I don't much follow social media, but the last I checked, as it was on the news, to promote A Simple Favor, Lively has eradicated herself from all of her accounts, so the premise seems a tad flawed. As for voting... certain radical forces at the dawn of the internet had stayed on the fringe, but for the newest generation, to whom the actual, non-electronic offline life is the pale copy, it didn't take much convincing that influencing online votes in voting brigades influences real life. The effort here is the statement that only their opinions matter on the account of being the loudest.

All of blakes social media is back to normal now. Also good point about the other stuff. They could at least make it not so obvious. I've been keeping a close eye on the poll and the votes for option 4 doubled in the span of about 10 min.
