Hello, I've been into sports all my life. I'm 5'7'' tall brunette of Russian ancestry with impressive athletic body.

One time at work I got into a scuffle with a 5'6''-ish Indian girl who didn't do any sports and looked very wimpy and kind of skinny-fat. I was both heavier and taller than her and in better shape. Despite this she still somehow managed to beat me! It was very decisive also,I had to beg her to stop, leaving no doubt about the winner. Everyone who saw us was very surprised at the outcome as well.

I lost catifghts before that, but it was always to other athletic girls like my teammates or from other sport teams. I handled those defeats relatively well and accepted the winners as the better women. But defeat to this unathletic Indian girl was devastating and humiliatng, I felt a very bitter mixture of shock, disbelief and embarrassment when it happened and I couldn't recover mentally for weeks.

Maybe I'm just a sore loser, but I feel like she just got really lucky. She also fought a little dirty and it looked like she had experiences with catfights. I was also very cocky and underestimated her, and I guess I paid a very high price for it. But whatever the reason, she won and I lost and it felt HORRIBLE.

The Indian girl rubbed it in too, as she subdued me and held me down she said something like, "All these muscles didn't help you, did they?" I feel like we athletic girls are very impressive "trophies" for unathletic girls like her if they can beat us.

Any other athletic girls here who had similar embarrassments? I kind of hope I'm not the only one... I was too ashamed to talk about this to my teammates so I hope I can get some sympathy or advice on the internet at least.

I think that these are bullshit..or you are lieing and you are not so fit and muscled! Or tour opponent has a stronger body than what you think!
A trained and fit woman never give up against a wimp non-athletic bitch, because the second has no muscles and speednes ti contrasti the first.
So, clear your idea and tell the truth!

That's a bit rotten! We've no proof her account is true, but there's no reason to not believe it. Whatever the relative strength of two fighters there are other factors, like some people have a killer instinct. She mentioned her opponent fought dirty, and though she didn't specify how, that could have been decisive.

I was in control at first, but she softened me up with her dirty moves that caught me off guard and hurt me. She then put me in some improvized hold where she was really twisting my arm. I panicked and I started begging her to stop. I was afraid she was going to injure me and put me out of sport for a while. It would be really humiliating to explain my teammates how I got injured by this wimpy looking bitch. So maybe I gave up earlier than I should have. She let go of the hold and then grabbed me from behind with both arms and just held me down. Since I already gave up, I didn't resist. It would be seen as a bitch move if I suddenly started fighting again and I was very demoralized at that point anyway. She held me down subdued like that until more of our coworkers gathered so that more people could see that she beat me.

I don't know, maybe she was stronger than she looked. It all happened really fast. The fight I mean, her holding me down subdued and beaten after the fight felt like ages. I really don't want to think about her that much, I still hate that bitch for humiliating me like this. I'm sorry that I even brought that story up.

I continue to think that are bullshit, for some reasons:
1- you have not your own profile photo but a photo of Yelena Isinbayeva
2- a really fit and strong woman will never give up in a fight, but she want to prevail and win, in particular agaist a weaker and non athletic opponent.
3- if your opponent was really weak and non-athletic is impossible that she has the power to put you in serious difficoult.
4- I saw a lot of fights were a weaker opponent tried to prevail against an athletic and fit woman but always stamina and speedness of the fit one prevail against a dirtier style!

I am super athletic, (I am not one of the Olympics), since I was 5 years old, I received gymnastics for 6yrs and then I was a cheerleader  at middle school, I also do some crossfit, however, I am not a good fighter, moreover, I can not fight and I was not brought up to solve my problems in a physical way. I was in 2 catfights, one in hs vs a chunky nerdy tomboy bitch who beat the shit out of me, and the last one was in my freshman year in college vs a regular size bitch from Alabama, and it was my worst beaten i received in my life, both bitches, for i can say, were no athletic or sports women but both of them had a lot of aggressiveness and violence and knew how to fight (which I don't know). You can be an athletic or fit person, but if you are not aggressive or violent one,in addition, you do not know how to fight and you face a woman who is not sporty but who is super aggressive and has had experience in fighting, The odds that a non violetent  athletic girl lose a fight vs a non fit but aggressive bitch, are very big
I'm 5'6 "and I weigh 115lbs 24yrs

gabbypussy, I agree with you. Someone with a fighting instinct can beat someone bigger and fitter.

From a male perspective, I can understand how you felt. In my case, I lost badly to a younger and smaller guy. It was so embarrassing.

Although the original post is probably someone indulging a fantasy to say a non-athletic woman stands no chance against an athletic one is also "bs".
I am a church-goer, was brought up not to settle disputes with physical aggression and didn't do much in the way of keeping fit when I was younger. I did get into an altercation with a girl in Year 7, she was short and hadn't shed her puppy fat yet, and I found it very emotional to be hit and, if you can call a couple of slaps and a hair grab a fight, I lost it.
As time went on a mutual animosity grew between me and a girl at school who was everything you describe. Very athletic looking, she played netball and badminton, she went on to be a model. She'd had one fight at school that I knew of, ironically against the same girl I'd had a fight with, in Year 8, and won hands down.
Although I disliked her immensely and she used to upset me with her name calling about my looks the idea of fighting with her was not one I entertained for all the reasons I've laid out above.
But in our final year two of our friends had a fight, which my friend won, and that led to her being a bit more challenging towards me. So I met her challenge. I did have my friends for back up just in case but apart from one moment of interference when she was on top at the start they were not needed as I defeated her. Quite convincingly in the end.
Six or seven years of animosity towards her allied with a natural strength and stamina that I seemed to possess back then (I've lost it now, I went for a run the other day and took 34 mins to do 3k!) just made me fight like a whirlwind.
It was a shock to most people that I won, I have to say, and I know it took her a long time to live down. Last year we had a 20 year reunion and she pulled out of attending when she found out I was going. That speaks for itself.
