CAMILA COBELLO AND SELENA GOMEZ TO BATTLE IT OUT IN DRESS RIPPING, HAIR TEARING, FACE SPITTING FIGHT

by Nancy Fanciful, correspondent for CelebToday, your favourite classy catfight magazine for all things bitchy

'Don't we all hate the noise of two ladies' beautiful evening gowns being ripped to pieces at the seams, and the unladylike groans of two females who seem to have forgotten everything about good, feminine behaviour while they engage in ugly actions like the pulling out of each other's hair by the roots, slapping their faces hard, and destroying each other's attire in a shocking physical battle of woman against woman?'
...This quote from 58 year old feminist Marlene Wallflower who runs the League Against Promoted Catfights (LAPC) based in Los Angeles we from CelebToday couldn't disagree with more.
The said league has only recently brought its existence to our attention again, and this time by vehemently campaigning against a scheduled event involving pop princesses Camila Cobello and Selena Gomez.
Camila and Selena met at a party hosted by Taylor Swift at the Rizz Hotel in Chicago. The two young Latinas soon got into a heated dispute about the question which one of them is the better singer, and finally celebrity guests were shocked to witness how their quarrel became louder, and how the two women eventually screamed at each other after each of them had spat at her rival.
Selena finally slapped Camila's face, and Camila retaliated by immediately landing the palm of her hand on Selena's cheek also.
Concerned guests managed to separate the two young ladies and to avoid any outbreaks of further hostilities that evening, but both Selena and Camila later made sure to 'keep in touch' in order to 'settle things for once and all'.
They wasted no time at all before organising a competition between them to take place in Chicago's Allstate Arena. There, the battle of Gomez and Cabello will begin in a way not even the LAPC could object to, the first stage of the competition consisting of a 'battle of voices' in which each of the women is going to sing one of her songs live, with the audience voting for the better vocal performer. Then, Camila and Selena will appear in the ring, not yet to lay their hands on each other but first to settle a beauty competition between them. They will be wearing elegant but sexy dresses, both giving their best to impress the audience and outshine her rival.
CelebToday has been told the two pretty Latinas will also be armwrestling for a test of strength before their main fight of wrestling in the ring, a final fight in which violent hairpulling, slapping each other's faces, spitting, or simply attempting to crush her rival in powerful enough bearhugs all are allowed. For the wrestling match, they will wear their gowns, and each woman will try to rip her rival's garment to shreds.
...And that last part is where Marlene Wallflower and her pious league tried to step in and sabotage the event.
'Isn't it a shame (Wallflower continued in her appeal to the public) that over and over again we have to helplessly stand by and watch so called "Celebrity Ladies' Wrestling Shows" in which women are degraded in such a despicable way?'
- Well, no, Ms Wallflower, we from CelebToday don't at all think so. Who do you think forces female fighters like Selena and Camila to battle? - Nobody. In fact, it is their decision alone to settle their differences in those ways, therefore if anything at all they'd be degrading themselves, not be degraded by any third party, but apparently neither we nor the ladies involved ever think of the fights as degrading. So, Ms Wallflower, take a seat, or as many seats as you like together with every member of the LAPC, and just enjoy the show!

The final date for this battle between Selena Gomez and Camila Cobello will soon be announced, and CelebToday will, as always, keep you updated about the fight.
