Thanks again to all the great comments. Hope you guys are all in form for next round, the last round. This set featured very evenly matched sex symbols with four of the eight fights being won by a vote and one of them by two votes. But it also featured the biggest beat down of the round.
Martha Hyer 44 vs Joi Lansing 43 {Pundits 3-2}
The pundits favored Martha by a bit. This fight was a ferocious hairpulling battle as suggested by several. Vasago’s description was spot on as Joi pulled out lots of hair before Martha got her down. Even then Martha was barely able to overcome Joi.
GF: Martha, the pundits favored you but not by a lot. You were barely able to beat Joi and almost lost at the last second. Any comments?
Martha Hyer: [Who knew that a skinny, weak bitch like that could fight so hard? She’s a slut and a whore and I am glad I finally ripped ou most of her hair.]
GF: Joi, those are strong words from Martha. How do you respond?
Joi Lansing: Martha is one of those stuck up bitches who had it easy all her life and thinks she is better than the rest of us. I only wish I had pulled her pussy hair out so she couldn’t do that strutting when she walks.
Tina Louise 45 vs Gina Lollobrigida 43: {Pundits 4-1}
The pundits strongly favored Tina with only Vasago thinking that Gina could pound her belly soft. Turns out Gina was the one whose belly suffered the most as Tina barely out belly punched her.
GF: Tina, the little Italian gave yo all you cold handle. I see you stomach is all puffy and bruised. Why did you fight her that way?
Tina Louise: To prove my stomach is harder and flatter than her pudgy one. I knew I could out slug her in the gut. What I didn’t expect was how much fat padding she had that absorbed my hard blows. She also got me as my hard stomach took a lot of pain.
GF: Gina, for a little one you pack a lot of wallop. Did you think you had her?
Gina Lollobrigida: WHAT”S THIS? MY STOMACH IS SOFTER THAN HERS? NO WAY!!!! She just had a longer reach, that’s all. Next time I scratch her eyes out instead.
Mamie Van Doren 50 vs Honor Blackman 35 {Pundits 2-3}
The pundits were split slightly in favor of Honor. Realisticman foresaw Mamie’s tactic of going for Honor’s face. I thought that was a no no in these star fights and maybe did Honor as she just wasn’t prepared for it. An easy win for mamie.
GF: Mamie, weren’t the tactics you used on Honor against the rules or at least bent them?
Mamie Van Doren: I agree with Joi, this phony bitches that think they are better than the rest of us need to be taught a lesson. I did that. If she can’t stand a tiny bit of scratching and some hairpulling then she doesn’t belong here. PERIOD Did she think I was going to play footsy with her?
GF: Honor, dressed in your black pans and jacket you looked ready to toss Mamie around like a Pussy Galore. She beat you badly. How do you explain that?
Honor Blackman: I was wondering how she won so many fights. Look at her – she is nothing but a runty soft floozy blonde. I found out how. SHE CHEATS! I don’t want to talk about it any longer. ..
Mitzi Gaynor 44 vs Barbara Eden 43 {Pundits 5-0 }
Even thought the pundits were unanimous for Mitzi, Barbara gave Mitzi a run for her money. It was another on the fights decided by the narrowest o margins. Byline had great insight that Barbara would try and limit to fight to the diving board when it would be mainly a hairpulling fight, something she had a good chance of winning. Once they fell in the water Mitzi was barely able to hold Barbara under to force a submission.
GF: Mitzi, according to the pundits this should have been a blow out. Yet you barely beat Barbara. Was this a moral defeat fro you and a moral victory for her?
Mitzi Gaynor: [A victory is a victory. She’s not the dumb blonde she looks like. I couldn’t stand up and use my legs against her on the board. And sche can pull hair and slap, make no bones about that. Turns out she is even a good swimmer so I had more trouble than I expected in the water with her. Besides, she’s so sweet I took it easy on her. But I won, that’s all that matters.]
GF: Barbara, are you proud you claim close to beating Mitzi who most thought would beat you easily?
Barbara Eden: I don’t look at it that way. She isn’t al that much better than me. Yeah, she’s got strong legs but not much else. I think if we had another catfight I would win.
