Jane Russell 39 vs Gina Lollobrigida 44 : {Pundits 3:2}
Jane was favored over Gina slightly mainly due to her size and strength. Once again Gina proved the old adage about the size of the fight in the dog being more important than the size of the dog in the fight. To tell the truth, the fight was back and forth for most of the fight. Gina finally got control of Jane at the end, perhaps due to Jane’s age.
GF: Jane, you start off well in your fights and then end of losing. Isn’t it time you admitted that you are past your prime and too old for catfighting?
Jane Russell: Past my prime? Just ask, er, no name, who is the best in bed they have ever had. And I mean lately. Come close and a fist in your mouth will show you I can still fight. The fucking bitch bit me, that’s why I lost! See the teeth marks on my throat. That’s right is was on the throat where the officials couldn’t see it. I though she would bite my larynx off. I quit when her teeth started to clamp on my ear. I was afraid she would bite it right off.
GF: Well, Gina, is that true? Did you really bite her?
Gina Lollobrigida: Maybe a nip or two. Nothing like what she describes. Why is she complaining about a tiny bite here or there anyway? It is a catfight isn’t it? Have you even seen cats fight? It’s all teeth can claws. She lost not because I bit her but because I am much better catfighter. I punish her hold body and then rip out chunks of hair. She can’t take it and quits. That’s the truth, not her lies.
Yvonne Craig 50 vs Lisa Gaye 32: {Pundits 5:0}
Yvonne used her powerful legs on Lisa. But not squeezing you like you might think. She kicked her down then danced on her chest, belly, and crotch. Lisa’s body didn’t’ take Yvonne’s efforts at tap dancer very well and she suffered a terrible beating.
GF: Yvonne, you suffered what many consider a humiliating loss to a rather weakly performing Diana Rigg. Did you vent you anger on poor Lisa Gaye to give her the 4th worst beat down this round? You were picked unanimously to win which is something that doesn’t happen often.
Yvonne Craig: Only the 4th worst beating? How disappointing. What can I tell you. It was like pounding a lifeless piece of meat. The only thing Lisa hurt was the bottom of my feet as I danced on her bony body/.
GF: Lisa, those are pretty harsh words. What can you say in your defense?
Lisa Gaye: There’s more to life than winning as long as you do your best. Guess I didn’t do my best this time. I would love to shut the trap of such an arrogant, poor, winning. I heard Mamie say she might consider herself a poor loser but she is a thousand times classier than Yvonne. I could make excuses of why I lost but I won’t. Reality is that I just didn’t perform. I will try harder in my next my next fight.
Elizabeth Taylor 32 vs Diana Dors 51 : {Pundits 1:4}
A blonde vs brunette fight that was a delight for all blonde fans. Diana not only beat up Elizabeth badly in the 3rd worst beat down but then she paraded Elizabeth around like a trophy. She made Elizabeth grovel at her feet and be her slave.
GF: Elizabeth, let’s face it, you were humiliated in this fight by a blonde. Can you show your face in front of other brunettes after this.?
Elizabeth Taylor: You impudent shithead! I am not the only brunette who got her assed kicked by a blonde this time. And those brunettes were bigger than their blondes. Look at the size of that cow? Big an fat. No, I am not ashamed. But I will teach her a lesson the next time because of the way she treated me after I said I had had enough. No class and no brains. Just a blonde, hussy.
GF: Diana, was it really necessary to make Elizabeth grovel after you had beaten her so thoroughly?
Diana Dors: Yes it was. You hear the way she talks. I hate brunettes like her who think they are better than us blondes. She wants to teach me a lesson next time. Well, come on slut. You can’t fight and you can’t keep a man. How many have you run through already?
Claudia Cardinale 42 vs Anita Ekberg 43 : {Pundits 2:3 and 1 draw}
Anita was slightly favored by the pundits with byline producing a draw. It almost was a draw with Anita winning at the last second. There was no finesse in this fight. It was all raw power and a real slugfest. Claudia and Anita ended up in a punch out with each taking turns hitting the other. Bellies, abs, breasts, cheeks, jaws, and was that a crotch hit or two I saw? The two women went two to two right done to the wire. The punches got weaker but so were their ability to take the punishment. Claudia actually might have had a slight advantage by always getting the first hit as they traded blows. As the two women cold barely stand, Anita delivered a blow than finally made an exhausted Claudia sink down - or was it a gust of wine? Anita tottered but stood up for the required time before she also slumped down on top of Claudia. The fight could have gone either way.
