Musings on Recent Suitefights
« on: February 12, 2022, 06:26:19 PM »
I have had the pleasure recently of watching several of the newest releases  from Suitefights, below are just some general comments.

Sarah vs Lora - This contest was particularly interesting, because as a rule, Sarah Brooke simply steamrollers most of the competition.  What makes Sarah Brooke such a good catfighter?  It is a combination of things in my opinion.  For one thing, she is in excellent physical  shape and demonstrates remarkable stamina.  Several of her fights she starts out by being tossed around, but eventually her opponents simply become winded and then she overwhelms them.  She also clearly has some actual formal skills, she can wrestle and many of her opponents cannot, this allows her to pin them down, frustrate them and wear them down.  Finally she is just determined (stubborn).  She keeps coming and coming and just holds out longer.  While all of her fights are entertaining they are not all competitive, but certainly in Lora she has met a true match.  While Lora looks somewhat lighter, she is corded with muscle, has great stamina and some trained skills.  I think it was the most challenging match up I have ever seen Sarah in, very interesting.

Aubrey vs Brooke - Some people were disappointed in this contest because a lot of it was fought on their feet.  I generally prefer close in struggle as opposed to kicking and punching, so my personal expectations were not high.   As it turns out, I found the contest very entertaining.  While a lot of it was fought standing, a great deal of that was fought body to body with twisting, wrestling and clutching.  When it comes to size, shape, condition they seemed very well matched.  I think some people might have been disappointed only because the two women were so polite and professional.  It is clear that neither were angry or upset.  Both worked to be fight fair.  It made for an easy and enjoyable contest to watch but perhaps lacks the hateful intensity some may desire.  Which brings us to ...

Vika  vs Alexa - While the actual fight is fairly short the intensity is through the roof.  I would call Alexa's style (again in my opinion) pure catfighter.  She generally wades right in, grabs hair, slaps, kicks, gets them down and gets on top.  It is as direct as it is effective.  I would say from watching her she has clearly been in a few girl fights.  I would call Vika's style more backyard wrestling.  It I was placing bets I would  have expected Alexa to flatten Vika.   As it turns out I was wrong.  The fight was intense from the word GO, and it was quite a struggle.  It was stopped twice once for injury and once for tempers.  There have been a lot of comments floating around, "Alexa just wanted to quit", "Vika cheated", etc.  I wasn't there.  I don't know any of them but from looking at the clip I would say all those remarks were unfair.  So what happened?  In a contest with inexperienced fighters, bodies moving around, quick actions, pushing, slapping, twisting, blows will fall where they shouldn't.  If you trust the other person is trying to be fair then you accept this as an 'accident'.  But in most of these matches the opponents don't know each other well at all.  It is easy to read ...missteps... as intentional.  Where they accidents or deliberate?  I can't say.  What it makes for is what many seem to want, an angry, frustrated battle.  Of course this means the producer has to stop it and so such contests are brief.

This brings me to the last remark  which is the producer can never satisfy everyone.  If they fighters are calm and get in a good long contest (Aubrey vs Brooke) then the producer is accused of cooking up something lukewarm.  If tempers flare and sparks start to fly then the contest is short (Vika vs Alexa).   It is a rare day that you get an intense struggle that goes on for a long time (Jess vs Mira).  If you want a firestorm go look for catfights on YouTube, but accept most rarely run more than 1 minute, because that is reality.

I have only glanced at the Emma vs Angel contest but they seem very well matched.  A shame there were stomach issues, I would love to see them matched again.

Not only that but you need to be in shape and have great stamina to fight in this type of match. SF usually has 5 minute rounds so anything going past the 4th round is rare. Sara and Lora are absolute pros to have been able to do that and you explained perfectly why. I also liked Aubrey vs Brooke, they went 20 minutes and now after watching it a dozen times I definitely have more appreciation for that match. Still wanna see Steve match up Brooke with a pro like Alexa and let them go all out. These two are veterans and would definitely stick to the rules, but neither one is gonna give up easily so we could get a classic long match with everything we want to see. Hair pulling, face slapping, kicking and hopefully a school girl pin ftw which both claim to be their favorite move.

As a supplement to my comments above.  I have just finished watching Angel vs Emma.

I can't say why (maybe because they are both petite?) but there is something about watching the two of them clash that I can only categorize as 'adorable.'.

They are both attractive, dressed sexily.  They fight hard, hairpulling, dirty moves, wrestling body to body on the floor.

The beginning of round #2 I would call a 'catball'.

Emma comes out strong on round #3.

They are very well matched.  Angel definitely seems to have gotten the hang of this format and Emma is quite game.  I would definitely love to see a rematch.

Only issue people had with Vika vs Alexa was that the fight could've continued with a rest period.  That's not a fantasy but a reality, and saying just go to YouTube is a slap in the face of people who want real content and have bought content from Steve that had said content in the past. It's a fight, tempers flare, doesn't mean everything has to be canceled. Safety concerns are understandable but when a fight gets stopped so early on, of course fans are gonna have issue s with that. But I agree that camera and production was still top notch and was a nice watch.

I will continue to support Steve even if I haven't really been happy with the last three. He is above board and will tell you in advance if things weren't classic SF. No other producer that I am aware of does this. No worked matches, no fakery, no ridiculous hype.

I think Steve needs to book a big fight, one that will certainly be long... He seems very dissapointed with the recent ones. Little Rampage is almost begging for a fight on Twitter and Dolce said she would fight for whatever producer we want... Maybe book those 2 to fight? I think would be a hell of a battle and certainly would give some hopes for Steve. We have Valor returning for the catfight world (she could be featured on a SF as well), there are other girls who certainly would accept fighting for SF, the known ones.

Yeah ppl may say the same person over and over, but the more experienced usually have the best fights (Sarah for example) so i think he needs to have a big fight that everyone will like and that we know will be entertaining.

I'm all up for Dolce fighting on SF, just don't know who will be her opponent... But she always delivers a great fight.

I disagree, think dolce is too fat for a suite fights catfight, and although Sarah was awesome, i feel Steve needs to get new blood in to continue making memorable fights. Kind of like the ufc, it can't rely on old talent forever. It would be the same as if Chuck Lidell was still being promoted, sometimes new faces have to become staples imho

There's no weight limit/body shape limit on SF... Anyone can fight there. Dolce isn't fat too. Sarah is still the best one out there... She always delivers great fights despite the fact that she dominates 90% of her opponents. I always like to see Sarah fighting and always will. The same applies to Dolce. Steve can invite her to fight or not, it depends on him but i doubt he has a "body limit" to who he will book for a fight. Body shape and the fighter itself means nothing... Dolce can come in and deliver one of the best fights ever or not as well as Lora came in against Sarah who always dominates everyone and made one of the best fights ever with fans demanding a rematch until this day.

Yeah, Lora's body and stamina was great. Think her being matched up with another girl or a rematch would be interesting to watch.

I would love to see a rematch! I didn't like the way it ended, i wish they just kept fighting... I think that both wanted to keep fighting but Steve ended it because of Sarah's tits. Still, i would 100% support a rematch. This time Sarah will come prepared knowing that she won't win by doing the usual things hahahaha

It sounds like Carmilla will be coming back for another fight. Who would you like to see her go up against? I know a rematch with Vika would be cool, but I'd prefer to see a new fight with maybe someone like Vivian Fox who was previously scheduled to fight Aubrey.

How 'bout Carmilla going against Asian Jacky Fey. This would be a good one.

I third it! Jacky Fay was awesome. She recently
expressed interest in coming back to
SF.
