Choreography in Boxing
« on: December 02, 2019, 04:55:23 PM »
My wife is interested in boxing another woman, but only if it is choreographed. When I tried to have her explain what she meant by it, she couldn't explain but basically said it would be a more controlled boxing match for longer endurance possibly.

So I have to ask, what is a choreographed boxing match and has anyone ever done that? If so, how did it go?

Surely this means acting?

That's what I thought and she said no.

What I think she meant is her and another woman work together to put together a series moves that would be executed after another move. If one woman goes for an uppercut, the other would dodge and follow up with a jab to body and then the other would respond and it cycle something like that. The punches are connecting, you just know what is coming next to follow up.

She says it would be more exciting with emphasis on close range boxing, with more action pacing, and an emphasis on endurance.

I think she just wants to put on good boxing match against someone so we both feel satisfied.
