I have to say that I agree with Sadie too. In a perfect world, that would be the best 'n most entertaining solution. But we all have to face the reality that not everyone feels comfortable posting in detail in these threads. I've been in a bunch of polls here 'n ran a few of them myself so I'm not just pitching in my two cents on a subject I know nothing about.
What we have to remember 'n accept is the fact that there are legitimate reasons why people sign up for these polls but stay silent throughout them, except for maybe a quick drive-by trash talk post or two. Maybe English isn't their first language. Maybe their writing/grammar/spelling skills aren't all that great 'n they feel embarrassed or intimidated to post in public where every member of FCF can read it. Maybe they feel intimidated by the quality of other fighters' posts 'n feel theirs isn't in the same league. Maybe they just don't have the time or availability to get here every day. There are a bunch of reasons why people don't or won't post.
Doing a one on one cyber fight is different, you're writing for one pair of eyes only.... usually a friend or at least someone who understands 'n will be patient or tolerant of yer writing ability, or lack thereof. But these posts in these threads are open to every member of FCF as well as to any guest who wants to take a look.
In group polls, you are gonna have fighters from all over the world being involved in them. Not everyone is at the same writing skill. So if I post a move that is in great detail with lots of descriptions, emotions 'n reactions but my opponent has to use an app to translate her native language into English and it comes out in one sentence, no one should hold that against her. Especially herself. She's trying. But English isn't her native language. That's just one example. It can also be the same for someone whose grammar/writing skills aren't at the same level as her opponent. She would most likely feel self-conscious 'n intimidated to post in public. (We all know how quick some members are to criticize or point out spelling & grammar mistakes.)
So, in any group poll, that's the risk you run. Some will happily post, others won't. We have to accept that.
In one on one polls, both fighters can work together to tell a story that entertains everyone. That's fun for them, fun for us, fun for everyone. Even if they don't post their actual moves, some creative entertaining bitchy trash talking will always spice things up 'n will definitely always get a reaction from the members!
The last thing we need is bad drama. Remember, it's just a poll fight. It's not life or death if you win or lose. Like Sadie said, it's all about having fun.
Okay, I'll jump off my soapbox now. Although it sure was nice being taller for a little bit!

PS - Great job running this poll, Lexi! Love ya, babes!
Good luck to Heidikat 'n Mariella! I voted. For who? I'll never te-ell!
