Wrestling vs Catfight
« on: January 24, 2017, 06:22:20 PM »
I read in Cavalier, years ago, an interview where a female oil wrestler stated wrestling was a more " ladylike way" to release aggression. Guys, would you rather see your lady in an IRL wrestling match or Catfight?

I do love the wrestling, and wouldn't object to it getting a little catty.

My self wrestling. I would rather see the competition of it without someone getting hurt in a way that would cause the outcome of the contest to be overshadowed by an injury. I think submission style wrestling tests of strength allow competition and the ability to show who is the stronger and better woman. I'm not saying you do away with pulling hair or punching just not in the face or pulling hair as a hold. Basically the same rules as pro type wrestling that call for a 5 count to release hair and open hand slaps to the head. I have never wanted to see anyone get hurt but rather just to prove who is the stronger of the two and wrestling also allows for more trash talk. When one gets pinned and the rules don't allow punching to the face you can allow more time for the winner to continue with taunting comparisons of their dominance to the losers submission etc because there's not so much risk of permanent damage.

Wrestling with a sensual/erotic side to it. Maybe a little hair pulling involved.
RIP the account of Sophie Cees.

Catfight not even close. Just not the same without hair pulling and slapping, especially face slapping

As someone who only participates through fantasy and imagination, I'm a fan of catfights. However, if I was going to ever cross that line and do it real life, it would have to be wrestling. I'm pretty sure my husband would agree, as we have discussed this before.  My husband has been in enough fights for me to know that they aren't as fun as they are in your mind, so making it more competitive and more about dominating your opponent physically is way better for real life.

Nothing more exciting than pins and submissions wrestling.  Barefoot.  Preferably topless.

I'm a little bit torn here because I love catfights, rules catfights, but even in a rules catfight there is a chance something could happen to turn the contest violent. Maybe a slap to the face that the other woman thinks is too hard which sparks an overly violent reaction from that and pretty soon you have gone from two women who agreed to rules now having an all out IRL catfight.
As I have said I do prefer rules catfights but not at the expense of my mrs getting hurt so I think it would be wrestling for me now......but wearing dresses or skirt and blouse with stockings :)

I am a fan, and have arranged, both catfight and wrestling matches. Understanding safety is key, because injury can occur in either type of match. Things like hair pulling for control, and not just yanking. No joint manipulation, and having trust that both women will stop action if the other asks. Light catfight matches are safer for amateurs than the really rough stuff. I would leave that to really experienced women. I would assume that the riskiest style for amateurs would be pro style, which I have no interest in.

I much prefer wrestling, but it has to be intense.  There has to be a real desire on behalf of both women to win.  Many of the matches at the Biker week gatherings were great.  Competitive, confident women going at it in.  That's what I liked about many of the Crystal fights, they were very intense - an not scripted.  I didn't care for the more brutal fights, but the ones that were more like hard wrestling with hair pulling and few slaps (like Andi vs. Taylor) remain high on my viewing list.

I would never want my wife to get into a fight with another woman, and I can't stand MMA, but I could really go for seeing her in the Cabbage Patch at Daytona.

Not sure what will happen with the cabbage patch this year, the owner died in a car accident a few months ago.
