The words fell into a silence encapsulated by the frustration and anger of that WhatsApp chat. The other person did not know how to respond or understand how to respond because she did not know what had happened.

Martina replied in a mocking tone; she did not want to hear the knife turn in the wound. Still, her mind kept recalling those moments when she had gotten out of the game.

The day before "Another school?"

The name seemed to be more ominous than what it was, a simple battle between schools in private, with a select few spectators, to find the two schools that would participate in the ICF.
The previous edition had been won by Jessica's school, guaranteeing assured participation. Martina would then have to face the captain of the new school to retain participation.
"It will be a good warm-up before we destroy that black-haired bitch," smiled the blonde.
