“Please just…give it back. I won’t tell anyone, I swear!” Sara pleaded. She stared at the book, it was the most valuable thing in the world to her. A signed copy of a book from her favorite author. She’d begged her mom to take her to the signing, and had stood in line for hours. In the end, it had all been worth it.
Now, that book was about two feet away from being dumped into a toilet bowl.
“I don’t even know why you care about this stupid thing.” Taylor smiled at her, a smile that looked all too dangerous. Taylor pulled the book back from the brink, opening it and making a show of flipping it over and reading through it. “All I see is romance garbage. Maybe it’s one of those smutty books? Always did think you were a freak!”
“No way. Something like that sounds way too fun for Sara to be into it. It’s probably some boring bullshit nobody else cares about.” Bella laughed.
Sara tried to step past her, but Bella was a little taller than her, and definitely a lot stronger. She held out an arm, and Sara knew she wasn’t about to get past the woman.
“Why…what do you want from me?!” She pleaded. She knew she wasn’t about to get an answer, she never did. Taylor and Bella had taken an “interest” in her ever since the year started. That interest had started off from mean looks and weird comments but now it was much, much worse.
“Why the hell do you care so much? You can just buy a new one, this one isn’t so special anyway.” Taylor said with a sigh. That bitch wouldn’t understand. She could buy anything she wanted, anytime she wanted. Sara had always hated rich people, and Taylor definitely hadn’t done anything to help that.
“Maybe it’s a gift from her boyfriend or something?” Bella mused, idly inspecting her nails.
“Boyfriend? Her? My God, what poor guy would want…want that? I almost feel bad for the guy.” Taylor said with a snort. Then, she moved the book back into the bowl. Sara could just barely see the cover now.
“No!” She screamed, tried to brush past Bella. She ran into that arm again, tried to muscle past it.
“Hey, hey!” Bella growled, pushing her a step back. “You don’t want me to really mess you up, right? Just shut up and watch like a good girl, alright?”
Her vision was starting to blur. She hated when she cried, it made her feel pathetic. She took a deep breath. “You know, just because you want to die doesn’t mean you have to make everyone else feel that way!” If there was one thing Sara had always been good at, it had been insults.
Bella’s eyes went wide. She was…well, she was what everyone would describe as the stereotypical goth. She always wore all black, even her lipstick and eyeliner were black. Right now, she was wearing a black crop top over a pair of black leggings. It shouldn’t have even been allowed, but being one of Taylor’s friends let you get away with a lot here.
“You…now you’ve really done it.” Bella growled and took a step forward. Sara took a hesitant step back as the woman raised her fist. She knew the woman could throw a punch. She knew that very, very well.
“Hey, if you just beat her up, that won’t be very fun would it?” Taylor said with a sigh.
Bella turned back. “You heard what she said. She needs someone to help teach her some damn manners.”
Sara gulped as the two women stared at each other. She still didn’t understand which of the two really wore the pants in whatever fucked up partnership they had. Taylor had all the influence, but the woman was built like a slutty blonde cheerleader, she doubted Taylor even made her own bed. Bella was…well, she was the tallest girl in their year, and she damn well knew it.
“You know, it’s a pain in the ass whenever you beat someone up. Do you have any idea how many times I’ve had to sweet talk the principal? You’d have been expelled a year ago if it weren’t for me.” Taylor said matter of factly, before folding her arms.
“So what? I just let this….” Bella turned to her and looked at her with so much disgust it made Sara’s skin crawl. “This little weasel?” Then, she turned away again.
Taylor sighed, before pulling the book back out. It didn’t look wet, thankfully. “Well, maybe we should turn over a new leaf? I mean, Sara probably doesn’t like our little game very much. Don’t you Sara?” Taylor addressed that last part to her.
Sara gulped, what the fuck was she supposed to say to that? “Uh…I don’t?” She finally managed.
Taylor nodded her head, before holding the book out. “Well, let’s end this then. Here you go.”
Bella growled, taking a step towards her friend. “What the hell do you think you’re doi-” Then she stopped. Sara didn’t know why, didn’t even know what was happening. Still, she wasn’t about to look a gift horse in the mouth.
Sara inched past Bella, who didn’t make any move to stop her. In fact, she looked…calmer? She had a bad feeling about this. She took a few more steps, entering the stall. She reached out to take the book.
“Oops.” With that one word, Taylor threw the book back, right into the toilet.
“No!” Sara screamed, lunging for it. She managed to grab it just before it fell, catching herself on the rim of the seat. “Oh thank god.” She murmured, moving to pull the book close.
Then, there were two pairs of hands grabbing onto her waist, hoisting her up. Sara only realized what was happening when it was too late. “No, you ca-” Her words cut off as those pairs of hands dunked her head first into the toilet. She felt more revulsion in that moment than she ever had before. Her swimming lessons were the only thing that kept her from opening her mouth.
