With the US v Israel match being over the ring is cleared, and we are getting ready for the final draw of the Tournament, the draw for the SEXY SEMIS, LADIES AND GEN-TLE-MEEEN!
Four teams are left standing, to be paired and engage in the last best of 5 matches, to find which two teams will clash in the best of 7 final for the championship.
The last 4 standing teams in the order of qualification are Italy, Australia, France, and the US.
First to be called back to the ring is Scarlett Johansson, along with her coach Gent.
The next to be called out is France represented by Captain Latetitia Casta, and coach Marc F
Laetitia and Scarlett give each other a dismissive short look as they take their place as per instructions in the Northern and Southern corner of the ring.
With the buzz all week being about Australia and Italy and the bookmakers having installed them as equal favourites it transpires that they have demanded simultaneous entry as no-one was prepared to back down and come in first.
The lights go out, the tannoy counts down from five, and then Carmina Burana and AC/DC's For Those About To Rock blast out in a simultaneous cacophony - at another 5 countdown on the Jumbotron, the spotlights turn to different end of the hall, as in the East Yvonne Strahovski enders accompanied by her coach Vitizeslav, and from the West comes Maria Cucinotta with her coach Dna1977.
Tv Viewers see the cameras flash briefly to Scarlett and Laetitia, both with their jaw firmly set in reaction to this childish display from the favourites. This. Is Not. The. Final. Yet.
Strtahovski and Cucinotta continue the display however when they both proceed to the centre of the ring, coming nose-to-nose and undertaking a staring contest wwhich neither breaks until their coaches come and drag them to their respective corners while the two still maintain eye contact.
The ring is let up totally, as a specially designed contraption lowers World Sexfight Confederation President Larry Flynt into the ring to conduct the draw after explaining that the two Sexy Semis will be drawn simultaneously, so that the first two teams displayed are in separate matches:
The Jumbotron, does another count down becomes a blank then becomes a blur for 10 seconds, as the first team slowly displayed:
AUSTRALIA
will be in Sexy-Semi Number One
The same sequence follows, and then appears:
THE UNITED STATES
who will be in Sexy-Semi number two.
Lights go out strobe lights swing around for a bit as a drum roll is heard, this time the Jumbotron showws a half screen with Australia already written on the top, but then the same sequence on the lower half, countdown, blank, then a 10 second blur and slowly appearing:
FRANCE
which will then be the enemy of Asutralia in our next match.
Not much fuss is made about the next draw as of course it will be Italy.
