What really happened that made Charlize Theron say no to playing in The Wonder Woman movie?
I asked a few people to write about this but no one seemed to be interested!
So I decided to do it myself!

Gal Gadot vs Charlize Theron
When Gal Gadot heard they were going to remake one of her favorites movies, she wanted to be in it. There was a cool character in the remake that she was interested to play but unfortunately for her, in the end, they went to choose another person to play the role.
She thought she was robbed of that role and the only reason they picked the other person was that she did them “some favor”. The huge successes of the movie didn’t make things better for her and made her angrier. The movie was Mad Max: Fury Road and the person that Gal hated was Charlize Theron.
A few years passed and Gal got her big break by playing as The Wonder Woman. Everything was going great until she heard that a certain person was trying to be in the movie. One person named Charlize Theron!
Gal was so pissed. Theron had already stolen the Mad Max movie from her and now she wanted to steal the spotlight from her in her biggest movie? There was no way she would allow this to happen! But Theron wasn't just going to pass the movie because Gal wanted her to! Gadot needed to do something.
She knew Charlize consider herself a big action star. She heard how Charlize was always saying things like nobody is on her lever or how she could kick anybody’s ass. So Gadot decided to resolve this by fighting Charlize Theron! She contacted Theron’s team and asked to meet with her.
Charlize thought that Gal wanted to have a normal chat with her. she was even hoping that the gorgeous star would try to “convince” her to be in the movie. So she was only too happy to say yes to the meeting.
Gal asked Charlize to come to a hotel room so they could talk in private.
“Oh. This is going to be fun. I have a good feeling about tonight” the South African Beauty told herself. Only if she knew the true intentions of the Israelis actress.
Theron wanted to look hot so she was wearing a sexy, very short skirt with a shirt that had a very low cut v neck. She was looking forward to seeing how Gal was going to dress for their meeting.
Charlize went to the hotel’s room and knocked on the door. Gal opened the door and Charlize was a little shocked as the younger woman wasn’t wearing anything special. A simple, short white top with black leggings and a flat shoe. She looked beautiful but not what Charlize anticipated.
Gal looked at Charlize and for a few seconds, thought about changing her plans as Charlize was looking so fucking hot in her clothes and it was like she was asking to be fucked! But after some thinking, she decided to stick with her plans as she asked Charlize to come in. Charlize came in and turned to Gal as she closed the door behind them.
Although Charlize was expecting more from Gal, she still liked what she was seeing. At the very least, Gal’s clothes were making it easier for Charlize to check out her amazing body and Charlize did check her out!
Charlize was surprised at how muscular Gal’s body was. She had some rock hard abs. Her arms were dangerously fit, and her thighs…
"oh they are so big and so strong-looking," Charlize thought.
Gal looked like a warrior. A gorgeous one of that. But at the same time, Charlize was getting a little jealous. She was underweight because of a role she was playing, and seeing Gal looking like that, made her miss her ‘perfect’ body even more.
After checking Gal’s body, she was about to say something when Gal talked sooner,
“Look Charlize, I don’t like overcomplicating things so I’m just going to say it. I heard you’re interested in playing a role on Wonder Woman,” Charlize liked where this was going but she wanted to play hard to get! So she stopped Gal and said,
“Yeah. I don’t know Gal. I mean I liked the first movie. and I would love to 'work' with you. But I’m not sure if this is the best move for me,”
Charlize acted so well that Gal did believe her as she said,
“Really? Then this is going to be so simple. Because I just wanted to tell you to reject the role”. Charlize was speechless! This was some unseen turn of event,
“Reject the role? What? So you don’t want me to be in the movie?!” Charlize asked as Gal immediately answered,
“Want you in my movie?! hell no! Why would I want that when I fucking hate you!”
“First of all, fuck you!” Charlize said as she took one step toward Gal. unlike Gal, she was wearing high heels so she was a couple of inches taller than Gal at the moment and was looking down at her.
“Second of all, if you just wanted to ASK me not to be in your shitty movie, why did you arrange this meeting here?”
“Because I wanted to make sure you say yes to what I WANT,” Gal said as she walked one step toward Charlize too. She clearly didn’t fear her and didn't care about how much taller Charlize was at the moment.
