A prestigious private school determines the issue of which of its untenured teachers competing for the same position will get the job by having them battle for it fight club style in the school's break room. The movie is set during the first day of a new school year. The teachers and administrators have gathered in the break room to watch two fights.
Nobody cares about the first bout since it involves two male teachers. The second fight is noteworthy because both combatants are women. One is played by Julia Hourahine, a new teacher. Her opponent is uncredited or not properly identified with her character known as "Miss Baker." The ladies change from proper school attire to outfits more suitable for mixed martial arts competition, including regulation MMA gloves. The catfight is interesting because it pits a puncher, Miss Hourahine, against a kickboxer, Miss Baker. Miss Baker secures the early advantage by nailing her foe with a plethora of kicks. But Julia rallies and starts scoring with a series of effective punches. The battle of contrasting styles eventually leads to one of the combatants hitting the deck to the thunderous applause of the spectators. The winner gets to fill the disputed teaching position and the loser gets fired.
This is a really good chick fight, with excellent catfight choreography and splendid action. I give the bout a solid rating of well above average. You can watch the ladies go toe-to-toe by clicking the following link The action heats up at the 10:20 mark.
