“Look at this, Karen! Just look at this!”
Jenna Coleman had come storming into Karen Gillan’s hotel room waving a magazine in a rage. They had become friends a few years ago and whenever they were going to a Comic Con or such things they would meet up, stay at the same hotel and have fun together. Karen knew that Jenna could be a little bit quick to get worked up, but she could usually calm her down relatively quickly.
“Chill, Jenna. What’s up?”
“You won’t believe it!”
Jenna passed the magazine to her and Karen had a quick look and read aloud.
“Emma Watson and Sophie Turner named the two most desirable British women.” Karen snorted, but passed the magazine back over. “So what?”
Jenna glared at her. “You must have missed the actual story.” Jenna began to read. “The two women who are attending comic con in Brighton this week were out together and we took the opportunity to ask them about the vote. Now, listen to what the bitches said!!!”
“Watson, now aged 30, said that she was not surprised that her closest competition was Sophie, but found it somewhat amusing that Jenna Coleman (placed at number 23) was on the list as she hadn’t realised that she was viewed that way.”
“What the fuck??”
“Wait, Karen, I’m not done.”
“Watson believed that it must have something to do with Doctor Who’s strange popularity, to which a giggling Turner suggested that maybe people were so thankful that Coleman had replaced that lanky, awkward Scottish girl that they gave her some votes. We let her know that Karen Gillan wasn’t on the list.”
As Jenna had been reading Karen’s mouth had opened wider and wider and she stared at her friend. She was angry, so angry, but suddenly she realised that tears were running down her cheeks. Jenna hugged her tight.
“They’re not getting away with it Karen. I’m not having it.”
“What can we do? Those two can get away with anything and they’ll be painted in the best possible light. They’ve made a fool of me!”
“We’ll do something. At the event tonight.”
“Like what?”
“Look, Emma might be a bit taller than me, but she’s never had anybody cross her in her life. I could take her. I could. And you…”
“Could beat the living hell out of that utter bitch, Turner! Let’s see how tough she talks when I’m humiliating her in front of everyone.”
“You know what those fans are like Karen, it’s going to be all over the internet in seconds. Even recorded live.”
“Good! All we have to do is get them to start the fight so we’re in the clear.”
The friends hugged again, now excited at the prospect of taking their revenge.

Emma walked into the event through the crowd who were screaming her name and trying to approach her. She gave a smile and a wave and realised just how much attention she got, even when surrounded by so many famous people. It was quite mad and quite enjoyable.
As she entered she saw that her new friend, Sophie Turner was scheduled to be answering some questions with a handful of other Game of Thrones actors in less than five minutes. She spotted her tall friend near the main stage and moved away from the backstage area where she was supposed to be to catch her before she went on. Sophie had on a beautiful pink dress.
“Hi, darling.” Emma waved to her as she approached.
Sophie beamed back.
“So glad you’re here, Emma. Just takes the class up a notch, you know?”
“Oh, I do.” Emma smiled.
At that point, it happened. Jenna Coleman and Karen Gillan were rushing past the pair and Karen appeared to stumble slightly. Her glass of red wine almost fell out of her hand and its contents flew through the air spilling all down Sophie’s dress.
Sophie stood with her hands to her side, drenched.
“What have you done you clumsy, bitch?” Emma started up.
“Don’t talk to her that way.” Jenna replied.
“I think it improved you.” Karen whispered to Sophie.
Turner grabbed Karen by the hair. Jenna intervened, trying to pull her hand off her friend and as soon as she did Emma slapped her across the face.
The brawl began, two very clear fights happening side by side. Who wins?