“And how are you going to do that?” Charlize said. She knew what Gal meant and she was ready for it.
Sure, Charlize knew she wasn’t at her best and Gal was 10 years younger. Gal was a little taller, heavier, and looked seriously strong. But she also knew this 'girl' was up against Charlize fucking Theron! She knew that 'this nobody" was nothing compared to the great Golden Goddess!
“Obviously, not how you thought I would, you pervert!” Gal answered.
“And what’s that supposed to mean?” Charlize said as she was making sure to be at her tallest self to intimidate Gal. But the answer she got from Gal showed her that Gal wasn’t scared of her at all,
“Look at the way you’re dressed, whore! I’m sure even you’re not that stupid to not understand what I mean!”
Enough was enough. Charlize was going to beat the sheet out of this fucker and would put her in her place. Charlize put her bag on the floor and swung a punch with her right hand at Gal’s face to start her nightmare.
Except, in the middle of the way, Gal brought her left hand and blocked the punch, rather easily! She then grabbed Charlize’s arm and twisted it a little harshly to put Theron in a hammerlock. Charlize almost lost her balance because of her high heels but Gal held her up and didn’t let her fall.
“See, this is why I told you to come here. I knew if I asked you nicely, you weren’t smart enough to just do what I tell you,” Gal said as she let go of her hammerlock and let Charlize go. And then said,
“But now, I’ll get to kick your ass. Then I will make you call the producers right now! And of course, I would revenge you for stealing Furiosa from me!”
Charlize took a couple of steps back as she massaged her right hand’s wrist. Ok, maybe Gal was stronger than she gave her credit for. But still, Charlize knew she could beat her. Maybe not as easily as she would like but she would still win.
“Stole the role?! I got the role because they wanted someone talented that could actually act!” Charlize told Gal and from the look on Gal’s face, she knew she was getting angry. So Charlize took that opportunity to throw a right hook at Gal and this time, Gal wasn’t ready.
The hook had quite a punch in it and it did hit Gal’s body. Gal took one step back as the punch did hurt her and she needed a few seconds to recover. On the other hand, Charlize was Wondering if the hook hurt Gal more or her hand! Gal’s abs were so fucking solid and punching them did hurt Charlize’s hand a lot. But Charlize smiled as she saw Gal took one step back. The punch did hurt Gal too.
“And how could you think you could beat me in a fight?! I’m so much stronger than you and I’ll be glad to show that to you" Charlize told Gal,
“You got the role because you slept with the producers, not because of your acting talent which you don’t have any!” Gal said with anger in her voice.
She was about to say something about kicking Charlize’s ass too but before she could, Charlize went on the attack as this time she used her strongest weapon, her legs, to kick Gal. she threw her left leg but Gal blocked it with her right leg. Charlize wanted to immediately kick Gadot again but she couldn’t because of her high heels.
“I got to lose my shoes,” she told herself. Charlize was an experienced fighter so she quickly thought of something to have two birds with one stone. She threw another kick at Gal which she blocked again but Charlize anticipated that and used her momentum to threw her other leg and this time used the heel of her shoes to hit Gal.
The kick broke her shoe's heel but it also did hit Gal’s thigh and hurt her a lot as she had to take a few steps back again. At the same time, the kick also made Charlize lose her balance which was the second bird in her plan. As she was on the floor, she started quickly removing her shoes. Gal, on the other hand, use this to work on Charlize’ mind,
“Talent my ass. You get everything by sleeping with people. I mean even with me, you thought I’m going to sleep with you! just look at how you’re dressed for a simple meeting!”
Instead of answering, Charlize decided to let her fists do the talking! She got up from the floor and was about to kick Gal again but this time, the younger girl acted first as she threw her right leg at Charlize’s thighs. Charlize used her left leg to block the kick and she did but the kick had so much power that Charlize lost her balance and she ended up on her ass.
Now, Charlize was getting worried. The kick was really powerful and it was Gal’s only attack but she was already on the floor! But she was a fighter so she got up again. Gal had a boxing stand, but now that Charlize had tasted Gal’s kicking power, she knew she had to change her tactics.
