Why doesn't she appear on TV or in public anymore?

At age 63 Hollywood has probably moved on. Hollywood kinda treats actresses like athletes. Once they get old they move on to the next younger girl. They are always looking to get the young demographic who don't really know Morgan.

Morgan would have been s great guest on Sex In the City to catfight Kim Cattrall.

Ah, Morgan...she could have been one of the all-time greats, if only Hollywood had given her a fighting chance.  Was there anyone who so perfectly played the evil and conniving blonde bombshell?

NBC spent two seasons building up to an epic catfight between her and her character's nemesis, played by Cristina Raines, on "Flamingo Road"...and then canceled the series before they ever got to it.

Morgan vs Christina Raines-blonde vs jet-black brunette; ultimate battle of contrasts, both at the peak of their athleticism.  What an epic battle that would have been.

Didn't Morgan Fairchild play the "perfect mother" for the Cpt Awesome character on the TV show "Chuck".  I think she was a recurring character for maybe 8-10 episodes over the show's 5 year run.
