Christmas party at the CW Network and no one from Gossip Girl save the newer castmates were in attendance. There was always a big chance of a fight when Leighton and Blake were at this party and many of the higher ups thought for sure Leighton would be here as she no longer had to fear reprisal if she fought Nina Dobrev
One rule for the CW for other shows to follow you don’t mess with the Vampire Diaries. It used to be don’t mess with Gossip Girl which Leighton Meester took advantage of but for the most part Vampire Diaries actors and actresses didn’t act any better than their counterparts from lesser rated shows. Then joined Phoebe Tonkin who from the moment she joined the show and heard of the rule was taking advantage of it from pushing Blake Lively around. She would lift Rachel Bilson up and then when Jamie King would say something she’d ask what Jamie was going to do. King would back away and get punched in the stomach.
Katie Cassidy ignored Phoebe’s taunts but promised she’d get what was coming and now at the Christmas Party Phoebe had a new target Kristen Kreuk. Who for ten minutes was getting bullied and picked on by the Australian. Kristen stopped “Listen Phoebe the only reason you are still awake right now is a) The show you’re on and b) I really don’t think you are worth the energy of knocking out”
“Listen little girl, don’t blame the show I’m on for your short comings *snicker*.” A few people came around and an executive from the CW took Kristen away from the brewing trouble. “It’s probably smart for you to leave, I heard what Mila Kunis did to you years ago imagine what I’d do.”
Nina Dobrev grabbed Phoebe’s arm “Why don’t you shut up, you know nothing about her and Mila.”
Nina heard the stories from other Canadians but never knew it herself. Years ago Kristen and Mila were on the same level of fame and got into a catfight which Kristen won. An intense hatred for the other built during the course of the fight. They rematched months later and it was closer then the first fight until Mila hit Kristen with a phone.
Kristen stood there refusing to move, her hatred of Mila Kunis had reached legendary status simply due to Mila’s refusal to fight her. She tried moving on but couldn’t, it was so intense that hatred. They fought so close in the first fight and in the second she was so close to winning before being hit with the phone. She could never use her fight training against Mila, the fight always seemed to take place in close quarters. Now all these years later Kristen saw Shiri Appleby as more of an equal then Mila but she would never be able to prove that simple fact of which she believed that she Kristen Kreuk was greater than Mila Kunis. To be provoked with the name by someone who was hiding behind executives was absolutely infuriating. She couldn’t do anything about it either but then she heard Nina
“I’m tired of the way you act in here, if you want to fight Kristen fight her and if they say NO… I’m out.”
“No you can’t… “ Phoebe was pleading with Nina but the exec told Kristen if she wanted this then she could fight Phoebe Tonkin.
Kristen Kreuk removed her shoes and all jewellery and went to the center of the banquet hall. Phoebe reluctantly walked to the center “This isn’t fair to you I’m like twice your size and like ten years younger.”
“You opened your mouth and you’ve been warned before that one day it’ll get shut… This is the day.”
Phoebe took off her high heels and then jewellery and gave it to fellow Australian, co-star and best friend Claire Holt. “Get me out of this.”
“I can’t, use your size keep her at range and don’t lose.”
Phoebe who was five foot ten inches sauntered over to Kristen who was six inches shorter. The confidence was still there because of the advice given to her by an accomplished fighter like Claire Holt who had blackbelt in Tae Kwon Do.
“Ok little one you wanted this you…” She never got a chance to finish as Kristen kicked her in the ribs.
Phoebe dropped to a knee gasping for air and Kristen went to a co-star and walked back to the center while putting her hair into a ponytail. “That kick was around 60%” Kristen ripped the thigh section of her dress.
Phoebe got up and got her fists up and fired some sloppy punches. Kreuk stepped back from the first two then ducked third and stepped under the fourth punch and got behind the Australian and pushed her in the back.
Phoebe looked at Claire and turned and brought her fist back but as she was swinging kreuk stepped in and hit a right and left to Phoebe’s face putting her down onto her ass. Kreuk bounced back to avoid any kicks or trips from the tall woman.
The young Vampire Diaries star got up frustrated and threw a wild punch which Kristen ducked and countered with a sick kick Phoebe’s stomach and ribs. The shin bone landed with a sickening thud and it doubled over a gasping out of breath Phoebe Tonkin. Before she could drop to her knees Kristen followed that kick up with another kick this one an axe kick to Phoebe’s back leaving her down on her stomach in the middle of all the stars and executives of the CW.
“I think she’s had enough, anyone else here think Mila Kunis can beat me?”
“You…. Uh yeah… haven’t… gasp” Phoebe was working her way up to her feet and Kristen turned around and looked at the executives who told her to keep going, Nina who was kind of frightened at what she was seeing and Claire Holt who could at any moment step in and kick her ass.
Kristen brought both arms over her face and walked forward blocking head punches with her forearms. She got inside of Phoebe’s long arms and started working the sides of Phoebe Tonkin with stinging rights and lefts. She then jumped back using her gymnastic training and flipped kicking Phoebe in the chin with both feet. Kreuk landed on her feet and looked at the up in the air about to crash on their back Phoebe Tonkin.
Tonkin was knocked out cold, Kristen Kreuk fought someone with little skill absolutely no experience and destroyed them with proper training and a desire to win. On a network with multiple women in her size bracket the executives right now had Kristen behind only Jessica Lowndes for fighting. Kristen had more skill, but Jessica was meaner.
