<> Their actresses had bona fide movie-star looks,....

<> .....and bona fide TV-character actress acting chops (not intended as a backhand compliment).

<> Just enough of a storyline.

<> Lengthy fights.....

<> ..... with both actresses contorting themselves into unladylike positions.....

<> ......and spewing unladylike vitriol.

<> Sssooo many blondes....

<> ..... a 4 Violent Grudge fights.

Big Cali Supreme fan here! Roni, Shari, and Debbie were my favorites! I've got a ton of CS matches in my collection and I'd have more but a lot of the stuff on their website is compilation sets and some of the matches are all cut up. They release single matches from time to time plus Rockin-Roxanne has a good collection to pull from, that's the route I usually go.

Are you sure you're not talking about California Wildcats?
California Supreme (calisupreme) didn't have many storyline based fights but they did have a lot of grudge matches Roni vs Debbie being one of my favorites! Those two actually have a storyline based catfight that was GREAT! I wonder what they are like now ???

California Supreme  was my first big venture into movies and picture sets in the late 70's and 80's. I even bought 8mm reel movies from them. WOW that seems ancient now. I purchased so much material that I had Ron Devorkin's phone number. I called him a couple times too ( expensive calls then: from Phila. to Calif. pre cell phone days)  He wanted my wife to come out for a few matches, never happened but that's a story for another time.

Indeed, I was confused.  Revised corrected list, this time for California Supreme.

<1> Thoughtful pairing of opponents:  skilled vs skilled, rookies vs rookies, MILFs vs MILFs.

<2> Good pre-fight interviews....

<3> .....especially one with Alyssa, where she talks about her powderpuff football career.

<4> Girls were usually topless.

<5> Pam Manning was great to watch.  Great right hook....

<6> .....but also a glass jaw, so.....

<7> .... so her fights were back-and-forth....

<8> .....had frequent knockdowns.....

<9> .....and usually ended in tears.

<10> Some of the fights were marathons.  Only a couple of times did girls quit.

This goes way back for me  ... probably way before most of you.

Cal Supreme was the first place I ordered anything ... and it was one of their black and white photo sheets. This was even before VHS ... so if you were going to see it as a movie , you were using a movie projector !!  Saw their ad in the back of a wrestling magazine which was about all you could go to searching for this stuff.

Every time I buy a new clip I always think  about how spoiled we've become and how easy we have it now compared to then.

Wow that’s incredible! I found his social media but he hasn’t accepted my request. Most likely to put those wrestling days behind him and focus on his family. But I wonder…

CalSupreme.tv is still active and I wonder if they still pay the girls from all the subscribers and dvd’s being sold:)

What I clearly remember was that Ron often engaged in dialogue with fighters while the bout was actually in progress. The conversation wasn't always welcome - witness Robin's glare as Ron tried to talk to her during a break between rounds in a boxing match.
