Great Video, I very rearly if ever post like this but to me I am drawn to it as I know and love the game. Anything that can recoginse woman and make them equal to men to me is never a bad thing.  To me if men have issues with that it is because they are insecure and it is time to get over that fact that woman within reason can do as well as in some cases better what men can do. In fact, when the Women's Australian Football League started last year it has helped put on the map the importance of other woman sports in general and to me that is wonderful.

I have been around the game for almost 40 years as a Player, Coach, Trainer and now Medical Officer, and started in the era that to have a girl let alone a woman play was unacceptable. Women couldn't possibly as their bodies wouldn't stand up to it. The rule was simple I grew up where boys and men play football and girls and women played netball go away from that model and there was trouble. what aload of hogwash.

Yes, at the club would have wives and girlfriend matches where some of the guys would dress up as women and play but they were nothing more than a laugh. We know football, in general, is tough hard game and I know over the years it has got faster and more exciting but with it have come more injuries as Sports Science comes up with new ways to get the best out of their players, as now it is all professional and that is how these people make their living.

I know last year 2017 the Women's Australian Football League has its challenges and its doubters. Can women compete at the hightest level? Do they have the skilsl and the physiology needed that will make it a spectacle, not a joke? They are different their makeup is different and their bodies different and the issue until the the last couple of years is that there were very few woman's teams and girls often when reaching puberty were no longer allowed to play with the boys. and gain the skills required to get the to play at the hightest level.

I know this year here where we are from the Adelaide Crows have had a horror hit with injuries and it was blamed on their training program. It is being said what happens if this was to happen to the women? The money that is spent at this level and the knowledge that is around should suggest thatit is not an issue and where they do get and deserve at both levels the very best of care as the women's gains more teams more presteage and accpetance they will all get more out of it.

I have heard that the woman's game is soft and skills poor well after watch a few games now they canhit just as hard as the guys, they tackle just the same and there fitness and conditioning work in good yes it be right to say that some of the kill are lacking and to my knowledge and I will stand corrected here I do believe they don't put in the full time and get paid the way the men do but I can see in time they will. So to say woman are soft yes well. I have seem woemn small there woman than me beat the living day lights out of one another and woman that would fit behind a stobie pole take apart men bigger than them I know I send so much time putting them back together not only on the field but in the ER.

Woman can't play foot at any level may ass! Woman soft come spend some time with us I find woman just as competative just as passionate and just as hard at the ball as men and if you are in the way when they hit you it hurts and can do injury, they play knowing this and accepting this so let it be and I look forward to seeing the womman's game get stronger and strong in the years to com.
