Well, I have to weigh in on this one. I think that fighting in front of you child or children is a bad idea for several reasons. First, if something really ugly were to happen to the parent, the child could be endangered (perhaps by endangering himself) or traumatized. Also, if Mom or Dad is incapacitated, who is going to get the child home safely? I don't think that the youngster in this vid is going to be traumatized, however. I think that the lesson he will learn, and probably already has learned, is that "fightin' is what we do 'round here." Most likely, the family / neighborhood is one where the dads fight, the moms fight, the aunts and uncles fight, the pets fight, etc. He's destined to be a fighter. So be it. And he may well show up on this board in the distant future and post his recollection of this encounter one day.
As far as the fight goes, I have to say that as a BBW lover, this was a good one -- just leave Jr. at home next time. What the one woman was doing in that scooter is a mystery, because she clearly didn't need it. I can only speculate as to why she was in it.
My final observation is in regard to the absence of other people. I think that folks are very reticent to get involved in other people's business because they are afraid of getting into trouble, either with the authorities or with one (or both) of the combatants, and their families. The stories that people (witnesses and combatants) make up following such incidents are enough to convince people to just stay out. Were I a customer there, I would have gone for help before stepping in. I wouldn't stand there and film.
However, I'm somewhat ashamed to admit that I need to thank the person for filming it - it WAS a good fight.
