Fourth round is over, the fifth is coming tomorrow. Here is the post-round recap with a couple of big upsets decided by a single vote.
Lydia Cornell (39) vs Hunter Tylo (33)
Despite nothing to show for on the plus side, Hunter gave her all thinking she can outmuscle Lydia. However the blonde is slowly but surely getting comfortable in the competition and proved her strenght against the brunette. After a fairly even fight, mostly with both women rolling on the floor trying to gain an advantage it was Lydia who came out on top and pinned Hunter for her third victory overall.
Kathleen Turner (42) vs Virginia Madsen (32)
This was a pure case of outmuscling her opponent and Kathleen Turner firmly showed why she was a favourite to win this one from the start. Hard punches quickly dispatched Virginia onto her corner and since Kathleen wasn't going to give her any favours, she continued her attack until Virginia crumbled on the floor alltogether.
Kate Capshaw (42) vs Heather Locklear (35)
The experts were split on who's quicker and it seems like Heather was overconfident in thinking she was the one. Kate may be few years older but is no slouch and once she grabbed Heather's flesh, she smothered the younger blonde and had little trouble of finishing her off, as byline would have wished, with a crotch stomp.
Kim Delaney (34) vs Kim Wilde (41)
Battle of the two Kims went in favour on the blonde who's beginning to show, Wilde is not only her name but also a style of fighting. The brunette Kim managed to stay on her feet long enough to make it her most competitive fight thus far, but she couldn't match the blonde's Kim aggression who ended up kicking the brains out of her brunette namesake.
Tracy Scoggins (38) vs Brooke Shields (39)
A genuine upset here allthough byline had this on the cards. Tracy Scoggins seemed to be an overwhelming favourite but after losing three fights Brooke Shields was desperate on finding a winning tactic. And that proved to be staying out of Tracy's reach for most of the fight. Tracy could have easily knocked out Brooke if she could only get her within her fists, but Brooke had other ideas and attacked Tracy's legs, tripping her over. Once they got on the ground, Brooke was able to use her fists against Tracy's face and it was Tracy's stuffing that got punched out in the end.
Kathy Ireland (48) vs Rebecca de Mornay (28)
This time both GlamourFights and barbosa had the experts' edge as Kathy was simply too big and powerful for the malicious but overwhelmed Rebecca. In fact, the tall model beat up the blonde actress so badly, it ended up as the second worst trouncing only behind Sharon Stone's win over Rosanna Arquette.
Samantha Fox (35) vs Catherine Oxenberg (44)
The petite singer's early antics seemed to have taken a stall for the time being as Catherine Oxenberg firmly chased & tossed her around into sheer exhaustion and eventual submission. Samantha begged for Catherine to stop the onslaught, but Catherine was keen on winning by a stampedous KO and that's what she got much to her pleasure.
Meg Ryan (38) vs Cindy Margolis (37)
If Brooke Shields' win was an upset, then Meg Ryan's was a mega upset. Nobody but byline had this one in mind and most certainly not Cindy Margolis. Teasing Meg Ryan with that cleavage was risky at best and sure enough, Meg didn't bother to do anything else rather then ripping the model's tits off. Neither of Cindy's opponents managed to do that before and Meg held on despite Cindy's heavy punches landing on her face. Finally Cindy couldn't take the pain and dropped on her knees and Meg kicked her into submission after a very long and intense fight.
