The two combatants had already made their entrances and been anounced to the crowd. Stephanie McMahon stood in one corner in her traditional black attire. Jojo Levesque stood in the other corner in blue tights, black sports bra, and pink and black jacket. Jojo flashed a quick wink at Stephanie as she removed her jacket. They both knew the pink and black was a little dig at the McMahon family and it was intended to make Stephanie mad, which it did. They both moved to the center of the ring when they were motioned by the referee.
"I agreed to this match as a show, kind of help your career and draw a little attention. Opening old wounds doesn't help anyone." said Stephanie.
"Just reminding you that when you make mistakes you don't make small ones." said Jojo with a laugh.
"Keep running your mouth little girl, and you're going to get hurt." said Stephanie.
"If you can. How about we end this quick and not humiliate you too much." said Jojo.
The referee signaled to ring the bell and the two quickly locked together. Stephanie easily pushed her smaller opponent into the corner and a vicious smile came across her face. Stephanie took a step back, grabbed the top rope, and snapped a hard kick into Jojo's gut. Jojo's eyes widened and her body bent as all the air in her body hissed out between her lips. When Jojo tried to straighten Stephanie snapped in another kick and the smaller brunette fell to her knees wheezing and gasping for air. Stephanie grabbed two handsful of Jojo's long hair and pulled her back to her feet. Stephanie leaned in a whispered in her ear:
"It doesn't pay to insult the Queen."
Jojo screamed as Stephanie threw her across the ring by her hair. Jojo landed flat on her back and lay there trying to catch her breath as Stephanie stalked toward her, being warned by the referee as if she cared. Stephanie's smile broadened as she grabbed Jojo's hair again. Stephanie pulled Jojo to her knees, looking around at the crowd, no longer taking Jojo seriously. Jojo suddenly jerked forward and drove the crown of her head into Stephanie's gut. Stephanie jerked back and bent over with a loud:
"Oh!"
With Stephanie bent over, Jojo walked beside her, put her arm around Stephanie's neck, grapevined her leg around Stephanie's leg, then jerked back. When they hit the mat, Jojo used the bounce to roll over Stephanie's chest. Stephanie heard the referee's hand hit the mat twice and jerked over on her side with a look of surprise on her face. Stephanie rolled to her knees with an angry look on her face.
"You actually tried to pin me?" asked Stephanie angrily.
Jojo grabbed Stephanie's head and fell back, rolling Stephanie into a small package. Again Stephanie heard a two count and kicked her legs out to move her shoulders off the mat. She got to her feet with fury flashing in her baby blue eyes. Jojo looked up at her and smiled, then held up two fingers.
"Almost." said Jojo.
Stephanie lashed out with a slap that spun Jojo around on her heel. Jojo lay her hand on her cheek and looked up at Stephanie with anger on her face. Jojo raised her hand as if she were going to slap Stephanie. Stephanie raised her hand to block it, but Jojo raised the toe of her boot up into Stephanie's gut instead. Stephanie bent over with a grunt. Jojo hooked Stephanie's head again, this time she grabbed Stephanie's tights at her hip, picked her feet up off the mat less than an inch, then fell straight back, dropping Stephanie on her head. Jojo rolled to her feet as Stephanie sprawled out on the mat. Jojo walked around, picked up Stephanie's feet, stepped between Stephanie's long legs to put her foot beside Stephanie's hip, bent her legs into a figure four position, then stepped over with her other foot, rolling Stephanie over on her belly into a Sharpshooter. Stephanie shrieked in pain as Jojo squatted, bending her lower back in a way it's not supposed to bend. The referee asked Stephanie if she wanted to quit, but Stephanie clenched her teeth and shook her head. She put her hands flat down on the mat and pushed herself up, making Jojo move a little and alleviating part of the pain. With a scream of pain and frustration Stephanie pushed with her legs, throwing Jojo off balance and forward. Stephanie struggled to her feet as Jojo walked toward her.
"You know a few moves. Good for you, but you're just making things worse for yourself." said Stephanie.
"Keep saying it and you might believe it." said Jojo.
The smaller woman jumped toward Stephanie, intending to use her own body weight to knock Stephanie down again. Instead, Stephanie caught her behind the thighs, spun, and slammed her down flat on her back. Stephanie jumped back to her feet as Jojo still lay trying to catch her breath again. Stephanie pulled Jojo back up to her feet. Jojo was still a little dazed and all she could do was bend over with a groan when Stephanie kicked her in the gut. Stephanie guided Jojo's head between her knees, and chicken winged both arms.
"Awh no." groaned Jojo as she came to just in time to realize what was about to happen to her.
Stephanie jumped and planted Jojo's face in the mat with a Pedigree. Stephanie hooked Jojo's left leg and rolled over across Jojo's prone body. Jojo was too concerned about her possibly broken nose and why her ears were ringing to move as the referee counted to three. Stephanie stood up and put her foot on Jojo's chest as the referee raised her hand.
