Tensions were high between the two Scooby Doo! 2 actresses due to Linda's increasing popularity which had made Sarah jealous as she was always the main attraction. While they were filming a 3rd instalment of the film, Sarah was itching to upstage Linda and would always do so at any opportunity which caused chaos on the set when Linda would not back down. Finally fed up of their antics, the crew and their co-stars asked that the two find a way to settle their differences before they started filming again. Both actresses were now at their boiling point and wanted to tear each other apart and if that wasn't enough of a reason for them to fight, Linda's constant flirting with Sarah's husband and their co-star Freddie Prinze Jr only served to add fuel to the fire. After a long argument which went nowhere, both of them agreed to fight each other in private, both actresses requested that they be locked in a private room so that they could settle their differences. Thinking they were going to talk things out everyone agreed.
