Harriotte Lane from England has challenged Californian pop princess
Katy Perry to take part in a ladies’ wrestling competition for charity which takes place annually in her town in the northeast of her country.
This year, the money raised will benefit a charitable organisation which identity is yet to be revealed; Katy has agreed to fight Harriotte in the ring which will be erected in the young model’s hometown’s main square.
This is what Harriotte had to say when asked about her upcoming wrestling match:
’I’ve won pageants and I’ve been a beauty queen before, and this is a new exciting venture for me! I always wanted to take part in my town’s annual women’s wrestling for charity event, and I always wanted Katy Perry as my opponent! My advantage is, I’m 6’2”, and most women would be intimidated by my mere height once they step into the ring with me. And as Katy isn’t very tall and I rather dwarf her I bet she will be, too. It’s going to be such a great day for me - I’ll wrestle one of the most famous pop stars, and also, of course, I’ll win!’Katy predicts a different outcome of her encounter with Harriotte:
’First of all, it’s of course wonderful to put one’s work into furthering a good cause. Saying that, just let me add - I’m not going to be beaten by an eighteen year old girl who’s a bit too sure of herself, no matter how tall she is!