That’s why Charlize started to run at Gal as she lowered her head. Gal didn’t see this move coming so she didn’t defend it. Charlize’s shoulder hit Gal’s stomach and Charlize moved Gal a few steps as she hit the wall.
Gal let out a moan and as Charlize released her, she doubled over to catch her breath. Charlize knew this was a good chance for her and she decided to use it to show Gal how strong she was. She grabbed Gal’s ponytailed hair and pulled her head forward and then put her in a Standing Headscissors.
Gal put her hands on Charlize’s thighs to open them so she could get free. Charlize wanted to hold Gal there as much as possible or to even win the fight right there. But to her surprise, Gal’s strong hands were opening her legs. So she had to act quickly.
She started by landing a few punches on Gal’s body and then leaned forward to wrap her hands around her waist so she could lift her. Charlize didn’t manage to do it on her first try. But at her second try, she finally managed to scoop Gal Gadot off her feet and put her on her right shoulder. Theron felt good about herself. She was holding the Wonder Woman over her shoulder!
"Damn girl! you're so strong!" Charlize told herself, "Not at my best but I'm still kicking her ass…"
But as Charlize was daydreaming, Gal slipped out of her hold and landed behind Theron. Charlize was shocked and slow to react. As she was about to turn around, she felt two very strong hands around her waist. Gal then said,
“Ok, I let you have your fun. Now let me show you who is stronger,” as she started to squeeze Charlize’s body. Gal’s hands were really strong and just a couple of seconds was enough to make Charlize letting out a loud cry of pain.
“uggggghhhh…nooooo”
Gal smiled and then showed Charlize her strength as she lifted Charlize Theron off her feet and put her in a reverse bearhug. To add insult to the pain, Gat started to toss Theron around like a rag doll! Charlize tried to remove Gal’s hands but she couldn’t budge them no matter how much she tried. Gal was crushing her and there was nothing she could do.
At that moment, she realized she was going to lose! it wasn’t just about the bearhug. God knows this wasn’t the first time she was put into one. But it was about how the fight was going. Even when she was the one hitting Gal, she was getting more pain than she was giving!
Or the way Gal was holding her up so easily and shaking her like she weighed nothing. Or the fact that she couldn’t move Gal's hands even one inch. But above all, it was about the pain she was feeling. Gal was really hurting her. She now knew Gal Gadot was much stronger than her. at least at the moment. Only if they could fight a year sooner when Charlize was at her best but they weren't.
They were fighting at a time when Gal was at the top of her game. She was constantly training, especially for the Wonder Woman role. in fact, she was training so hard that she felt like the Wonder Woman and she was more than proving it to Charlize.
Charlize thought about surrendering and begging Gal to let her go because she was in so much pain but she didn’t want to give Gal the satisfaction. Fortunately for her, that wasn’t necessary as Gal did let her go and Charlize fell to the floor.
Charlize tried to put some space between her and Gal as she crawled on the floor and moved away,
“Seriously, not two minutes into it and you’re already running away?!” Gal said as she laughed at her. she then walked toward the older woman but as Theron saw her, she raised her hand and said,
“Wait...just…give me a minute…” Charlize hated herself for saying that because it was like she was begging. But she needed to rest so she had to say it. Gal answered,
“Oh, Charlize. I would but we both know we can wait until tomorrow and still, I would kick your ass. because you are just an old, pathetic little bitch!” the amount of hatred Gal had for Charlize, scared the older woman. She knew the taller woman could do whatever she wanted to her and she couldn’t do anything to stop it.
Gal reached Charlize and bent down to grab her. Charlize knew she didn’t have a chance against her at the moment but that didn’t mean she had to suffer more! So as Gal was in that vulnerable position, Charlize threw her leg and kicked Gal’s leg. Gadot didn’t expect any more resistance from Charlize and she was letting her gourd down and paid the price for it as she fell to the floor.
