Feeling like Jerry's passing at 79 deserves acknowledgement on here.  He had good instincts for the conflict -> buildup -> trashtalk -> confrontation -> go time -> go-again  -> who-won? stages of a catty battle.

It was crap, staged TV, but I enjoyed when the two women, usually in long pants & a blouse took their shoes off & went at each other. It was somewhat arousing if the women were somewhat hot.

I think most of the confrontations were staged by the participants.  Obviously the Springer show was looking for women that might end up fighting, so people created back stories that got them their 15 minutes.  Then they acted the fight.  But I think once the fake fight started a lot of times it got real.  Hard for amateurs to fake punches long without a few landing.  The Amazing thing I just heard with this is at one time Springer's Show was more popular than Oprah's.  We are definitely not alone, people!!!