She thrashed, trying to get free. The hands on top of her wouldn’t let go. Sara was starting to panic, she could feel her lungs start to burn. How long was she going to be able to hold on? Logically, she knew it wasn’t like those two girls were going to drown her in a school toilet, but her brain panicked anyway.
Then, finally the hands let go. Sara fell on her back, gasping for sweet air. Toilet water dripped down her cheeks, mixed in with her tears. She’d never felt more humiliated in her entire life.
“Damn, I think we could have let her thrash around for a little while longer.” Bella muttered, looking down at her as if she was inspecting a weird looking bug. “Damn, she sure as hell stinks now.”
Taylor came into view then, nodding. “I almost prefer the way she smelled before. Oh well, at least that was fun.”
Then, a voice broke through her daze, one she recognized. It was Miss Winter, the Science Teacher. “Who is making all that noise? Open up, what’s going on in there?” That voice was followed by a series of loud knocks on the door.
Taylor sighed. “Well, I guess the fun is over for now.” She moved out of view, and Sara vaguely realized she heard footsteps, followed by the sound of a window opening.
“You know, you’re somehow even more fucking ugly when you cry.” Bella grinned down at her, then she too was gone.
Sara just lay there, not really moving. She did the only thing she could think to do. She cried.
Her teacher found her quickly enough after that. Sara hadn’t even bothered explaining what had happened, she only knew it wouldn’t make things better. Sooner or later the Principal would get involved, citing that there was no real ‘proof’ Taylor was even anywhere near her. Besides, she’d have an alibi for being somewhere else entirely with half the school. It was something she’d seen often enough, now she just didn’t care.
That day, Sara finally did the one thing she’d always dreaded doing but had been forced to. She begged her parents to transfer her as far away as possible.

“Damn, I guess we broke her.” Bella mused, idly scrolling through her phone. “You know, it’s fucking funny. I kind of miss the runt now that she’s gone. She at least made things more interesting in her own pathetic way.” She shifted in place. She was sitting on a set of stairs, one that hadn’t really been built with comfort in mind.
“Well, it’s your own fault. You went a little overboard, you must have broken her. You always end up doing this sooner or later.” She heard Taylor mutter idly, sitting beside her.
Bella turned from her phone and raised an eyebrow. “That toilet thing was your idea. And then there was the time we made that little boyfriend of hers strip. That was your idea too. Don’t put this all on me.” Well, Bella said that but the truth was she wished those had been her ideas. Taylor always had better ideas than she did.
Taylor shrugged beside her. “Well, I just wanted to have a little fun. I didn’t know you’d take it all this far. I’m completely innocent and pure, just ask all the teachers.”
Bella snorted. The teachers would say Taylor was a fucking angel sent by God himself if she asked. That didn’t really mean shit. Still, she was so goddamn bored.
“So? What now? Exams are still a couple months out. We find someone new or what? Knowing you, I bet you probably already have someone in mind. So spill.” Bella waited idly. Taylor didn’t answer her. She turned to the woman, who was smiling down at her phone. “What?”
Taylor turned to face her. Bella found herself oddly…afraid. That wasn’t right, why the hell was she afraid? Even if it was Taylor, who gave a fuck about that?
“Oh, I already have someone in mind.” Taylor said matter of factly, staring at her. “You know, you always act so goddamn tough, following along behind me. It’s adorable. I always did wonder what would happen if I…well, if I had some fun with you.”
Bella froze, before reaching out and grabbing Taylor by her arms. “What the fuck do you think you’re saying right now you crazy bitch?” Bella snarled at her. “Don’t forget, I can snap you like a goddamn twig anytime I want. Maybe your heads swelled too much and you need someone to fix you.”
Taylor didn’t look away. “Well, I admit you probably could beat me up, you’re an elephant after all.” Bella bristled, squeezed the woman’s arms tighter. Taylor winced, but kept on going. “I am better at fighting than you think though. I just…don’t really have to. Anyway, that’s not really what I had in mind.”
Bella frowned. Damn bitch always was dramatic as hell. Still, Taylor finally followed up.
“I was just wondering what the school would think if they saw these.” Taylor raised her hand, showing off her phone. Bella stared at the screen, before recoiling back.
“Where…where did you get these?!” She demanded. She stared at a picture of herself, completely naked and on her knees. She recognized the picture, she’d sent it to an ex.
“Well, you have to know that if I want something, I always find a way to get it.” Taylor said with a grin. “It wasn’t even that hard. Just cost…well, let’s not get into that. Either way, I don’t think you want people to see these, right? But, you look like a D cup. I’d never have-”
Bella snarled, shoved Taylor. The woman hit the metal railing behind her. She let out a gasp. “I’m going to smash your phone into a thousand pieces you bitch. Then I’m going to do the same with your fa-”
Then, Taylor burst out laughing. Bella was so confused she didn’t know what to say. She shook the girl, who slowly calmed down, wiping a tear from one eye. “I know you aren’t exactly smart but…come on.” Taylor shook her head. “I have like…ten different copies of this. Go ahead and break my phone, I did wanna buy one of those cool folding ones anyway.”
