ECNWC question
« on: July 11, 2019, 03:58:23 AM »
Ok here is the million dollar question... Why won't the owner or whoever is in control now of ECNWC's library do the world a favor and make these fights available for download!? >:(
ECNWC had come and gone by the time I found out content like that even existed and how to go about purchasing it and there is a bunch of people out there who would buy this stuff like CRAZY if it was just available in a convenient and more conventional way EX. via instant download.

I would be more than happy to buy any ECNWC videos I already haven't.

Same here! The owner could name almost any price and I'd be game. As long as he/she offers them as downloads.

I recall this question of downloading ECNWC videos came up more than once while they were still producing content. The problem was always about piracy and bootlegging.  They flat out refused the many suggestions about taking the content on line citing loss of control.  So that was that......I  cannot remember the gents name any longer but he has passed away.  I have no idea who now controls the content but it appears as though it will never be released unless something on that end changes.......sigh.....hope this helps!  ;)

Thanks for the info Willie.
If money was an issue I'm sure the person who is currently in control of the videos would be still trying to sell them so since it doesn't seem to be I think now would be a really good time to put the stuff online. If making money from the videos isn't an issue now why not sell them on line piracy woes or not at least you'd make some money from them a lot more than you would just having them sitting in a box somewhere in an attic or something ;)

Has Bob passed away?

I know he had a bad stroke a few years ago.

I don’t think he will ever sell them as downloads. He was very adamant about that for years.

I agree with jaybee about releasing the ECNWC videos as downloads.  If you're no longer in production, why would piracy be a current concern?  Plus a few of their videos are already available out there on the internet.   It seems they could make some additional money and please a bunch of buyers (a win-win scenario) just by putting them up on Clips4Sale for example or selling them to another distributor for downloading as other out of business producers have done.

I agree, it's INSANELY frustrating. There's some holy grail content there and I'd LOVE to support the company putting it out. But as it is, the website is down and there's no way to support the producer. Many can be found on streaming sites and many are being resold on Ebay (that still means no $ going to the producer). While piracy is obviously a huge concern, that "dam" has been broken and there's currently no way for people to buy these "the right way."

If the original producer has no interest in operating an online download store (I totally get that), I really wish someone would reach out to him and either set it up for him or buy his archives off of him. Buying these fights would just about be the easiest purchase decision I'd ever make and I'd love it if someone (legit) would take my money!

I know he had a bad stroke a few years ago.
His profile on FetLife shows him being active as recently as three days ago. He posted a few new pics and comments as well.

I don’t think he will ever sell them as downloads. He was very adamant about that for years.
I actually inquired about buying the rights to his library a few months ago. He told me I could just have them but that I would need to have access to the videos themselves as he no longer has any to distribute.

Ideally, I’d like to have the original source tapes along with any release forms in order to be able to enforce the copyright.

Sorry to bump this old thread, but thought it would be easier to continue this conversation here than somewhere else.

But man, this lockdown has given me more time then I know what to do with and I just looked Bob from ECNWC up on Fetlife. And I can't tell if that was a mistake or not! He's still posting photos of never before seen fights and fighters that I'd just pay about any $ amount to own. Like some of the legends from ECNWC have multiple unreleased fights and here he is years down the road just casually releasing photos of these! Like I said earlier in this thread, holy grail type of content. Here's just a sampling.

Hollie vs Aubrey 2!

The bad news is we don't seem to be any closer to somehow seeing any of these fights or even know if they are truly "lost." From what I can tell, Bob is a nice older gentleman who is not tech-savvy and doesn't have the capability or motivation to sell ECNWC fights "proper" or really truly know if the old unreleased fights were lost for good.

I'd do just about anything to buy the old and unreleased fights if they exist in better quality and properly support fights like these being made and their producer. Hah, but for that to happen, I think someone more computer literate needs to sit next to Bob and help search for these fights and anything else ECNWC that still exists.

But it's great to see Bob, a legend in catfighting, still is around and has some amazing things from a golden era of catfighting.

I think the issue now is that most  if not all of these videos can be found in high quality on various porn sites and downloaded for free.
With the exception of the few lost tapes of course.

I think there can be a profitable business model that can work for these types of catfight videos in this day and age.

It would have to be more like the camgirl business model.
Maybe have the girls webcam for a week and have the patrons interact with them and bid on what match ups they would want to see.
Bid on what the girls would wear.
Bid on the type of fight or rules allowed.
Once enough money is raised.
They live stream the fights for free.

If there was an easy way to find the entire library of ECNWC fights, in their absolute best quality, that would be about the easiest purchasing decision I've ever made. Plus, the creator of these legendary clips deserves to be compensated for their work, rather than for them to be pirated rampantly in shitty quality on tube sites

The producers and fighters that take the risk to make the videos we "want" deserve better. These fights will happen in the future if the money is there. They won't happen if their niche community is ok with pirating videos in 360p on tube sites.

And your camgirl/catfight idea sounds fun, but it's almost assuredly the wrong topic as ECNWC won't ever exist like that. From what I can tell, he doesn't have interest in producing new fights (health/age) nor the technical abilities to set something like that up.

As I said before, Bob is an absolute legend, but it seems the technology has long surpassed his capabilities. He's currently sitting on a goldmine of released/unreleased content that I'm not sure if it's truly lost or if he just doesn't have the understanding on how to properly find/fix any of his old data. It wouldn't surprise me if someone who is somewhat computer savvy could save or find any of his old fights/lost fights and it would also be smart to set something up to enforce copyright and also a store to buy the fights he does have properly.

Hah, if Ideepthroat can make a return in 2020, so can ECNWC.

Am I the only one that thinks it's kind of a shitty move to tease the fact that you are a catfight distributor that KNOWINGLY has a TON of content people are begging for to be released and you only keep trolling with pics of these potentially excellent fights with no plans of ever releasing them?
Seems like a pretty big  FU to his fan base  >:(
Just my opinion.
