It’s pretty basic yet it is a technique r a good “tool” , yes it is a basic instinct to go for the hair, even in a fistfight the hair is still used, it is a tool in simply that as a physics rule where the head goes the body has to follow , so pulling your “rivals” hair you yank the head up and back, either side or down, getting your opponent on the ground preferably on her stomach where you can pounce on top , punch , kick so on in most cases you get a fast and easy submission, but also especially if who ever I fight is “sensitive “ to her hair pulled it is a great tool to get a submission if I get her on her the ground or knees or a painful hold and can get a deep tight to scalp grip on hair and use knuckles on scalp to do a pry pull motion you will bring tears to her eyes and a scream and in some cases she will give, if it is combined with a punch, scratch, kick, Brest hold or any other pain filled combo you can pretty much end what might be a long fight quick, I have used another’s hair to sin her and whip her to the ground so fast and hard by the time she realized what happened I was on top of her reigning blows to the point she didn’t know if she should try to get her hair free, cover her face or squirm to get free leaving any and all areas of herself open to anything I wanted to do, but the most painful hair holds are sitting on opponents back a tight wrapped around fist hair hold and pull till her head, neck and back are bent back causing added pain , if you rip a fistful out or even a healthy tuft (I call it a scalping ) but having a patch of hair torn out at the scalp is like a punch to the nose , it burns so bad often bleeds in most cases your opponent will cup her scalp again leaving her wide open to fight ending moves .