Bella felt something rise up in her that she wasn’t very familiar with. Fear. She gulped, letting go of Taylor. What could she do now? Her parents were going to kill her if this ever got back to them. They were…well, to call them conservative would have been an understatement.
“Good, it seems it finally got through your thick fucking head.” Taylor said with glee, before clapping her hands. “Now, we’re going to have some real fun, okay?”
And that’s how Bella’s nightmare began.

Sara looked around, trying to be as inconspicuous as she could manage. She still didn’t know why she was here. It was stupid. Was she walking into a trap? She had to be. Should could still turn around and-
Then she saw her. It was a little hard not to recognize her. The large woman was hunched over one of the tables at the back corner of the cafe. She was alone, just like she’d said she’d be. Sara took in a deep breath, before walking over towards her. Up close…well, Bella seemed less herself than she had just a year ago. She was still a damn monster for a girl, but she was obviously thinner than she had once been.
Bella looked up at her as Sara approached her. Sara wilted under that gaze before steeling herself. She wasn’t that same kid from back in the day. She was someone new, someone who could handle anything that happened. She took the seat opposite the other woman.
Bella didn’t speak, so Sara did for her. “If this isn’t good, I’m leaving. You have one chance. If you fuck with me, I’m gone and you’ll never see me again. I promise.”
Bella opened her mouth to say something. No doubt it was going to be something rude or hurtful. Then she closed her mouth again, seeming to consider. That shocked Sara. Bella? Thinking before she said something?
Then, the woman finally spoke. “I need your help.”
Sara felt like she’d just been hit in the face by a professional boxer. Help? What? She leaned back in her seat, before looking at her hands. Apparently, if you were dreaming, one way to tell was by your hands. You usually had more or less fingers in your dreams. She had five. This was not a dream.
“What?” She finally said, before shaking her head. “What the fuck are yo-”
Bella held up a hand. “Just look at this.” Then, she pulled out her phone, pointing it at her. Sara stared at the screen, and wanted very much to crawl into a hole and never come out. It was a video of Taylor, pulling out trash from a garbage can and just dumping it on her. She remembered that it was the first time the two had played one of their little ‘games’ with her.
It was a memory Sara had worked very hard to completely erase from her mind. Now, it was right here in front of her. Before, seeing this might have made her sick. It might have made her vomit. Now, seeing this just pissed her off. How dare this bitch bring her all the way out here for this? She made to stand up, before Bella interjected again.
“Wait! Listen, damnit.” Something in the woman’s voice made Sara pause. She slowly sat back down, before motioning the woman to explain herself.
“This is a video of that bitch doing something daddy dearest and all her friends wouldn’t want to see, right? If there’s one thing she is, it’s rich. I say we tell her to either pay up, or we post this fucking everywhere. We could even sue her or something, do it all proper and shit. Give that little weasel nowhere to run.”
That was perhaps the longest Sara had ever heard the woman speak. Maybe she’d practised in front of a mirror? Sara took it all in. She knew Bella and Taylor weren’t really friends, but she hadn’t expected this.
“Why?” She asked sharply. She wasn’t exactly eloquent today.
Bella frowned, before looking away. “That’s not important. You help me and I help y-”
“It is important. You tell me why or I walk.” Sara demanded again.
Bella looked back at her, before staring at her hands. The woman looked very, very uncomfortable. “That bitch turned on me…after you left.” She said that last part like it was somehow Sara’s fault. Sara pointedly ignored that. “She’s lost her damn mind. She needs someone to put her in her place, and I need you for that.”
Sara slowly nodded. Now she understood. Well, she thought she did. She couldn’t help but let out a small giggle.
Bella froze, before glaring at her. “What, you think this is funny bitch?!”
Sara waved her off. “Yes, I do. You loved picking on the weak, right? Well, the moment I left, you became the weakest. Then…well, I can imagine. I doubt she beat you up or something so what is it? Blackmail?”
Bella blushed and looked away. That must have been it then. “Now, you’ve come crawling all the way back to me. You know, the girl whose life you tried to ruin. So yes, I think it’s fucking hilarious. It’s probably the funniest thing I’ve seen in my entire life.”
Bella glared back at her. “Are you going to help or not? Don’t just fucking laugh at me bitch.”
Sara paused. Was she going to? Could she even trust the woman in front of her? Sara stared at Bella, saw a pain in the woman’s eyes she’d seen often enough in her own. She knew that Bella wasn’t lying, but that sure as hell didn’t make her trustworthy.
She took a deep breath, trying to think. A part of her did want some revenge, even now. Her therapist had talked a lot about ‘letting go’ and ‘moving on’, but those things were easier said than done. Now that she was here, she found that she really, really wanted to get back at Taylor. Well, I want to get back at this bitch too but…what do they say about the enemy of my enemy?
“Fine.” She said finally. Bella perked up.
