Just putting this here for posterity’s sake - a true story - as several people on the Internet have expressed an interest in hearing more.  I’m on VK (username = Xan Aduk) and the quote on my profile reads: “"This is it, babe. You have to hurt her, or she's going to hurt you. Make her cry for me."  The kicker is that I actually got to say this - a LONG time ago - when the Internet was young and me and a gf thought we would give this thing a go. Didn't last long, but was a LOT of fun while it did!

Part 1:

This is how it happened.  It’s somewhere in the late 90s, probably about 1997; I’ve just discovered Barb’s page on the Internet.  At the time it was THE place for catfight afficionados of both sexes.  Couldn’t believe there was such a scene.  My gf at the time, Rachel (not her real name but that’s what I’ll call her here), was intrigued by it, especially when I showed her some of the videos I had purchased from DWW.  I never really thought I would be able to persuade her to even consider doing this for my entertainment.  I will never know whether she offered to put herself up for a match because she knew it turned me on, or because she genuinely wanted to step outside her comfort zone and test herself.  It was probably a mixture of both.  She was 27, 5’9” and approx 125lbs (57kg).  Sporty, gymnastic, athletic BUT definitely not someone you would think of as a fighter.  She was a ‘nice’, respectable, girl-next-door uni graduate in the first stages of a professional career.  Nicely spoken and had never been in a fight in her life.

I can’t even remember how and where we both agreed to see if we could fix her up a match.  There was a website called Excite that had ‘interest groups’ and sure enough, we were able to identify a few potential opponents. Some of the profiles were obviously guys pretending to be girls, or were soon rumbled to be, but we did manage to locate a few genuine ‘possibles’.  Back in those days, some people really did arrange matches online.  We were looking for a nice ‘friendly’ wrestling match for a gentle intro but for all kinds of reasons (age, weight, location) we couldn’t find anyone who exactly fitted our idea of the ideal opponent.
We did find one girl who ticked nearly every box: Laura.  She was a 21 year old College student who lived reasonably near  – we were in south of UK, and she was in Bracknell or Basingstoke (can’t remember which), which is a town just to the west of London and about 50 miles from us.  Her weight/height stats made her a good match, and she had apparently never had an arranged match before – although she implied that she may have been in one or two more spontaneous fights.  She had a bf who had also discovered Barb’s site and they had been looking online for someone, just like we had. The only point of difference was that she wanted a catfight rather than a wrestling match. To my surprise, Rachel readily accepted to the idea of a catfight.

No video calls or Skypes back in those days, so we exchanged photos of the girls (alongside their respective male partners) together with written challenges from both. I still have the photos, though obviously not for public consumption. Rachel wrote on hers ‘Can’t wait to get to grips with you, Laura!’.  The sign that came back from Laura said ‘Let’s put on a show for these guys. Only one winner’, (with a smiley face next to it).  She seemed ‘nice’ enough, even if her communications may have had a bit of an edge to them

Anyway, the match was set for a wintry Friday evening, at the student house they lived in. Rules were discussed between the guys by e-mail before the day of the match agreed to by the girls.  It was something like this:
-   3 minute rounds with 5 minute intervals
-   Catfight rules:  hairpulling, slapping (including to face), kicking allowed; wrestling holds allowed but no throttling or joint locks.  No punching, scratching or attacks to genital regions
-   Trash-talking permitted
-   Winner to be decided by submissions or a retirement.  Best of at least 7 subs, with a winning margin of two subs required for victory.

We weren’t rich by any means, but I and the other guy each put up £100 to make a £200 prize-pot.  Winner takes all. Both girls agreed to wear leotards for the contest.
Between making contact and the day of the match, the girls exchanged a few messages with each other over Internet chat, but there wasn’t much to it.  Me and the other guy spent a lot more time speculating together about how the match would go. We were both understandably excited, and we both fancied our women to win.  He seemed a bit more confidenet than me, but I thought Rachel’s sporty background (she was into swimming, netball, dance, gymnastics) would give her a bit of an edge, certainly when it came to stamina. We also decided, from the point of ‘atmosphere’, not to let the girls meet each other until they were fully=attired and ready to fight.

The couple of weeks before the match were fun.  As well as discussing the match and what tactics Rachel should use, we also had several sessions where I taught her a few basic wrestling holds (grapevines, pins, camel clutches) and techniques (e.g how to try to unsaddle an opponent sitting astride you).  Rachel was a quick learner.
So the day arrived.  We turned up at their student house at about 7pm and the guy ushered us in.  Laura was in one of the bedrooms getting ready and that’s when he said that, as well as him, the other couple in the house wanted to watch too if that was OK.  We were a bit bounced in to it, but we agreed, and we were shown into a large double bedroom where this other couple were sitting on a bed.  They were clearly also students and were there to support their friend but we were OK with it.  They got up and left the room so that Rachel could change into her leotard.

At that point it all began to feel very real.

Wow this is excellent. What colour was Rachel and Laura's hair? Must have been amazing.
