Over a drink during happy hour
Or shopping at Victoria secret
The Victoria's Secret example got me to thinking: in my experience f-on-f tensions actually got elevated not in "feminine" surroundings and environments, but in "masculine" one's.
What I mean by that is: in a place like Home Depot, or say a Harley Davidson, where 85% of the customers and staff are male, if two women see each other, they are far more likely to size each other up and issue challenging stares. My theory is it's because they want to be the better woman present in the eyes of the male audience.
So it seems like a potential place to issue, or receive, a challenge.