Then, Bella looked away. “If you’re going to demand I apologize or something you can shove it. I ain’t apologizing for shit. Don’t even ask.”
Sara wasn’t about to ask. She knew that was pointless. Still, it was nice to see Bella was still as unashamedly a bitch as she ever was.
“I wouldn’t dream of it.”
*************************************************************************************************************************************
“So, what in the hell are we doing? Maybe we’re here to play dress up. Sorry girls, but I think I outgrew that a few years ago.” Taylor strode into the room, acting like she owned the place. Well, she always acted like that.
Sara looked over at Bella, sitting just beside her. “You know why we’re here. We’re here for you to make things right.”
Taylor grinned at them, walking forward and taking a seat. They were in an empty classroom in her old school. It was a convenient enough place, and Taylor had made the arrangements easily enough. Looking at Taylor, you’d never know she was here to answer for her sins.
Indeed, the whore was dressed in a bright green crop-top, and wore shorts that ended inches above her knees. She was showing more skin than she was hiding, like she always did. Sara frowned.
“You know why you’re here, right? Your daddy’s lawyers sure liked wasting our time before we sent over that video, huh?” Bella said with a grin, sitting just beside her. Sara looked over her and sighed. Bella was wearing the same thing Taylor was, except all in black. That couldn’t have been on purpose, but it was an uncanny coincidence.
“Yes, yes. Something about me being an ‘evil bitch’ who ‘has to answers for her crimes’”. Taylor said, making quotation marks with her fingers. “Still though…that video. Bella dear, I didn’t think you’d have the brains to keep something like that lying around. I’m almost impressed.”
Bella snorted. “Shut up bitch. I have plenty more where that came from too, so don’t you fucking try anything. I don’t mind going down if I take you down with me.”
Sara tried not to show her surprise. They only did have that one video…right? Well, it wasn’t important right now. She had to steer this conversation before it went completely off the rails.
“Taylor…” Sara began, clasping her hands in front of her. “You’ve fucked up, and we have you on video. Any jury who sees this is going to throw the book at you, no matter what your lawyers manage to say.” Well, she really didn’t know that. She just hoped it was true. It had to be, if Taylor had agreed to come here.
“Now, that’ll fuck you over. I heard you were going to Yale, right? I don’t think they’ll like this very much. We both know you don’t have the brains to go there on your own. This might make things really…inconvenient for your family, right?”
Taylor scowled, her perfect smile slipping for just a second. Then, it was plastered back across her face. “Yes. I’d probably be fucked. Then again…” She leaned forward. “You fucks probably can’t afford lawyers either, I mean…come on.”
“We would come up with something if it meant fucking you over, bitch.” Bella hissed beside her, rising from her seat.
Sara sighed, this wasn’t going great. “We wouldn’t be able to afford it…easily.” She finally admitted. “But we would manage. If it means fucking you over, we would think of something.”
Taylor paused, before slowly nodding. “Well, I guess you did grow a backbone wherever you went. I’m impressed.”
Sara looked over at Bella, who reluctantly sat back down. “Right, so we’re looking for an…out of court agreement. You know, for our uhm…emotional pain.” She tried to wing it as best she could. All the legal jargon ChatGPT had told her was coming in handy right now.
Taylor shrugged and dismissively waved her hand. “Right right. Get on with it already. How much?”
Bella and Sara looked at each other. They had agreed on this. Then, they turned back to Taylor.
“50k. Each.” Bella said firmly.
Taylor didn’t flinch. She just raised an eyebrow and let out a low whistle. “Fifty thousand dollars. Damn, you two really are bold, huh?”
“I think it’s the least we deserve after what you put us through.” Sara replied. Well, put her through, at any rate. “Besides, what the hell is fifty thousand to you? Don’t act like that’s anything more than a drop in the bucket.”
Taylor nodded. “Sure, I think I have a card with that much on me right now. Or maybe it’s the other one….” She trailed off, as if thinking to herself.
Man, this bitch really pisses me off. Sara couldn’t even imagine what it would be like to be that rich. Would she have ended up a complete bitch like Taylor? She didn’t like to think about that.
“So, you’re paying up then?” Bella said hopefully. Of the three of them, Sara knew she needed the money the most. From what she’d been able to gather, Bella was probably going to end up going to the shittest community college around otherwise.
“Nope.” Taylor said flippantly. “Not a goddamn chance.”
Bella stood up again, practically knocking the small table in front of them over. “What the fuck did you just say?!” For once, Sara had the same reaction. At least she had the decency to keep it inside her head.
“I…what the hell do you mean?” Sara finally asked. Then she leaned forward. “Why in the fuck did you come here then if you weren’t going to settle?!”
Taylor turned her gaze over to her, before grinning. “Really, you’d never raised your voice at me before. I’m almost hurt.” She shrugged. “I don’t mind telling you, consider it a reward for being a good dog. If I settle…well, that implies I did something wrong, doesn’t it?”
