Those ladies who are inexperienced should have rules of engagement for a submission catfight - otherwise their emotions can become carried away and lead to injuries.
For their mutual protection and to encourage a more spontaneous exchange of attacks and defensive measures, rules need to be agreed upon between the women up front. Perhaps the first consideration is to clearly declare prohibited tactics (e.g. biting, scratching, punching, attacks to the face and other areas if appropriate). Just as important to list those tactics that the ladies agree are allowed (e.g. hairpulling, slaps to the body but not the face, nipple attacks, wedgies, etc.).
The "submission" occurs when one woman yields to the dominant lady by announcing "I give!". The dominant lady must then immediately release her opponent. This approach seems to effectively allow the ladies to display their natural feminine fighting skills in a safe environment. Let me know how it works! Also, as a fellow Pittsburgher, I have very fond memories of watching catfights there as an adolescent - really tough females just like the Steelers! Rick