GF: Claudia, I say the same thing to you I did to Sophia. Both fights were billed as the Latin temperament against the Viking Queens (with liberal use of Viking for Ursula). Both you and Sophia had your foe almost put away. But they can back and won. How does that make you feel?
Claudia Cardinale: Sick to my stomach. No, literally as my stomach feels like mush. I would say the Viking Queens are phonies who use playing possum to rest. We kind Italians back off and let them recoup only to find out they have been bluffing all the time. Next time I will kill her instead of being merciful to a thoroughly beaten blondie.
GF: Anita, how do you answer that?
Anita Ekberg: I think Ursula said it as well as I can. So much for the Latin temperament. They expend a lot of energy in a useless rage with no technique and no staying power. They cheat by attacking before the bell and by using any sneaky means to gain an advantage. Still they can’t win. They have no chance in a fair fight and they know it. I think the results speak loud and clear.
Rhonda Fleming 42 vs Jane Fonda 40: {Pundits 2:3}
Jane is very fast and Rhonda looks more solid but is faster than expected Jane has the enthusiasm and wildness of youth while Rhonda is an experience catfighter. But both were coming off tough fights so the fight was slower than expected. The experts favored Jane but hindsight should tell them that a slow fight was to Rhonda’s advantage. Sure enough she won the second closest fight of the round by getting Jane underneath her to take away Jane’s speed and enthusiasm. It was a close win but both women seemed like they were resting to gain strength and energy for their next fight.
GF: Rhonda, you took three terrible beatings in a row. I admire your intestinal fortitude to even come out and fight let alone win. My hat off to you, I have gained new respect for you. How did you do it?
Rhonda Fleming: If you are a true professional actress you learn to come out and do you job no matter how you feel. At least if you can drag yourself there which is what I had to do here. Otherwise you are wasting lots of people’s time and lots of money. That gets instilled in you. I am sure there are many women in these tournament who would do the same and only a few well-known slackers. Don’t’ forget, Jane had quite a few hard fights that takes its toll even if the only huge beating was by Ursula. So give her credit. She had to drag herself here the same as me. I guess I just outlasted her and got on top of her to use my greater weight and, I think, strength.
GF: Jane, you are fighting to say in the top half of the ranking with Martha Hyer breathing hot on your tail and Angie Dickinson close behind. This loss must have been hard to take since you gave so great an effort from an exhausted body. Is that correct?
Jane Fonda: Any loss is hard to take. I really thought that Martha was in worse shape and I could out quick her. Get her down while I had enough energy to put her away. It didn’t work out that way. She is one gutsy lady and quicker than I gave her credit for. I think when both fighters are tired, experience becomes a bi factor and she certainly ahs more experience. Experience allows you to conserve energy and that is what she did effectively.
Joi Lansing 45 vs Barbara Eden 40: {Pundits 4:1}
Both Joi and Barbara are on the light side with Barbara being quite short to boot. Joi is known as the better hairpuller but Barbara would beg to differ. The fight is a classic catfight of weaker fighters. Lots of hairpulling, slapping, take downs followed by rolling back and forth. Joi and Barbara have long, slender legs (even if Barbara is on the short side) Their legs are flexible and often were intertwined as they rolled for those who like leg action. The fight ended with a double body scissors. Joi had the slightly stronger legs or more resistance and it was Barbara who tapped out first in 5th closest fight.
GF: Joi, in spite of your small frame, lightweight, and apparent lack of strong muscles you have a winning record and are in 13th place, ahead of some pretty big and tough women. To what do you attribute that as many scoff at your ability to win fights?
Joi Lansing: Let them scoff. It’s all about knowing how to use your muscles, being smart, and believing in yourself. Go read what Kim Novak said. Some have referred to her as being vapid and not very bright. Boy, are they wrong. Anyway, if you haven’t noticed, body builders don’t make good wrestlers. They had no flexibility or speed. They are used to static resistance and not how to use their muscles for athletic activities. I am very flexible, quick, and knowledgeable in catfight moves. I don’t have to think but react to properly to a situation when I feel where and how the other woman’s weight is placed. If you and I were to arm wrestle you would beat me in a second or less. But try to take me down and you will see what I mean. You will be on your ass so fast you won’t know what hit you. [ed note. I was sorely tempted to take her upon that offer. I mean what’s so bad about being on your back with Joi on top of you.]
