Edge of Tomorrow was awesome just because two stoned writers got together and were like, "Let's mix Groundhog's Day and Starship Troopers!" and SOME STUDIO WAS LIKE "YES, HERE IS A BIG SACK OF MONEY!"

Also - Big Hero Six FUCKING RULES.

Actually it was just some Japanese writer (Original title was the much better All You Need is Kill) who came up with Edge of Tomorrow.

OK happened to see something online about sequal to Independance Day in the works.. I know there had been a book written, as a sequal.
Anyone hear something about this yet??

Happened to see some channel surfing today.. Talk about interesting choices ...  All 3 Pirates if Carribean original movies on 3 different stations.
Bruce Willis, Sylvester Stallone and Shwarzenegger movies all over .. Fifth element, die hard 1 and 2, Cliffhanger, Rocky 4 and first blood rambo, Last action hero, Terminator 2 ... NON arnold Terminator salvation on a few stations...
Some of these premium package ones ...

LOT of older movies.. thrown in OH yeahh Waterboy, and MR deeds in the mix as well ...  Not a bad day, if you like classic action, instead of college football.

Finally re-watched DESOLATION of SMAUG ... READY for Battle of five armies!!
Chance to catch Guardians in theater final time sunday ...

Anyone else see some liked classics or looking forward to coming to theaters soon?

BTW Monster movie lovers.. Happened to see online .. Possible new project for Gamera in the works. Missed the one in 2006.
NEWER in stores  Rebirth of Mothra ALL 3 movies, blue ray pack ... Third one, not released for awhile.

Storm

(Pssst Irene, Sadie, Michelle or Purple Vixen ... Will save a seat and snacks tomorrow if ya want to watch Guardians again.)

They made Maze Runner too dark and foggy in an effort to make it look visually like the Hunger Games.  My most pleasant surprise of the year has been Interstellar, which I had extremely low hopes for based on the terrible trailer but ended up being a perfect purely humanist story of achievement and exploration that made 2001 look like a bunch of campy junk.

Kentucky Fried Movie helped launch the movie career of Zucker Abrams Zucker of Airplane and Police Squad fame. I recommend you check it out if you like those films. Also the director was John Landis who got the job for Animal House based on this movie.

I believe you mean punishable by death.

Ha haaaa, we're pushing the brink of global war over a Seth Rogen movie.

I think more people will watch it because of the threat than would watch it before.

Seth Rogen movies to me are Tyler Perry movies for stoners.
