The crowd seemed to know what the fight was about and clearly decided it was serious enough to let the girls settle it no matter the consequences.

I cringed when I heard the girl screaming "My eye! My eye!" We couldn't see it but there was some vicious close fighting going on with nails digging into eyes and no one was trying to help or stop the fight.

There is not much in the world I like better than a good catfight but I doubt I could have let a girl get possibly blinded or maimed if I could stop it.
