Haaaaa, I love you two.  ^_^

My favorite video for "First of May" was actually one linked off the WoW forums with some modded nude WoW models ... classic.  Who hasn't wanted to see three gnomes going down on a tauren?

As for my favorite Epic Rap Battle ...

(I've actually watched since the debut and that AWFUL Lennon/O'Reilly video, but I think their absolute best work has been in the last season.)

Best beat.  Best rhymes.  Best Bob Ross costume.

I used to watch Bob Ross just to relax. I enjoyed that ERB.  One of my favorites tho is this one with two of my favorite performers being portrayed.

I've watched since the beginning too. Can't wait to see more on May 5th!

Another from the Michelle Archives and one of my favorites.....Stevie Ray Vaughn and its "Pride and Joy"

"Pride and Joy" is a blues-rock song by Texas singer/guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughan and his backup band Double Trouble. It is an original composition by Vaughan and appeared on his 1983 Epic Records debut album Texas Flood. "Pride and Joy" was also released as Vaughan's first single and has become one of his best-known songs.

"Pride and Joy" was a feature of Vaughan live repertoire before he recorded it. According to Double Trouble drummer Chris Layton, Vaughan wrote it for a new girlfriend at the time (a later fight with her inspired his "I'm Cryin'").

Well, you've heard about love givin' sight to the blind
My baby's lovin' 'cause the sun to shine
She's my sweet little thing, she's my pride and joy
She's my sweet little baby, I'm her little lover boy

Vaughan's song was released as a single and reached number 20 in Billboard magazine's Mainstream Rock chart.  His album Texas Flood was also a best seller and helped renew interest in blues music.

Another from the Michelle Archives and the legendary Stevie Ray Vaughn ...its..."Voodoo Chile"

For great guitar work....this surpasses almost everything.

"Voodoo Child (Slight Return)" is the last track on "Electric Ladyland", the third and final album by the Jimi Hendrix Experience. The song is known for its wah-wah-heavy guitar work. It is #101 on Rolling Stone's list of 500 greatest songs of all time.

The song was recorded in 1968, and was re-released as a single after Hendrix's death in 1970. It was the A side on a three-track record, and reached Number 1 in the UK. It was catalogued as "'Voodoo Chiled" (Slight Return), and that is the title which appears on the single and is the title referred to officially. The term "slight return" refers to the song's initial role as a reprise of the 15-minute track "Voodoo Chile" featured earlier on the album Electric Ladyland.

Stevie Ray Vaughan covered this on his "Couldn't Stand the Weather" album

Cover versions of this song, with the exception of SRV's are generally lame because they can't get the tonal depth and sustain necessary to carry it. Jimi accomplished that in large part with revolutionay electronic pedal settings and combinations of his own creation. Stevie accomplished it largely by playing (as he always did) with incredibly heavy guitar strings--his high E string is about the same diameter as the low E on the set that will come on an electric guitar from the Gibson or Fender factory. I pity the fool who attempts this song in public with digital amp distortion effects and standard strings--you ain't gonna pull it off.

Another from the Michelle Archives......one of my favorites....

Its by Lorde.....from 2012.....its......"Royals"

Ella Marija Lani Yelich-O'Connor (born 7 November 1996), known by her stage name Lorde (/ˈlɔrd/), is a New Zealand singer-songwriter. Born in Takapuna and raised in Devonport, Auckland, she performed in various singing and drama classes as a child, and at the age of thirteen signed with Universal. Yelich-O'Connor adopted her stage name due to her fascination with "royals and aristocracy", but felt the name Lord was too masculine so added an 'e' to make it more feminine.

Her musical debut was an EP, entitled The Love Club, which was released in November 2012, and her first single, "Royals", debuted at number one on the New Zealand Top 40, and also reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2013, making her the first New Zealand solo artist to have a number one song in the United States. Her debut album, Pure Heroine, was released in September 2013, receiving critical acclaim and commercial success worldwide.

From the Michelle Archives....its a new one and a good one.....

Its from 2013......the artist is Paramore.....and its called....."Aint It Fun"

"Ain't It Fun" is a song by American rock band Paramore from their 2013 self-titled fourth studio album. It was released as the fourth single from the album in 2013 and sent to contemporary hit radio on February 4, 2014.  Musically, it has been described as having influences of funk, soul, and new jack swing. The gospel choir present during the song has received comparisons to the 2004 song "Unwritten" by Natasha Bedingfield.

The song received critical acclaim from music critics, who praised its experimental sound, sarcastic lyrics, and frontwoman Hayley Williams' vocal performance, highlighting it as one of the album's standout tracks. The song charted at number 3 on the UK Rock Charts before the song's release as a single. It has since peaked at number 10 on the Billboard Hot 100, thus making it the band's highest charting song in the U.S. to date and their first song ever to enter the top ten.  It's also their first album to have more than one song chart on the Billboard Mainstream Top 40 since their second studio album Riot! (2007).

Watched the rather excellent Trish/Victoria hardcore Women's Title match from 2002 - kind of a botched ending coming off the snap suplex but damn if they didn't both work hard - and it struck me that they cut out Victoria's awesome old theme song.

Classic.  Especially with the Russian faux-lesbian video.
