Along with the return of founding member, our sweet angel Niloo, I am announcing our public room is being activated again effective this morning, with 2 members already back in place.
As we rise, the idea behind our clique will undergo some changes. The first change comes from the idea that standards matter. You don't have to be a member of a clique to be a decent person who is into the ideas and fantasies of this website. The second principle is clique loyalty sometimes goes way too far and therefore, no member of any other clique will be allowed back into our room. While all of us do have friendships with members of cliques, and those should be cultivated and nurtured each and everyday, those will be thought of as personal, and having nothing to do with the room.
So here are the following announcements.
The VF clique is now governed by a board of directors and any new members need a majority of the board to be let in. All major policy issues now need majority vote. Security is in place that this policy is enforced.
The VF clique is looking for honored guests who have only the interest of entertaining their own thoughts on the genre we all came here to play in to begin with. Your individuality will be respected and you will not be pressured to think a certain way or act a certain way simply bc you are in our room. Disrespecting that principle is what this turned into a mess in the first place. Any members who follow the sport of professional hockey will understand the analogy of "Third man in", which here turns into 4th, 5th, 6th and on and on and on at nauseam.
The VF clique no longer engages in discussion of any issue brought up by people deemed by the board to be classified as one of the most despicable amongst us and their ilk. Your post will be answered by...As one of the most despicable and their ilk, VF takes the position your standards of conduct are far too low for us to reply. Have a nice day. Repeated harassing posts and anything else determined to be inappropriate, will be reported to the people who are responsible for FCF rules being followed, in the most immediate way possible. I would also remind the community of the posts previously written on the pinned threads under this forum.
Except in very rare cases when security issues arise, the VF sisterhood will no longer have a presence in any room run by a clique mentality, either rooms by clique name or generic. VF will enthusiastically participate in fighting rooms set up for that purpose.
The VF sisterhood hopes these policies will bring about a new beginning and change in our room as well as be a model for other rooms to ostracize it's despicable members and rid the community of this curse. We strive to spend far more time engaging in the activities we came here for, rather than engaging in childish banter for no other reason that to attack people on the basis of the color of their skin, the religion they practice and where God chose to bring them to this earth.