Taylor leaned forward. Sara found herself instinctively leaning back in her seat. “And if any College found out about that…well, I’d still be fucked either way. Maybe…maybe I could trust you to keep a secret.” She pointed her finger at Sara, before pointing it at Bella. “But this bitch? Hell no. I bet she was planning to blackmail me for years, not just here. Isn’t that right?”
Sara looked over at Bella. The woman’s face was red. What? Fuck, I should have realized. That’s the only reason she even came up with this.
Taylor leaned back in her seat. “So no, I won’t settle. Go on, take me to court. I’ll make the whole thing take a decade. I’m sure you’ll get your money just in time for your kids to start going to school.”
Bella growled, leaned forward and grabbed Taylor by the hem of her crop-top. “Listen here you stupid bitch. I’ve heard you talk for long enough. Either you pay up or you leave this place crawling.”
Sara stood from her seat too. This had all gone wrong. It wasn’t supposed to be this way.
“You know, I knew you were a fucking disappointment but I never thought you’d stoop so low as to…as to try and work with her.” Taylor said the word with so much sustain it made Sara’s skin crawl. “Let me guess, you were planning to screw her after you tried messing with me, right? That’s what you really thought, huh?”
This time Sara didn’t need to look over at Bella to know that accusation was true too. Taylor grabbed onto Bella’s arm, pulled it back. Bella looked mildly surprised, her face visibly strained. Taylor looked strained too.
“You know, just because you’re a tall ogre doesn’t mean you’re strong. You should try actually hitting the gym for once.”
Then, all hell broke loose. Taylor stood up and kicked the table in front of her. It slid, hit Bella in the knees. Bella growled, staggered back. Taylor reached forward, grabbed a pen lying on the table and hurled it at Bella. It bounced off the woman’s cheek.
“Tsk. That’s so much cooler in the movies.” Taylor sighed.
“Bella, you can’t just start a fight here!” Sara demanded, grabbing onto the woman’s shoulder. This was exactly what Taylor had wanted, and now they were playing right into it. Bella shoved her with so much force Sara went crashing into her chair. The chair toppled over, and Sara fell along with it.
Then, Sara saw Bella lunged over the table at Taylor. She didn’t see what happened next, all she heard was shouting and crashing.
How the fuck did things turn out like this? Sara wanted to do something she hadn’t done in a very long time. She wanted to cry. Damn it, you’re not that girl anymore. Either stop being a pussy or leave.
Sara took a deep breath to compose herself, before she rose. She saw Bella shoving Taylor back into a far wall. Taylor thudded against it as Bella charged her. Taylor threw out a kick, one that took Bella in the stomach. Bella staggered and leaned forward, right as Taylor kicked her in the head, knocking her on her back.
Rage came over Sara. A haze of red washed over her vision and she found herself charging, jumping and running over the table as she leaped off the other end. Taylor stared down at Bella. She looked up, a little too late. That look of shock and surprise on her face was the sweetest thing Sara had ever seen.
Sara kicked out. She was a little short, she only just managed to hit the side of Taylor’s head with her foot. Pain blossomed inside her as she barely managed to land standing. Taylor gasped, knocked back into the wall. One of her hands went up to massage the side of her head.
“Damn, I really do need to train my dogs better.”
Sara growled, before rushing the woman again. She could see Taylor tense up. She suspected Taylor was going to throw out a kick, just like she had with Bella. Sara stopped at the last second, right as Taylor’s foot came up. There was another moment of stunned shock on the woman’s face as Sara grabbed onto her leg and pulled as hard as she could.
Taylor fell down with a yelp, landing with a loud thud. The woman groaned in pain, and Sara took a step forward. Then, a hand grabbed onto her ankle. She turned to see Bella, glaring up at her.
“What the fuck do you think you’re doing?!” Sara demanded, trying to pull herself free.
Bella glared at her, using her as support to stand up. The woman towered over her. Sara gulped.
“Fucking pissed me off trying to work with you, bitch.” Bella growled. Then, she threw out a fist. One moment Sara was safely on her feet, the next it felt like someone had punched her with a sledgehammer. She staggered back, every bone in her face protesting against her.
Her foot caught something -Taylor lying on the ground- and she fell. She fell right on top of Taylor. Then, a pair of hands were on her. She looked up to see Bella. One of the woman’s hands was on her crotch, the other on her head. A moment later, Sara felt herself being lifted.
Bella strained, let out a pained gasp. Sara tried to thrash away the woman’s hands, but they wouldn’t budge an inch. Then, a moment later she was halfway in the air. She let out a startled shriek. She knew Bella was strong, but seeing it first hand wasn’t something she’d ever wanted.
“Let me down you big sack of-” Her words cut off as Bella heaved. Thankfully, Bella wasn’t superhuman. Sara was thrown a few feet away, landing directly on the table. She landed on the thing with a thud, feeling every part of her start to ache. The table didn’t just break, which was a relief.