Charlize knew she had to escape now. So she got up and ran as fast as she could which wasn't very fast because she was hurt. Not only she was strong, but Gal was also very flexible and she showed that as she did a quick kip-up to get to her feet. She ran toward Charlize and as she was about to unlock the door, Gal got to her and grabbed her hair to pull her back and said,
“You may not believe it but I felt sorry for you and wanted to let you go. But you had to show how stupid you are and now I have to hurt you more!” Charlize wanted to say she’s sorry but before she could, Gal turned her around and put her in another bearhug. But this time face to face so they could see each other.
“nooo… not again…. please” Charlize pleaded as the stronger woman hoisted her off her feet again.
Gal held a firm grip on Charlize’s waist for a few seconds. She wasn’t using all of her considerable strength but still, the pressure was too much for Charlize as she was moaning.
“Ohhhhhh…. pleeeease”
Gal knew she could have anything from Charlize now. But she wanted to play with her a little more. So she first lifted Charlize a little higher and then dropped to one knee and smashed Charlize’s crotch onto her knee.
Charlize almost passed out from the pain but fortunately for Gal, she didn’t. Now Charlize had to suffer more at the hands of this woman that hated her and unfortunately for Charlize, was very strong!
After the powerful atomic drop, Gal didn’t move and held Charlize in her arms and on her knee. She knew Charlize was almost out and didn’t want her to pass out. So she gave her a minute to rest.
But Charlize’s break was soon over as Gal stand up and brought her up with her. Gal wanted to torture Charlize in so many ways but she knew Theron couldn’t take much more so Gal decided to do the simple thing, meaning another crushing bearhug!
Gadot wrapped her arms tightly around Theron’s midsection as she applied pressure on the limp body of her opponent. But to Gal’s disappointment, Charlize’s eyes were rolling back in her head.
So as Charlize was about to pass out in her arms, Gal loosened her grip a little to talk to the older woman, but before her, Charlize told her what she wanted to her,
“I give up! please… Gal … I can’t... breathe…” Charlize said with her semi-closed eyes as she begged the stronger beauty to let her go.
“I’ll let you go but before that, tell me, Charlize. Do you want to be in the next Wonder Woman movie?” Gal asked with a smile on her face and Charlize was quick to answer,
“yes…. I mean noooo… noooo…. I don’t want to…pleaseee”
“So you’re going to reject the role?”
“yes…. I’ll do it… just please…it hurttttts” Charlize said with her eyes full of tears.
“So did you learn your lesson?”
“yessss… that movie…it’s for you…pleassseee...you're crushing meee”
Gal loosened her grip more which made Charlize happy but then she asked,
“Oh, and Charlize…open your eyes and tell me, who is stronger?” Gal demanded and Charlize did as she was told and opened her eyes fully and said,
“You are…Gal, you are…so much stronger...pleaseeee…you're killlling me”
“Is that so?” and as if she needed to remind her again, she squeezed her one more time.
Even crying was hurting Charlize. so she put everything in her next answer in the hope of Gal letting her go,
“yesss…you are so strongggg,,,, and you are more...beautiful...and you're the better woman...more woman than I'll ever be…. I’m…nothing compares to you…pleaseeee...have mercy…on your bitch”
“good answer Charlize. Now, how about your talent?”
“noooo… I don’t have it…you’re...you're the best…I’m the worst actress… pleaseeee… let me goooo”
“You know, I wanted to ask you to call them in front of me but I’m sure that’s not necessary now and you will do it on your own…” before she could say more, Charlize answered,
“yes… I swear to god…pleaaase just let me goooo…. I’ll say…. whatever you want…just pleassee...”
The look in Charlize’s eyes was enough for Gal to believe Charlize was saying the truth. No one was that good of an actor to fake having that much fear and pain in her eyes as Charlize had at that moment.
So finally, Gal let go of her and Charlize dropped on the floor. Gadot then used her leg to push Charlize toward the door as she ordered her,
“Now get the fuck out of here. Go do what I told you to do,”.
No matter how much it was hard for her, Charlize managed to get on her feet as she said,
“yes… yes…I will…I promise” and then turned around to pick up her Bag and left Gal’s room.
A few hours later, Gadot got a call from one of the producers. he told her that Charlize had called her to say for some 'personal reasons', she couldn’t be in the movie.
“No, really? I'm sorry to hear that” Gal replied with a devilish smile!
