As we know one of the most popular fantasies is a mixed wrestling match with a hot member of the opposite sex, with a great prize for the winner. The stuff of guy’s and some women’s dreams; and also the stuff of history!!
In the 13th century there was a (verifiably factual) Mongol princess, a great granddaughter of the great Mongol lord Genghis Khan. His realm, in his time, was the greatest contiguous empire in human history, extending over most of modern China, to the edge of Europe and to the Middle East. In 1260 AD a daughter was born to King Kaidu, a cousin of Kublai khan, and hrough him a descendant of the Great Khan, She was named Khutulun (Shining Moon). Her Father followed the traditional warlike culture of the Mongol Horde, a culture centered on the horse. Her 14 brothers, her father and her heritage was one of fighting. Yep, you guessed it, this princess was a fighter, a wrestler specifically. IRL was. Her Father had ideas about the sort of fellow such a high status woman ought to marry. Shining Moon chose a different path to wealth and (for the time, for a woman) independence and political power.
Khutulun challenged any male to wrestle her and if he could defeat her the princess would be his bride. IF the guy lost he owed her a prize of horses. Reliable sources, including Marco Polo, report no man could take her, and that she amassed 10,000 prize horses!! She died in her mid 40s, in 1306. A scene of her kicking some (soon to be poorer) warrior’s ass is included in the Netflix series "Marco Polo", and a movie "Princess Khutulun" was made about her.
Hell yeah guys! Can’t ya just imagine reading it in a profile here?? “I grew up with lots of brothers and sure learned how to fight. I fact, I’ve never lost a mixed match; I’m getting beyond rich just betting on myself. I can’t tell my real name cuz I’m already becoming a Legend. Just call me Your Highness. Want me in yer bed? Sure thing, let’s get down in the dirt arena, Win me” WOW the BS ya hear in cyber, right. Unbelievable!