Sara groaned, tried to rise. Then, there was another scream. Sara didn’t even have time to turn as a weight fell on top of her. The table underneath her gave in. She didn’t even know what part of her body hurt more. She groaned, tried to raise her hands. Her hands hit something, and Taylor let out a yelp.
“Watch…watch your damn hands.” The woman groaned, before slipping off from on top of her. Sara lifted her head. Bella stood in one corner of the room, heaving as she took in deep, long breaths.
“Looks like the bitch is a little tired, huh?” Sara turned her head to see Taylor staring where she’d just been. “What do you say we don’t let that bull get the rest she needs? You know, for old times sake?”
Sara wanted to tell the woman to fuck off, but every part of her was hurting. Finally, she nodded her head.
Taylor slowly rose back to her feet with a small groan. Sara followed her, even if it felt like her knees would give in at any moment. She took a step forward, pulled herself away from the ruins of the table. How the hell was she going to explain that?
Then, Taylor was running at the woman. Sara didn’t know what she was supposed to do. She looked around, grabbed a long broken piece of wood from the ground, and followed after her. Bella looked up just as Taylor got to her. Taylor tried throwing out a kick, but Bella grabbed onto her leg.
“Too fucking slow.” The bigger woman growled. Then, Sara reached her. Bella looked at her, before turning back to Taylor like Sara hadn’t even been worth the half second of attention she’d gotten.
Sara let out a scream, before swinging the piece of wood. It crashed against the side of Bella’s head. The woman let out a curse as she staggered back.
“What the fuck you crazy bit-” Sara didn’t let her finish. She slammed the piece of wood into the woman’s shoulders. Bella hissed, her back hitting the wall behind her. The piece of wood bent in her hand. Sara took a step forward. This felt good, this was the kind of therapy she’d really needed all these months.
“Thanks for softening her up a little. I can take it from here.”
“What?” Sara turned her head, just in time to see Taylor shoot her leg up, hitting her right in the forehead. Sara’s world blurred as she staggered, before falling on her back. For a moment, her vision went black. Then, the light returned, everything was a blur. She thought she heard screams and shouts, but to her they sounded like they were travelling through water.
Sara blinked and her vision steadied. She saw Bella on her knees, Taylor standing above her. Taylor slammed her knee into the woman’s chest, over and over again. Bella groaned in pain, her eyes looking dazed. Both women were practically naked. When had that happened? She hadn’t noticed before.
She looked down at her own clothes. She’d been wearing a loose black shirt over baggy blue jeans. Her shirt was in tatters now, showing off one of the cups of her red bra. She sighed, she didn’t have time to think about that. Sara started to rise, it was easier than it had been before.
“That’s what you fucking get for thinking you’re hot shit bitch!” Taylor screamed, kneeing Bella one more time. Sara staggered over to her. She saw that same piece of bent wood lying on the ground and picked it up.
“I should have trained you better. It’s really my fault. You know how much it hurts me to discipline you like this!”
Sara put her free hand on the woman’s shoulder. Taylor paused and turned around. Her eyes went wide when she saw her. That’s exactly when Sara slammed the wood into her head. Bella had staggered back, the damn woman was built like a truck. Taylor…Taylor went down like a sack of potatoes.
Sara watched her fall. She’d probably be fine. Hopefully? Didn’t this kind of thing give you a concussion? Well, if anyone deserved one, it sure as hell was Taylor. Sara turned back to Bella. The woman was sitting down now, leaning against the wall. A trickle of blood ran down her forehead, spilling into her open lips.
Those lips twisted into a smile as Bella’s eyes met hers. “Who fucking knew you had it in you bitch?”
Sara swung again, this time using the wood like a hammer. She froze as Bella caught the piece of wood just inches from her forehead. Sara tried to force it forward, but it wouldn’t budge.
“I’m going to have some…real fun with you, cxnt.” Bella was starting to rise again. Sara’s arm strained and trembled as Bella slowly got to her feet. She abandoned the wood and took a step back as Bella finally rose to her full height. The woman staggered forward, swinging.
Sara didn’t know what it was. Maybe it was the adrenaline that was coursing through her. Maybe Taylor had hurt Bella more than she’d thought. Either way, the swing was slow, clumsy.
Sara ducked under it, taking a step forward. She shot out a fist, hitting Bella right in the stomach. Her fist hurt from the blow, and Sara wondered if she’d made a mistake. Then, Bella let out a long gasp, dropping the wood as she half crumbled over.
Sara threw out another punch, hitting the woman in the stomach again. Bella completely doubled over. Sara took a step back. She’d seen what Taylor had done in this situation, and for some reason, the thought of copying her made her pause. No, she’d do things her way.
She put her foot on top of Bella’s neck, before putting all her weight down. Bella resisted, and Sara almost wondered if the whore was about to flip her over. Then, she went down, landing chin first onto the carpet below. Bella might have broken some of her fall with her hand, Sara hadn’t seen.
Sara looked down at Bella. The woman was still breathing, thank god. She took a few deep breaths. Something made her turn. Taylor was back on her feet, seeming…well, seeming nonplussed. Taylor looked down at Bella, before letting out a low whistle.
