Christina Cox got a interesting invitation. A challenge from Melinda Clarke a catfight legend. A closed gym and two women go in a ring and one leaves. She was being challenged more and this was a legend fight so she had to take it.
Melinda had heard that Christina Cox was a woman who retires other women when they fight. She broke O’Dells will. Jennifer O’Dell was a woman who Melinda always believed to be the best unknown fighter. So while she still had the ability to do so she would find out just how good Christina Cox truly was.
Christina was still friends with Gina Holden but that relationship got strained from their fight. Gina took it to her, she got hurt bad by Gina but she hurt Gina worst and won. After fighting Lisa Locerio she and Gina were able to be friends again She heard her good friend Victoria Pratt got into a fight with a mutual friend in Dina Meyer. A part of her wondered if that meant Victoria was willing to fight friends in this final fight parade.
Melinda opened a door to a little dojo “Wow look at you all ready to finally start fighting people who fought for years to get ahead”
“It’s funny how you never did once challenge me until now.”
“Why do you think that is”
“You want to be retired. You clearly never kept yourself in the shape that myself and so many others with a certain reputation did.”
“Your body shaming me.”
“No I’m stating a fact that our eyes can see. Lisa Locerio was in amazing shape, Gina Holden just tremendous conditioning. Jennifer O’Dell I mean seriously have you seen her lately. You are in great shape but not competitive shape”
“Its my skill and my fierce nature that should”
“Should what… You think after barely getting past Lisa and having Gina nearly kill me that you would worry me… No so do you want to fight if so lets fight”
Christina was up and was about to take off her shirt then nodded no. She was going to embarrass Melinda enough in the fight there was no need for the humiliation of how great her body still was.
Christina was going to humiliate her though just not like that. Melinda got up and put her fists up and Christina put her hands behind her back. “What are you doing?””
“What I want.”
Melinda threw a punch which Christina saw coming a mile away and easily dodged. The punches were so slow that Christina knew what she would do next time. So the punch came and Christina stepped forward avoiding it and hitting a counter with her shoulder to Melindas mouth.
Melinda backed up “What the fuck was that?”
“Wondered if you were so slow now that I could land that.” Christina smiled “You know I can end this when I want right? That truth has entered your brain right?”
“You better end it then because I’m getting pissed.” Melinda threw some wild punches which Christina while keeping her hands behind her back slipped and rolled then backed away from before she hit a kick to the shins putting Melinda down again
“In my prime you wouldn’t do that.” Melinda said breathing heavy as she got up
“That’s my point here. You came to fight me and I don’t think you are at a level to fight me anymore. Fifeteen years ago sure we would have torn this place up. Now…No.”
Melinda threw a big haymaker and Christina spun under and kept spinning until she was five feet away “In your prime that probably ended fights… now its so slow and so easy to spot.”
Melinda breathing got heavier as she turned to face Christina. Christina looked at her hard and got worried. Melinda was very red in the face and neck “Im going to have to do whats right.”
Melinda stepped forward and ended up with a left fist to her ear and then the right crashed into Melindas jaw knocking her out. Melinda Clarke one of the most vicious catfighters in the history of Hollywood actresses fighting fought her last fight and was destroyed
Christina simply left and as the door shut behind her she knew that she should have not have been in this spot to humiliate a true legend
