Fighting Dolls changes
« on: May 04, 2022, 06:56:46 PM »
Recently there has been a number of changes made to the Fighting Dolls website. One of them I was really excited about is that they now offer single video downloads for just a little over $10 USD in my opinion this is a GREAT idea!...
NOW HERE IS WHERE THEY FAILED  >:(
They've also taken away the option to preview trailers AND to see more than 4 still images of their fights (the 4 you see are just of the introductions no less)  UNLESS YOU PAY! I understand it's their right to try to squeeze every dollar they can out of people and I'm using my right to not pay for that, to each it's own but what sucks is now you have absolutely no way to get a good idea of what you're purchasing! The still shot's are HORRIBLY vague, and so are the video descriptions so now you just have to keep your fingers crossed that you pick a winner.... that is unless you pay the monthly membership fee! >:(
FD has been my go to site for YEARS I have a majority of their catalog despite their very questionable customer service and the fact they censor even the most minut criticism on their forms and video comments I STILL stuck with them because IMO they're the best and most consistent catfight creators out not to mention there Catfights are getting increasingly better production wise and fighting quality wise.

ya really odd choice you would think with the one off purchasing ability now they would offer even more previews of what theyre selling.  The token system i find to be too restrictive, I think I would end buying more over a year if it didnt exist since I would be able to get right away the video Id want instead of waiting them to compile up to make it worthwhile to buy the tokens

The token system is good for buying in bulk. Because of the token system it made it way more easier and definitely cheaper for me to build the large FD collection that I have not to mention over the past 5 or so years the amount of tokens used to purchase a video has dropped. Older FD videos go from 4 to 6 tokens regularly but newer videos go from 1 to 3 that's allows you to download a ton of videos depending on the token package you get. The main reason I don't have a lot of the older videos is because of the high token price I'd rather buy a bunch of videos for between 1-3 tokens than 1 or 2 videos at 4-6, and with the single video purchase option that really helped with that.

The least they could do is pick better still shot's from the fights to spark interest but they've decided to put anything worthwhile behind a pay wall. There's literally no way of knowing the quality of fight you're getting, the only thing you could do is have prior knowledge of the girls involved and hope that they deliver the same performances that they did in previous fights you may have liked. This decision has REALLY pissed me off for some reason, as if it was a personal decision made by them to piss me off lol

It doesn't seem like it anymore. I made a request when Bianca was a guest there last year and they never responded.

They also eliminated their message board a few months back so you can't really communicate anymore. It was actually pretty cool because fighters would make comments, I remember Edita answering questions about her matches. Now you can only comment under the videos you buy.

I had an issue once with a  premium quality video being standard quality size after downloading it and they responded right away fixing the problem. So, I can't argue with their customer service, but like others have mentioned the token system sucks and buying videos a la carte with only 4 screenshots and barely a description sucks.

As much as I hate that company right now you do have a bit of information incorrect. Their forum section is still there you just have to log in in order to be able to select it apparently. Why that is?... I don't know it seems to be just another dumb decision in a long line of misguided recent dumb decisions >:(

I fully agree with Jaybee.  And I will add that you can't  even log in, unless you purchase a video.   Sorry,  but Foxy Combat  is still one up on Dolls in all except fight intensity.
