl is really good at fucking.  On the couch, in the backseat of a car, in a bathroom stall.  But college coed makes love with him, in a bed.  In 27 different positions she read about in a book.

2.  Hometown girl's parents are broke--college boy is her only ticket out of here.  College girl's parents are loaded--paying full freight for her tuition.

3.  Hometown girl spends to make her hair a nicer shade of blonde.  College's girls is already that same color.....

4 .... and length/style as hometown girls.  Is that why he likes her?

5.  Hometown girl has a used 2012 Honda Accord.  College girl has a 2019 Infiniti Q60 SUV.  It's how college girl and boy got home from campus.

6.  Hometown girl loves reading Jane Austen and Charlotte Bronte novels she finds at used bookstores.  College girl is majoring in British Literature.

7.  Hometown girl's Instagram page gets snide comments posted at 3am.  College girl makes Tik-Toks which hometown girl is blocked from.

8.  Hometown girl loves burgers.  College girl is vegan, "but not for zhe holidays."

9.  Hometown girl gives terrible massages.  College girl took a class last summer.

10.  Hometoen girl has visited 7 states.  College girl has visited 8 countries.

11.  Hometown girls has gotten into catfights.  So has college girl.

Places hometown girl can see a fight happening in the next 4 weeks:
> At the town dive bar.  Some pushing and shoving at the pool tables, then going at it all out in the gravel lot after the bouncers toss them.
> At the high school bleachers, after hometown girl shows college girl where she took the boy's virginity.
> Behind the closed Barnes & Noble, after high school girl texts to college girl, "Let's get this over with ... IF you're woman enough."

Places college girl can see a fight happening in the next 4 weeks:
> In hometown girl's bedroom, if she's stupid enough to try and lure college boy there.
> In the parking lot of hometown girl's office job.  At closing time.
> Just outside of town, on an isolated dirt road.  After college girls texts hometown girl to meet her there to chat .... IF she's woman enough.

Great motivational factors. I especially liked #1 and #2. Hometown girl was always confident that she was the cutest around, but now college girl has made her feel insecure. Not sure of the best fight location, though.

Friday December 18th is the Fourth Sunday of Advent.  Against her own better judgment, Hometown Girl attends Sunday Mass at St Bernard of Clairvaux Parish, knowing that's where her crush and his family atrend every Sunday.

They do indeed attend, including her crush and College Girl.

At least .... it looks like College Girl.  She has the classic long, thick blonde hair which shows on her crush's Instagram page and on College Girl's Tik Tok's .... the one's which Hometown Girl has seen on co-workers' cell phones, since she herself seems to be blocked from College Girl's websites.

Hometown Girl tries to catch her crush's family in the Gathering Area after Mass, but the scene is too chaotic.  Too many seasonal Catholics attending Mass now that it's Advent.

Hometown Girl attends Sunday Mass a good 48 to 50 Sunday's per year.  During the peak of the pandemic, she watched on YouTube every week.  And once in-person Masses returned in 2021, she was back in-person.  Hometown Girl loves Mass--the music, the liturgy, the readings, the Eucharistic Prayer, Communion.

Sometimes, if she's in a state of sin, rather than taking the Host on her tongue, she'll form a cross over her chest and ask for just a blessing from the Eucharistic Minister.  All the Ministers at St Bernard understand the request, and offer the blessing willingly.  It makes Hometown Girl feel .... welcomed .... belonging.

When Hometown Girl feels in a state of sin, it's always the same two sins.
> Adultery
> Coveting a neighbor's spouse.
Hometown Girl loves sex.  Doing it, how it makes her feel connected ... alive.  Her crush isn't the only man she's had sex with .... and far from the only one she's desired it with.

She first lost track of the number of tumes she had sex.  Then, with the number of partners.  She's not proud it.  Not ashemed .... but not proud.  She's a work in progress.  She'll get there.

God lover her anyways.  She hopes, and believes.  As long as she keeps working in herself.

Hometown Girl comes home frustrated that she didn't catch up with her crush, her crush's family .... and HER .... college girl .... after Mass.
