In a region of Peru it is traditional that a festival is held which includes drinking, music, dancing, music and the main event, fighting.  It is a way of settling disputes by community members fighting each other.  We’re are only interested in the women who fight.  The fight consists of swinging clench fists and hard kicks.   There are men with length of ropes in their hands who decide when the fight should finish.   Occasionally a woman will give up.  It’s difficult to see why fights are stopped, some quickly while others see women batter each other for quite some time.   The frustration comes when things get heated,  women desperate to get at each other and fight are kept apart.  Women who fall to the floor are separated even though they are fighting.  Two interesting things I saw,  when things get tense the women start grabbing each other and pull hair.
One fight was between two women who were obviously not from the indigenous population.
The Peruvian government doesn’t like these Takanacuy meets but they have spread from the original  region to other communities and cities and I see there are occasions when Peruvian women fight Bolivian women.
So back to the original question. ‘ Exciting or Frustrating’.

Def exciting for the short time they are allowed to fight.
The concept of settling out your beef at the end of the year in publicly then hug when it's over and accepting the consequence is exciting. However, the guys with the whips intervene way too much!

I definitely think they are frustrating in the fact that just when the girls really come together and get ahold of one another, the "refs" step in and pull them apart.  I do notice that some of the more recent years of the events, they let the girls pull hair to an extent, but they don't allow them to fight on the ground.

Having said all that, I do find the fights arousing.  The fact that two girls purposely decide to fight in front of a huge crowd is in itself exciting.

I do find the fights sexually arousing as some of the women (the younger ones) are really cute. And, agree that the women would be even sexier if they were ALL barefoot.

Ago ten year maybe.Some female journalist or reporter who filmed the story decided to participate in it herself. She was fighting with one of the local ladies. There was a video on YouTube.

Exciting or frustrating ?  I don’t see it as either …. I see it as disturbing. I realize it’s a cultural ‘custom’ but it’s dumb as fuck. Putting inexperienced girls against each other in a fist fight while idiots wearing dead animals on their heads as hats watch. It’s not a fantasy like the fight clips producers put out or like the fight stories on this site , it’s real and so are the injuries some of the girls and men suffer. The ‘harmless’ fights are what you see on YT while the more serious ones are edited out.

You have to wonder in such a poor country what type of medical attention they can get and afford when something serious results ;  knocked out teeth , orbital bone and jaw fractures, broken noses , etc - especially with the men who are capable of really hurting one another and as you see , both the men and women are swinging with bad intent. 

The worst I saw in this stupid festival on YT was a girl getting her teeth knocked out … you could actually see them flying out of her mouth when the wild punch connected while the other girl smiled and did that goofy dance back to her side celebrating. It was sick seeing the other pretty girl back in the crowd , bent over holding her mouth and bleeding. When she straightened up you saw the black hole where her front teeth used to be.

If you get a hard on seeing that , you guys need some professional help.

   I think your overreacting, most of the fights end with little damage to both fighters. Very rare to see the girl fights end with major injury. It's about as bloody as a good old Crystal Mag fist fight. There are 2 fighters that make me hard, very busty and fight hard to win!

Partially agree. I'm not a fan of the fistfighting in general for the reasons you explain. That's why I said earlier they should wrestle on the ground. That would mimimze the injuries and it would be more sexually arousing if they would rip shirts.
