With Paul Rudd on board I was ACTUALLY hoping they were going to bust out Eric O'Grady and the Irredeemable Ant-Man, ogling Miss Marvel in the showers and whatnot.  But Scott Lang is a good second choice.

It provides opportunity for GREAT effects, with the micro-cosm he lives in, and his first appearance with the Avengers will be friggin' fantastic.

I wish they would bring on a Miss Marvel ... Think maybe Brooklyn Decker from BattleShip could fill out her costume very nicely. Have to say think my fave outfit for her.. The Black, with gold like lightning bolt down the front. Almost like a single piece swimsuit look main piece.

Any other face Avengers you would like seeing made reality, as well as who should play them??
With Ant Man are they doing an intro for Janet Van Dyne??  The Wasp??

Well Scott Lang is an ex-con, so they may do a melding of the two.  I liked Irredeemable Ant-Man because it seemed more realistic (you can shrink, what do you do?).

All in all, I like the slow roll out Marvel is doing with their universe, now if only Sony and Fox can get on the ball and expand their universes.

I'm 99% sure that Sony and Fox will not be introducing ANY other character than what were specifically allowed in their initial contracts with Marvel - since the Mouse now runs the Merry Marching Marvel Society with an iron white glove, they're going to lock that shit DOWN until the contracted films are made and they can relaunch the X-Men and Spidey as THEIR properties.

Which is too bad, because we'll lose Hugh Jackman's Wolverine and Alfred Molina's Doc Ock and Kelsey Grammer's Beast, but good because we'll also lose Eric Forman as Venom and Ken Leung as Spiky Hug Guy (why did the third movies in those series suck so awfully?).

We may be waiting a bit for Disvel (Or Marney..what's a good portmanteau for House of Mouse and House of Marvel?) to get their hands on the properties that Sony and Fox have. It sounds like as long as they make movies within a certain time, the deal renews. That's why Fox is trying to get an FF movie going.  I have to say though I like the idea that all 3 studios have their own universe of heroes. I think it's pretty apparent from watching Agents of SHIELD and the end scene of CA:TWS that there are no mutants in that 'verse.  It'll make for unique experiences all around.

In anticipation for Amazing Spider Man 2, I've been watching Sam Raimi's Spider Man. It was a great kick that the movie momentum needed to get Marvel stuff going.

Have to admit one character I would love seeing. Would be the Enchantress in the Thor settings.. Would have to take one very hot lady. To get away, casting spells and wearing that sexy outfit.

Jessica Drew SpiderWoman another sexy and able to be bad ass female.

There are a bunch of characters out there. That are not contracted into any current runs so far. Felicia Hardy the Black Cat would look great, styling and stealing her way through a spider man.

If they do Fantastic Four again .. Would be great adding some of the Inhumans ... as well as She hulk .. Who was member at times.

Scott Lang was also in the extended FF, for that matter.  And so was Moon Knight, who was tangentially referenced in the new movie.

Frankly, if Disney is going full on B-side shit with Guardians of the Galaxy and the Collector and so forth, I want them to do a Heroes for Hire movie.  Fuck yes.  The time is now for Heroes for Hire - because the first one could be the origins, meeting, initial fighting and then joining up of Iron Fist and Power Man, and then the sequel could be like fucking Mysterymen and bring in all those street-level heroes who have done work for Heroes for Hire over the years.  The Daughters of the Dragon.  The Prowler.  Shang Chi.  Black Knight.  Darkhawk.  Show Falcon getting some side gigs with them between working with Cap.

Slither to me was great B-movie horror genre pure fucking fun, although the movie was a commercial failure.  The set it up in the post credits scene with a cat nibbling on the parasites's remains and it becomes infected as the guy did at the beginning of the movie to become this tentacled almost slug like creature was a great set-up. The stage was set for a sequel but I wouldn't hold my breath.  Not gonna happen when a movie loses money.

Its still a gross out monsterously funny alien invasion zombie type horror flick and I thought it succeeded at that.

Guardians of the Galaxy is being set up to be the Marvel Hit of the Summer and I'd be shocked if it didn't succeed.  James Gunn will be directing it too and he will have a much bigger budget than he had on Slither.
Watch this one......it might just blow us all away if they put the money and the right minds and tech behind it.

I'm crossing my fingers for a fun ride thru the galaxy :)

Keeping the Easter Tradition I say King of Kings  I watch every time it is on.  I do enjoy a good Marvel or DC comics themed movie  :)

I put my favorite movies in 2 eras....I'll call them simply...old...and new.

Old can go back as far as silent films....I am an old movie buff and collector as many know.

The old movie that still blows me away......and still gets me every time......is...

"The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance"

James Stewart (vintage Stewart)...John Wayne...Vera Miles...Thomas Mitchell....Lee Marvin

Its so much more than a western....give it a shot....I bet you'll like it.

Its best remembered for a line hear the end of the movie I will never forget....

My favorite Easter movie is "RoboCop".  The original.

It's a messianic story!  Watch it!  He's tortured, resurrected, and at the end, he walks on water.

Heroes for hire kind of like extended lets see how feedback is for this character ..  Kind of like how about Defenders? Doctor Strange, and at times Valkyrie, Namor, Hellcat, Silver surfer even. Shang Chi and Iron Fist in more recent incarnation.

Heroes has used a lot of characters including Silver Sable, Paladin, Punisher, even Spider Man making the scene. Group core, then you can add any surprise guests into the mix.

BTW they Soooooooooooo need to do a sequal to MysteryMen .. He's the shoveler, he shovels well .. That's his power.
