One more from the Michelle Archives....its from 2009....and Pink.......its...."Please Don't Leave Me"

"Please Don't Leave Me" is a song from American pop rock singer Pink and the third single taken from her fifth studio album Funhouse. It was released on January 31, 2009. The song received strong airplay in Australia and New Zealand, as well as being added to the BBC Radio 1 A-List playlist in the UK. The music video for "Please Don't Leave Me" was directed by Dave Meyers, and was leaked online before the song's official announcement as a single, alongside the single's cover art. In the USA, the song managed to reach the Top 20, peaking at 17. The song was featured in Suburgatory.

"Please Don't Leave Me" was co-written by Pink and Max Martin, who handled the production as well, for the track. It is one of four songs from the album produced by Max Martin, with the number one single "So What" being another of the four. The song is a mid-tempo track that details a love-hate relationship. Pink sings of someone having a bad effect on her, yet not being able to let go of the person. She insists during the chorus, "I always say how I don't need you, but it's always gonna come right back to this, please don't leave me." The song was one of the first three to be heard and performed from Funhouse, being performed along with "So What" and second single, "Sober", live on Much Music, prior to the album's release.

This is dedicated to absolutely no nobody.....because everybody eventually leaves.....some just sooner than others...

Have a great day everybody...make it musical :)

Another from the Michelle Archives....and the great Fleetwood Mac...its called...."Everywhere"

"Everywhere" is a single released by the British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac from their album "Tango in the Night", written and with lead vocals by Christine McVie.

It was released in the United Kingdom on February 24, 1988 and reached #4 there. In the United States, it was released earlier on November 28, 1987 and reached number 14 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and went to #1 on the U.S. adult contemporary chart, remaining there for three weeks. The song also reached the Top 50 in Australia at number forty-five.

The video of the song is a visual depiction of the poem "The Highwayman" by Alfred Noyes. There are two versions of the video; one features the story with members of the band appearing throughout, while the other doesn't feature the band at all.

from the 1997 live concert - "The Dance"....awesome!

Christine McVie's talent was virtually unmatched....her keyboards....and above all her distinctive vocals.....and how they blended with that of Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham....provides a unique sound that still resonates.

Can you hear me calling out your name?
You know that I'm falling and I don't know what to say
I'll speak a little louder, I'll even shout
You know that I'm proud and I can't get the words out

I wanna be with you everywhere
I wanna be with you everywhere

Somethings happening, happening to me
My friends say I'm acting peculiarly
C'mon baby, we better make a start
You better make it soon before you break my heart

So here we go...and don't you dare touch that dial!...its the great Fleetwood Mac...featuring Christine McVie....and the iconic......"Everywhere"

Have a great weekend everybody....try and make it musical...

This is dedicated to my late father.....who I see "Everywhere"....thank you Dad.....I miss you...the ache never stops....

Happy Father's Day

That last album by the PUSA was CRIMINALLY underrated.  Catchy and jitterbuggy.

Swedish death metal band Opeth does the Blues - awesome closing guitar duet that almost sounds like a combination of Brothers In Arms by Dire Straits and Hotel California by the Eagles.  The singer proves he can sing too as he sings the song cleanly instead of growling.

Here is the shortened official video version where you lose a little bit of the guitar solo as well as the intro

From the Michelle Archives...and one of my favorite artists...Lindsey Stirling..and her very latest release.....her 2nd album....."Shatter Me"........and the single...."Shatter Me"....with the great Lizzy Hale of Halestorm

Shatter Me is the second studio album by violinist and solo artist Lindsey Stirling. It is Stirling's first album to include collaborations with other vocalists, featuring Lzzy Hale and Dia Frampton, and Stirling has said its musical style is more progressive than her first album.  The album was released on 29 April in the United States and 2 May in Germany.  The first single, "Beyond the Veil", was released on 24 March, peaking at number 22 on Billboard Dance and Electronic Digital Songs. The video was posted the following day.  The second single, "Shatter Me", was released on 23 April, accumulating 1.3 million views after one day on YouTube.  During its pre-sale, the album peaked at number one on the US iTunes electronic charts.  On its release in the United States the album reached number two on the Billboard 200, making it Stirling's biggest week of her career in terms of sales. The album peaked on four different Billboard music charts.

If you haven't Lindsey Stirling....then you have truly missed out....she is absolutely the BEST!