“Well, I never thought I’d see the day. You know, if you were like this all those months ago, maybe you’d be on my side instead.”
Sara bristled at that. She folded her arms and glared at the woman. “And why the hell would I ever, ever be on a side with someone as cruel and bitchy as you?”
Taylor just smiled at her. “Because my side is always the winning side, babe.”
Then, Taylor was rushing for her. Sara cursed under her breath, throwing out a punch to ward the woman off. Taylor did back away. Then, she grabbed Sara’s hand and pulled her forward. Sara tried to turn and throw out a kick. She didn’t know what happened. A hand grabbed her and spun her around.
She crashed back to the ground. Sara tried to stand, but hands grabbed at her legs, twisted them. She went from being on her back to lying on her stomach. A weight settled on her back, pulling her legs back. The pain came then. It was sharp, excruciating. It felt like her legs were protesting, like at any moment her legs could have been snapped in half.
“You know….” Taylor mused on top of her. Some of the pressure vanished. “I know how to fight. I’ve actually had…some training.” Some of the pressure returned. Sara fought back a scream. “I just think…it’s less fun. Why the hell should I waste my time getting my hands dirty?”
The pressure increased. Sara finally did let out a whimper. She could feel her legs straining. “So, do you give up? Honestly, if you give up now and swear to be my bitch, I won’t snap you in two. Though, if you refuse….” Taylor pulled harder. Somehow, Sara knew that if Taylor tried any harder, she really would end up losing her legs.
She felt disgust and hopelessness well up inside her. She wanted revenge, but did she want it this badly? In the end, there were some prices she wasn’t willing to pay.
“I…” She couldn’t make the words come out. Sara couldn’t force them past her lips. “Do your worst, bitch.” She finally whispered.
Taylor seemed to pause, for the strain was gone. “Damn. You know, I might even like you a little now.” Then, she pulled.
Sara felt her vision black out again from the pain. It was unlike anything she had ever felt before. Then, the pain vanished. Something thudded on top of her. Sara let out a gasp, as if she was coming fully awake for the first time. She still felt the phantoms of pain clawing at her. She tried to move her legs. They ached, but they moved.
Sara turned her head, saw Bella on the ground on top of Taylor. Taylor had a bloody lip as she held her hands up in front of her face. Bella punched down, over and over again.
“You thought…you could get rid of me that easily?!” Bella screamed, pounding down on the blonde woman.
Sara tried to rise back up. Maybe it would have been smarter for her to let Bella take care of Taylor, before ambushing her in the end. Still, it didn’t sit right with her. That felt too much like getting her help. Sara looked around. The closest thing to her was…was that a phone?
She picked it up. It wasn’t hers, and it was damn big. Well, it’s not my problem, is it? She grabbed it and aimed. Sara launched the thing as hard as she could manage. Sara hadn’t exactly been athletic, not when she still went to this school. Now…well, now she had a few months of baseball practice under her belt.
The phone sailed through the air and hit right where Sara had wanted it to. It hit the back of Bella’s head. The woman let out something that might have been a gurgle as she toppled over on top of Taylor. Taylor let out a scream, trying to shove the woman off of her. Sara took a deep breath, before she forced her legs to move again.
She didn’t know what the plan was. She’d staggered Bella, but the girl would start rising again. Even as she watched, the woman was trying to get back up. Well, only one thing to do, huh? Sara jumped right on top of the two.
She landed on Bella's back, and as she fell off, her elbow hit Taylor right in the chin. There was a flurry of movement. Sara didn’t know who, but someone slapped her across the face. She grunted, fell down beside the other two women. Sara started to thrash, sending out her arms and legs at the other two women.
She hit flesh, hit bone. The other two women started to thrash too. An elbow came up and hit Sara right above her nose. A knee hit her right on top of her right breast. That one really hurt like a bitch. Then, a foot came and hit her right on the chin. Sara grunted, feeling herself start to slip again.
Sara quickly scrambled back, trying to assess the situation. Taylor and Bella were clawing at each other like wild animals. A sting made Sara touch her own cheek, it came back red. Damn women were fighting like animals. She watched Bella throw out a kick, one that hit Taylor square in the face.
Taylor slumped after that, and Bella started to pull herself away from the woman. Sara cursed, looked around for anything she could use. The table was on the other side of the room, behind the two women. She couldn’t go there to pick something else up. Then, Bella was on her feet.
Bella looked around, saw her, then grinned. Then, Bella turned. Sara watched her pick up a chair, holding it in the air. Weren’t those things supposed to be heavy?
“Catch!” Bella shouted, before throwing. Sara ducked under it, and the chair sailed over her head, crashing into the wall behind her. Sara sighed, looking back at the thing. One of its four legs had broken off.
