FRIGHT FEST TIME!!  SCARY MOVIES ANYONE??

The CONJURING .. finally saw it tonight.. JONICA was Sooooooooooooooooooooo right.. totaly gets off the hook, and in your face.
Once the creepiness began, it was basically hitting you from all angles.. Subtle creepy to WTF major incidents.
Theater was good sized crowd, for late sunday night. Start of the film, loose chatter here and there.. THEN soon as things began happening. they came one after another.. and another.. Just busted you in and kept coming.

Feeling so tense inside theater.. think if someone had farted out loud. Half of them would have left their seats screaming..
Even better being based on real events... For creep out effect and simply screws with your nerves.. Put it up with Original Amityville horror, The fog, poltergeist and exorcist .. Lot of intense and well done scenes for your buck...

THAT said.. anyone else have a fave horror movie, that just makes it hard to sleep after watching??

ALSO preview for movie coming out FRIDAY sept 13th.. Insidious 2 has potential.. Anyone see the original Insidous??

FORGOT To add this...
IF you like based on real event horror/ ghost movies/ stories..... Amityville horror... and the conjuring..
Things you can try and find ...

The Demonologist .. Book by Gerald Brittle  MORE cases of the Warrens, including Annabelle if you saw conjuring. Case mentioned at start, told in that book.

The Haunted ... By Robert Curran book
ALSO movie same name.. starred Sally Kellerman think it was...  ALSO based on real events... Maybe fave fact MANY witnesses.
Family had fled the home to try and rest. So much activity was going on while NO one was home. Emergency personal had been called by neighbors to the home.

See no one adding in, with the quotes and animated movie challenge ..

Sooooooooooo back to more real action ..

Mask of Zorro .. with Banderas and Catherine Zeta Jones...

She definately is a woman, you could fall for, just seeing her standing there, and smiling.

Mel Brooks movies are GREAT for this .... You can watch them over, and over. Still missing a gag or something going on, in the background.

Anyone else have a FAVE movie... they love, and have watched many times. That to your surprise, most recent viewing. You caught something you never noticed before??
Kind of like Wizard of Oz, where thet briefly have the scarecrow packing a gun.

One of my fave movies... Count of Monte Cristo ... Version with Jim Cazaviel ..
Never spotted this, until this time.
The small door, used to slide in food bowl, his cell. At one point, he has his lost fiancess name written on it.

ANYONE else.. care to try for the Catfights EAGLE EYE award. For catching something new, a fave movie of yours??

Let's go we're burning daylight!!  Just curious  is that the Cowboys movie you listed??  If so yeahhh great add, plus Bruce Dern plays a villain very well. PLus gets a LOT more screen time, than he did in War Wagon...

THREE MUSKETEERS ...  Was in the sword and time  period mode.. Soooo after Count of Monte Cristo  watched this again.
Tim Curry always his best, as a villain!!

"Now only a fool would try and arrest us twice in the same day."  "By order of the cardinal, your under arrest!!"
Looking at each other... "A fool!!"
Great cast ... some good lines, and very well done action scenes.
