It really was a golden age of the pocket book. With the current politically correct craze most of these books could never be published today, either by the covers or by the inner illustrations or even by the text. I own many of these books that I bought when I was 19 or 20 and one of them "The wicked, wicked women" was one of my favorites since besides a magnificent catfight between the two main characters, still describes a pitched street battle between the dancers of the two clubs .
Unfortunately in the midst of the thousands of books for my work I have no idea where they are, possibly on the top of the shelves and in a second row.