“You know, that kind of thing works a lot better in movi-” Sara turned around just in time to see Bella charging at her. She didn’t have time to get away, so she held out her arms as if trying to block whatever happened next. Bella rammed right into her. Sara felt like she’d just been charged by a stampeding bull.
She started to topple over, then a hand grabbed her, pulled her back up. She saw Bella grinning down at her. The woman held her up, before starting to run with her. Sara tried to stop, but Bella held her up. Her feet moved on their own as the wall got closer and closer. A second later. She held up her hands at the last moment, slamming into the thing. Her arms screamed at her and she tried to turn.
Then, a pair of hands went to her head, tried to ram it into the wall. Sara tried to keep herself away, make whatever distance she could with her hands. Bella was too strong. Her hands finally crumpled and her head slammed into it. Everything blurred around her, there was a buzzing in her ears she couldn’t ignore.
She was falling, but then she wasn’t. Those hands grabbed her again. A small part of Sara could feel the blood start trickling down her forehead and knew Bella was just about to slam her into the thing again. She tried to move her hands, but they weren’t listening to her. Sara let out a scream, moving the only part of her body she still could. Her head.
She rocked her head back as hard as she could, hoping and praying. Her head crashed into something, then Bella let out a curse. The hands that had held onto her let go. Sara staggered forward, leaned onto the wall for support. She turned and saw Bella staggering back, hands clasping onto her mouth.
When Bella let her hands go, Sara could see the blood. More than that, she could see the half chipped tooth in her mouth. Well, that explained why her head was still ringing, that one had fucking hurt.
“You…you crazy bitch!” Bella hissed. Her voice sounded muffled, as if she was having a hard time speaking. Sara considered it an improvement.
“You look better that way, Bells.” Sara smiled at her. Bella stared at her, then her face went red. Sara was sure the woman was about to charge her again. She was already prepared for that. She’d turn at the last moment, kind of like they did with bulls.
Bella squared herself up. Then, Sara paused. She watched Taylor tiptoe behind the big woman. She thought about saying something, but Taylor reached forward and sprayed Bella with something right in the face. Orange mist sprayed out of whatever Taylor had in her hand. It must have been pepper spray. Bella let out a scream, her hands swiping furiously at her eyes.
Then, she started to lash out with her arms, back and forth. Taylor yelped as one of those arms hit her on the side, making her take a step back. Sara took a second to breathe, this was as good a chance as she was going to get. She rushed over to the side of the room, made her way back to the table.
She searched, her eyes landing on the first thing she could find. There weren’t any pieces of wood, at least none that she could use. She heard a shout from behind her, knew she was running out of time. Finally, she used both arms to grab onto…a school bag. The damn thing was a third as big as her, and heavy as shit.
She struggled to hold it up as she turned. Taylor was taunting Bella, sneaking in to punch the woman in the gut. Bella had one of her eyes closed as she swung her arm around wildly. Taylor ducked under those swings, one punch after another slowly wearing the big woman down.
Sara took in a deep breath, hoisted the bag in front of her. Then, she started to run as fast as she could manage. Bella must have heard the noise, because she turned just as Sara got close to her. It was too late. Sara rammed right into her. Bella staggered, took a step back. Sara had hoped the woman would fall over, but she didn’t.
Sara yelped as one of Bella’s hands came forward, locked onto her hair. They pulled. Sara let out a scream, trying to pull herself back. She heard another scream, barely made out Taylor on the other end. Bella had her other hand wrapped around her hair too. Damn it, she must have gotten greedy.
Then, Bella pulled. Sara tried to resist, but she was exhausted. She lurched forward, and Taylor did from the opposite end. Then, their heads smacked together. Something white flickered through Sara’s vision as she fell onto her knees. She was starting to feel a little lightheaded.
Dully, she heard or felt Taylor drop down just beside her. Her vision blurred, but she saw a thick leg right in front of her. Rage flared through her and she grabbed onto it.
“What the hell do you think you’re trying to do?” Bella sneered, though even her voice sounded tired. Sara tried to heave, used all the strength she could muster. She might as well have tried to pick a tree up for all the good it did.
Then, strangely, Bella lifted. Sara turned her head, saw Taylor hoisting onto Bella’s other head. Her face was a mask of pain and concentration. Sara focused too, groaning from the effort as she staggered from both knees to one knee.
“Hey let….let me go!” Bella screamed in a panic. A fist came down and hit Sara on the head. She didn’t let go. Vaguely, she heard another thud, one not aimed at her. Then, she was on her feet, with Bella in the air. She felt momentum from her right, and she added to it. She was running, her and Taylor half carrying and half falling over as they moved Bella forward.
A moment later, Bella slammed into a wall. Sara felt her strength give in and she let go. Bella swayed in the air, Taylor let out a curse from right beside her. Then, Bella was falling right on top of them.
There was a loud crash, but Sara only felt the pain. It felt like she was being suffocated by a weighted blanket. She knew she had to get up, but only vaguely did she realize that…she couldn’t hear anything. Nobody was moving. All she could hear were the sounds of labored breathing.
