FLASHBACK 2007: Vanessa Hudgens vs Hayden Panettiere
A debut in the elite celebrity catfight circle is noteworthy enough, but having both combatants make their battling debut is a truly momentous occasion. Hayden and Vanessa had been training intensely for months, the two 18 year olds anxiously awaiting their opportunity...and the chance to settle a personal feud between them.
The spectators were not disappointed on this night. From the very start, Hudgens and Panettiere displayed tremendous still and brilliant technique, the equal of virtually any veteran catfighter. Their savagery was awesome to behold as they tore into one another, but at the minutes ticked by, the battle settled into a stalemate, with neither able to hold the upper hand over the other for long.
That seemed to change as Vanessa delivered a roundhouse kick to her rival's jaw, dropping the blonde to her knees in a seeming daze. But Panettiere was only playing possum, and as Hudgens let her guard down, Hayden threw a wicked uppercut between the brunette's thighs, smashing into Nessa's groin. Hudgens was lifted up on tiptoes, her eyes going wide as saucers as she let out a high-pierced yelp of anguish. She sank her her knees and Hayden moved with all of the swiftness her pain-wracked body could muster; forcing her adversary face down onto the carpet, Panettiere sat on the small of her back and grabbed Vanessa's left leg, lifting and pulling the shapely limb back in a half-Boston Crab. Hudgens shrieked as her leg was ruthlessly stretched, threatening to rend muscles and tendons. The blonde leaned back as far as she could in order to maximize the agony...but that also gave the brunette a sliver of an opportunity.
Suddenly grabbing her rival by her long flaxen hair, Nessa pulled Hayden backward even further. That resulted in even more pain for the brunette's leg, but it also let her wrap her left arm across Panettiere's throat for a chokehold.
Now it was a contest of endurance, to see who would falter first. Panettiere sputtered and gurgled as she struggled for breath, her face purpling as she was strangled. Tears streamed down Vanessa's cherubic cheeks as the blinding agony to her limb increased with every heartbeat. The onlookers sat with bated breath on the edge of their seats, mesmerized by the vicious tableau unfolding before their eyes.
Finally, inevitably, one beauty could endure it no longer.
"NO MORE! STAAAAAAAP!!!" Vanessa wailed, all of her remaining power evaporating as her arms falls limply from Hayden's throat. Panettiere takes a deep gasp for breath and sits up, still pulling back on her conquered rival's leg. Contemptuously, she throws the limb down and struggles up unsteadily to her feet. Hudgens buries her face in her hands and sobs, while Hayden beams a smile that is part glee/part sneer, and she seems to assume the air of a woman who has just decimated her opponent, and not one who had just narrowly snatched victory from the jaws of defeat. Placing a foot upon Vanessa's butt, the blonde smugly puts her hands on her hips, her sweat-glossed body glistening under the lights, and she throws her head back and proclaims, "All hail the Queen!"