GF: Barbara, you started out very well in the beginning of the tournament but your fortunes have waned over time. You fought well against he slender, light Joi but ended up losing. Has the magic gone? Has the genie lost her spell?
Barbara Eden: Let’s be honest. I am short, light, and not very muscular. I am fast and tricky. To win against bigger women I need an element of surprise. I am sure they are watching my fights on tape. They get to know what I do when. My magic is my suddenly springing something on them and that is lost. As for Joi, she is just a great catfighter. She is as fast as me and a little more experienced. Nay a lot more experienced as she has been in many more fights than me. And she is much stronger than she looks. She seems to know about angles and leverage as she traps you in a way you can’t get out.
Jayne Mansfield 45 vs Ava Gardner 37: {Pundits 2:3}
Another great blonde vs brunette fight with the brunette being 10 pounds heavier this time. The pundits favored Ava slightly but one again Jayne defied the odds and won. It was a crushing win but it was a fairly comfortable win. She simply out hair pulled Ava and was more aggressive. Ava did try and crush Jayne’s 18’ waist between her big thighs but Jayne found the fortitude to resist and finally escaped. Jayne then got on Ava’s back and yanked her head back so hard it almost snapped Ava’s neck before she tapped out.
GF: Jayne, once again many predict you are going to lose and you win. Why don’t you get more respect?
Jayne Mansfield: You heard barbosa, I have the reputation of being a creampuff because some big Latina bitch jumped me. Once you have a reputation it is hard to get rid of it. My record should tell them otherwise. But I would like to say to barbosa that I do not hate him. I thank him for the compliment of saying how sexy and beautiful I am even though I think he says it with a bit of tongue-in-cheek. I don’t hate him, I love him. He inspires me to win. When some thunder thighed bitch like Ava is crushing my tiny waist I think of his words and absolutely refuse to give in. He is my unwitting hero.
GF: Ava, you said Jayne had skinny arms, skinny legs and no muscle to complete with you. She beat you convincingly. You never even got a chance to touch her breast let alone wreck them. Have you changed your mind?
Ava Gardner: She is skinny and weak. I am ashamed I lost to her. It is a disgrace for me. She is so skinny and her waist so small there isn’t enough to crush. Why my knees hit each other before I could crush her. She is so frail I was afraid of breaking her bones so I hesitated at times. That is my excuse.
Bettie Page 40 vs Tina Louise 44 : {Pundits 0:4}
The experts picked Tina to win this unanimously but it ended up being a close fight. Tina got the better of Bettie in the 4th closest fight of round. Bettie came out very aggressively and had Tina fighting for her life. Bettie used some of her favorite humiliation and dominatrix moves on Tina for the first three quarters of the fight. Tina finally escaped and turn the tables. Tina was finally able to use her long legs to squeeze Bettie and weaken her. Once Bettie was subdued Tina couldn’t resist giving Bettie one of her own spankings.
GF: Bettie, I have seen many of your photo series. You like to be a dominatrix and also like to be dominated. You had it both ways in this fight. Why didn’t you finish Tina off when you had her right where you wanted her, i.e., “assume the position.”
Bettie Page: What you must understand is that I get very sexually aroused dominating big, fleshy, sultry women like Tina, either blonde or redhead. She was so easy a prey I thought she had no fight left in her. I miscalculated in my haste have my way sexually with her. I wanted her strong enough to resist because that makes it more fun, to force my will on her. But she had more fight left in her than I thought. Perhaps she is better actress than I have seen in her movies or television appearances. U let her off the hook.
GF: Tina, it looked like Bettie had your number. She was making you look foolish and humiliating you> she almost got you tied up to do her complete set of dominatrix punishments on you. You somehow came back to get a close win over her. How did you do that?
Tina Louise: Her treatment of me made me so mad I found new energy and aggressiveness to fight her off. She did outfight me at the start. I’ll give her credit for that. Every move I made it seemed like she was a step ahead and used my move against me. Forget that nonsense about her wanted to take me sexually. Never in a rat’s ass. She is in fantasyland. I just kept fighting back until I wore her out and then overpowered her. As I said, I underestimated her fighting ability at the start because so many say she is a fake and phony. They should try fighting her.
