Interesting to note, the young woman was a backup dancer for some Broadway shows -that’s where she got the nickname Broadway…. The older woman was Polish and  about 47 at the time- there was  a 20 year difference between them. The Polish woman had no real training at all while Broadway have been taken under the wing of a guy by the name of JJ and had had some extensive training…. I was totally shocked when the Polish Warrior ended up winning… She participated in a round robin tournament then matched up with several others, fought Babs and Marie of the fighting wildcats group… she did one or two private matches then returned to  Poland.
 I was sorry to see her go because pound for pound she was extremely tough  and did not want to give up….

There was a lot to enjoy in this match. The hair pulling for control and the information give above adds to the pleasure.  It’s great that a lady of that age will compete and even when her breasts escaped she just carried on.  There was a very aggressive young lady wrestled for Festelle and I believe she had toured in a musical.  There is a lot of competitive females in theatreland.

Bayguy - thanks for the background on the two ladies in this video.  I had seen other matches with Polish Warrior but didn't know her back story.  Was the brunette "trained" by the "less-than-stellar-reputation-in-this-community" JJ? I have never seen her fight before.  Did she appear in any other filmed matches?

Suffolk, Let’s just say JJ had an eye for ladies and this was the flavor of the month… To be fair to Broadway she was nice, accomplished, good conversationalist and did her best in situations which she was not always comfortable with. She was involved in the round robin match situation that was set up using some of JJ’s people and the fighting wildcats group which was based out in Ohio at the time… I believe the fighting Wildcats clips for sale store has one or two matches with Broadway  in it…   It is my understanding that Broadway had received some extensive training with the other New York  women that fought in the round robin tournament in New York…. The particular match with Broadway and Polish warrior came about because JJ was looking for someone to fund a private match between the two…. He said they had been fairly evenly matched in their training but he had done some special training with Broadway after that…he was extremely confident that Broadway would win. I talked to Polish for about 15 or 20 minutes before the match, warning  her of the potential “training” … Suggested that she stick to the basics and fight to the full extent of the rules which included crotch grabbing, hair pulling body punching etc.         Happy new year to you and all on this board
