Barb's Catfight Board
« on: November 20, 2023, 03:51:59 AM »
Help please! I want to use the wayback machine to see Barb's women's wrestling site. Does anyone remember that site and, if you do, do you remember what it was called? It was a treasure trove back in the day. Thanks for any help y'all can give.

Do you mean Barbara the doctor and her page - Combative women? Who was a women's wrestling enthusiast?

It was called the Combative Women's Web Site and was the best forum for this stuff  ... I wish there was one like it now.

One of the frequent posters there asked Barb permission to post a tribute to the site and was granted permission , but the active forum part was not there - which was the best part .... it was very active everyday. Too active actually as too much arguing between fans had Barb shut it down. You might find this tribute site but I don't have the link, etc.

But I remember it very well and miss it.   :'(

I've missed her site ever since its demise. I still have links to the tribute site, but within the past few months even that has gone cold. Sad for us aficionados.

This site is the only thing that comes close to Barb's Combative Women's Website, and that's why I frequent it.  Those who operate this site do an excellent job and deserve our thanks for doing so.

Barb was a pioneer in the field of  women's recreational and competitive wrestling, and her site also served as an outlet for us men who are captivated by the spectacle of two women engaging in this type of activity.

I know that she was having some medical issues way back when.  I think of her often and hope that she is well.

Since it went down , have you ever heard anything about Barb herself ... hope things are well with her.

There are things currently that weren't anything like they were then ....  clips were not posted everywhere and the more erotic  trib and 'sex fight' stuff were just getting started by Cal Wildcats and DWW , etc.

I remember someone from the forum there started another FF forum to fill in the void Barb's left but it didn't  take off like hers. I would have thought it would be welcomed and a lot of the regulars from her place would have been there, but seems like they disappeared like the site did.

I was excited when I found this place but it's been a disappointment as far as talking about the interest with others but those who run it do a great job - too bad there aren't more members willing to post back and forth. I think  that is just a sign of the times ... so much available at a simple click of a button, unlimited amount of producers, etc.

When I discovered Barb's site you were still waiting for stuff ordered to arrive in the mail and just the idea of talking to others who shared the same interest was epic !

And it was great to have real women who actually wrestled posting too .  Great times !!
