A sequel (or a prequel?) to $600 Wager

The $600 Wager is fairly iconic among many catfight fans (myself very much included) for a variety of reasons. Sure, both the production value and the fashion styles are decades out of date (which actually adds some charm imo) - but the undeniable sexiness of the concept and the two women involved has made it a well-regarded classic for so many of us. (  https://spankbang.com/7e1ci/video/wives+catfight+for+cash+digitally+upgraded )

I only just recently realized that the same two women - porn-star Sharon Kane and "Suzie" - also faced each other in a video released around the same time called BACKYARD BASH.  Once again the production quality is pretty rough and the set-up and pay-off is a bit sillier this time, but once again I found the action between the two women to be highly arousing.  For me it's not that the action is necessarily "real" - but that both women are clearly highly spirited and motivated, and are giving fans of apartment-style fantasy bouts the exact visuals and moments that they know will trigger a reaction.

It's easy to think of this encounter happening within months before/after the events of $600 wager not only because it's the same women, but they're using the same names AND Suzie is still in a relationship with the same goofy (but incredibly lucky) guy. Which also makes me wonder if other classic 80's videos were in conversation with each other.

Forget the MCU and please tell me more about the shared California Wildcats universe.

The quality of the original clip, particularly the footage from the 2nd camera, was very low grade so the end result isn't quite as impressive as other experiments I've conducted - but follow the link below to check out a classic 80's video upscaled and remastered: https://spankbang.com/7lv36/video/80+s+vhs+breast+biting+leg+locking+trash+talking+catfight

(Like with $600 wager I chose not to upscale/upload the lengthy set-up before the primary action only because the rendering process is very time-consuming - but you can find the original clips online in their lower-rez versions  if you're curious)

A great scripted classic catfight. The scenario and the battle was convincing. The lingerie and the betting husbands added a nice touch. A fantastic fantasy of having girfriends battling it out for pride and money.

Their production No. are CW023 and CW021, very close. But I'm not sure about their relationship.

There was a time when no one produced a better scripted catfight that California Wildcats.

I can remember buying VHS tapes from them at $100 a pop and we are talking back in the 80s when a $100 was real money (catfight = addiction).

I can remember the owners doing an interview on some talk show where they said they were making 1 million dollars a year (again amazing money back in the 80s).

The Internet changed many things.  I sure many producers just wish they could get $100 a clip now.

I don't know if we're talking about the same talk show, but I do remember a daytime talk show (Sally Jesse maybe?) that featured Candy and other catfight performers/producers -- complete with a brief taste of scenario style fighting in front of the audience.  Haven't thought about that clip in decades but wonder if anyone else remembers more?

This is also a great opportunity for me to give kudos to the hero who is regularly uploading wrestling/fight scenes from broadcast tv shows and movies from the early 80s to Youtube -  https://www.youtube.com/@The_World_Famous_Pom_Pom - it's bringing back many memories from an adolescence spent flipping channels and seeking out this kind of stimulation.  You kids today with your websites and your broadband!  In my day you had to suffer through a full hour of something called "JJ Starbuck" just for a quick fix: https://youtu.be/y4s6JEr2CYk

You're so right about Pom Pom!  Speaking of him (I guess it's a him), the Sally Jesse Rafael show that you mention above is in his playlist / homepage, whatever.

$600 Wager is my all-time favorite premise for a video, and the actors did an excellent job. I wish someone would remake this story with modern-day talented (acting ability + beauty) actors, but I'm not sure what company has the talent to do it justice.

I may have mentioned this before, but ultimately I think the current economics of fetish video production make it difficult to recreate $600 Wager or other multiple person scenarios for current producers.  Back when CW could charge $100 per tape they could justify 4 people on camera and the more elaborate set-ups, now any producer or performer has to generate tremendously more content with much more limited resources to make the math work -- knowing that much of what they release into the wild is still gonna be posted/traded for free online anyway.

Again, while no one would call $600 Wager elaborate by any stretch the production likely required at least 6 people -- two guys playing husbands, two women wrestling, two people running cameras.  Most videos on Clips4Sale are in the $15-$25 range and produced by solo owners or couples  - so it's tricky, but not entirely out of the realm of possibility.  Key is that if someone does make such a video it's up us to actually buy the thing so they make more like it.