Lisa Gaye 22 vs Diana Dors 61 {Pundits 1-4}
Most of the pundits though it would be an easy win for Diana and it was as she gave Lisa the worst beating of the round. Only barbosa thought Lisa would out hairpull Diana. Diana wasted little time in getting Lisa down where she could smack the living daylights out of her. It wasn’t pretty unless you like seeing a big blonde demolish a smaller brunette.
GF: Lisa, you received the worst beating of anyone. How are you doing now?
Lisa Gaye: [Sorry, I can’t talk too well. my whole face is swollen, even my tongue. Diana is not only big, but she is strong and MEAN. Glad this fight is over.]
GF: Diana, you certainly didn’t show Lisa any mercy. What did you give her such a bad bating?
Diana Dors: I wanted to show barbosa that us blondes are as tough as they come. Also it is a matter of money. Each place I move up earns me more prize money. Only one fight left so I have to win them by as much as possible.
Bettie Page 43 vs Jane Russell 44 {Pundits 1-4 }
Another one point squeaker when Jane was heavily favored. Jane is mean and her size and strength were considered too much for Bettie. Only Vasago thought Betie had the stronger thighs that would crush Jane. Instead Jane won a double scissors contest but by a cxnt hair.
GF: Bettie, you can out very aggressively and tried to rip Jane’s hair out but couldn’t get the submission. You barely lost so how would you fight her next time.
Bettie Page: [easy. Kick her in the cxnt right away. Then stomp on her breasts when she goes down. Getting involved in a hairpulling fight with her allowed her to use her size and get me down. Next time I’ll make sure she isn’t capable of sex for a month.]
GF: Jane, once you got Bettie down you pretty much had her where you wanted her. But then you allowed for a double scissors and she almost out squeezed you. Why did you do that?
Jane Russell: It was a matter of pride. Once I heard that idiot Vasago say Bettie had the stronger thighs I had to prove him wrong. He is supposed to be a catfight expert but sometimes he is dead wrong.
Angie Dickinson 53 vs Ava Gardner 33{Pundits 4-1}
This fight was lopsided and an easy win for Angie as predicted by the pundits with only barbosa being the odd man out. Apparently Ava’s greater fighting experience was not enough to overcome Angie’s greater physical abilities. As byline described it Angie actually outsmarted Ava by using her legs for bait and then taking her down with a headlock. But it the end Angie couldn’t resist featuring her legs. Angie let Ava up only long enough to use high flying kicks to knock her down again where she put on a display of crushing display of power to give Ava the 5th worst beat down of the round.
GF: Angie, a pretty easy win for you. What motivated you?
Angie Dickinson: [To stay in the top half of the rankings. I am just ahead of Martha and just behind Gina and Rhonda. I need to win and win big to move up or at least stay where I am.]
GF: Ava, it’s been a long tournament. Has your age caused you to slow down? I would have thought you would have given Angie a real fight.
Ava Gardner: I think the phrase is “Youth is wasted on the young.” I am in great shape and age has nothing to do with it. Angie suckered me into going for her legs> People better be aware she has strong biceps also. I won’t be so stupid next time and will tie those legs she is so proud of up in knots with my own superior legs.
Yvonne Craig 44 vs Esther Williams 43 {Pundits 2-3}
Another one point fight with a slight favoring by the pundits for Esther. Goldenerafan even predicted a lop sided win for Esther. It might have been had Esther been able to get the arm locks, leg locks, and airplane spin on Yvonne. But the younger Yvonne avoided those and matched Esther’s strong legs, leg for leg until Esther tired. The two ended up in a double figure-four leglock with the fresher Yvonne barely able to get Esther to submit.
GF: Yvonne, most predictors saw this as a contest of strong legs. Esther has longer ones and some said more powerful fro swimming. You ended up winning the leg battle. Why?
Yvonne Craig: [How many times do you have to hear us other women say that Esther is living on her laurels. She is no longer the athlete she once was and is old to boot. My legs are sexier and stronger. That was proven tonight.]
GF: Esther, how does it feel to lose a battle of the legs?
Esther Williams: I don’t admit her legs are sexier or stronger than mine. I simple got a cramp. It happens. I was beating her until then. I applied so much pressure I caused my own cramp. You might say I beat myself/
